Re: Prenatal vitamins

  • @hndzfl - no but I have had diarrhea since finding out I'm pregnant (I started taking Rainbow Lights like 6 months ago).

  • I take Nature Made with DHA plus a Vitamin D3 I take it right before bed and they haven't bothered me yet.
Same here!! Nature made with DHA and also a vitamin D3 my dr prescribed. Small world!
I take mine with cereal in the morning with no problems. However, if I take without food I don't do quite as well.

I did the Rainbow Lights first time around but now I'm taking the Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals. It does suck taking three a day but it's the ONLY one I've been able to find with folate instead of folic acid. And DS1 was born with lip tie, tongue tie and a sacral dimple - none of which run in the family. So I'm taking precaution against that whole MTHFR mutation thing, just in case.

  • I take the Vitafusion Prenatal gummies, they have loads of Vitamin C which is awesome since I always get sick this time of year, but so far so good! They also have DHA and folic acid. No iron though.
  • Vitafusion gummies... the only ones I like!
  • A bought a kind at the local health food store. They do make me sick but I take them right before bed so I can sleep through it
  • My doc just told me at my first appontment to start a vitamin. I went to target and got the Natures Made Prenatal + DHA. Take one horse pill a day and have no side effects :)
  • I take Costco brand (Kirkland) prenatal, and have been doing so for the few months that we were trying to conceive. Now that we're pregnant I have added in a daily Vitamin D as well as a D complex at the recommendation of my doctor.

The Kirkland brand are cheap, but boy do they make you violently Ill if you take them on an empty stomach.
