R/R/CS: Lab results came back good for FSH, TSH, Prolactin, and AMH, as far as I can tell. A little anxious to hear what the RE says about my AMH. The actual reference range on the report shows that I'm at the low end of "normal", but charts on Dr Google have me high and close to PCOS or showing "diminished ovarian reserve". Not going to stress out about it until I can talk to an expert.
DH's SA results were mostly good. My obgyn called me (I was actually on top of a mountain in the Alps and I happened to turn on my phone for the gps lol) and said he had good motility and count, but morphology was a little low at 8% (strict criteria). She said she didn't think it was low enough to be causing significant problems so she wasn't going to diagnose MFI. So after I do CD21/7dpo labs I think the next step we talked about with the RE is HSG.
GTKY: Are you a morning person or a night owl? Lark, almost involuntarily. I physically can't go back to sleep for the first 4-5 hours after I wake up. DH is a night owl and it's historically caused a lot of problems in our relationship. I hate popping up like a daisy, wide awake at 7:30am on Saturday and wanting to get out and do things; meanwhile DH is at least 3 hours from waking up and 6 hours from deciding to get off the couch and take a shower. I basically learned to stop cajoling him and he'll get up and go out to breakfast with me about once a month.
Testing: I tested on day 28 just cause and got a BFN trying to be patient and not test again until 14 dpo
R/R/CS: My TWW technically ends on mother's day. So now I'm all sorts of stressed about wanting to turn a test on mother's day.
GTKY: Ha neither. I'm like a middle of the day person. I can get up and get going if I have to but hate it and I can stay up late if I'm doing something or out somewhere but I hate it.

GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? I've always been a night owl. I used to work night shift also. In the past couple years, I moved to day shift, and I'm getting more used to getting up early.
Timing: sucky, I think....I wasn't temping, and I did NOT expect this cycle to go on so long
Testing: my pee sticks and BBT came in the mail today, so I tested this afternoon - BFN - but it wasn't FMU, so I still totally have a chance, right, folks?! oiy
R/R/CS: starting temping TONIGHT! just to get the hang of it so that WHEN CD1 comes, I'm prepared! I'm so frustrated with my cycle...it just doesn't seem cyclical! haha
GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? like @katesmama0706 I would be a mid-day person If I had to pick morning or night, I definitely pick morning though. I go to bed at like 9pm every day, and even on weekends when I have a choice, being awake past 10pm is letting loose! haha

@clover28 can I asked why you're TTA? Loss/medical reasons or just not good timing? Either way...that sucks. FX to you
Ahhh mobile bumping and stuck in the box! Anyway, we were TTA because I have a history of severe hyperemesis and was hospitalized for fluids many times when I was pregnant with my son. I take NP boards in June and wanted to avoid being in the first trimester while preparing and taking them. Obviously I would be over the moon happy if I were pregnant during this time, even if it means studying while lying on the bathroom floor, but ideally it would be great to be post-certification by the time I'm potentially puking nonstop.
@furbabymom2007 how do I check that? ETA: if you're talking about "detector" settings, it says advanced (recommended). Also, I'd be irritated with DH as well. Mine wasn't quite a bad this weekend but decided to stay home and relax while I was at church yesterday. I was gone for 4 hours and he literally did nothing. Nothing. Didn't even watch tv. WTH? And the dogs had pooped on the porch. Even though I told him not to leave them out there very long.
16 makes a lot more sense, but I would never tell you to fudge your data at all. What happens if you change your detector to FAM?

@beary67 sounds like you already have some great advice but it can't hurt to hear someone else's experience my first RE appointment was around CD4 or 5 so she immediately did an ultrasound and told me when she thought I would ovulate (also told me I had what looked like DOR). Then they did an HSG which I was not prepared for in the first appointment... I figured it would just be paperwork and a nice chat. Anyway, since you have already ovulated they won't do that for you but might order a progesterone blood test to see how "strong" your ovulation was. One thing I would definitely ask is what means of communication do they use... phone, email, etc. I have a hard time sometimes b/c I am always speaking with the nurses.. never with her. I have heard other people that email their RE constantly asking questions and their doc emails them back directly. That sounds like a little thing but you are going to have a ton of appointments and questions along the way (well, hopefully not haha). Also ask if they have doctors on-call on the weekend. Some clinics do and some don't from what I hear. Good luck!

R/R/CS: It's officially been a year of trying, so made an appointment for tomorrow to talk to a new OB/GYN (stupid insurance made me switch and my yearly well woman isn't until October, so I just wanted to see someone to get a baseline/discuss options/etc.). Of course AF will likely come tomorrow which makes the appt less effective, but oh well.
Also, apologies, I've switched my screen name and completely lurked this month so I do feel a bit out of things, but trying to jump in again!
GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Totally a morning person (although getting up is hard, but once I'm up, I'm good). I fall asleep on the couch watching TV practically every single night.
R/R/CS: It's Monday and I'd rather be snuggled on my couch with some tea and my latest book for book club.
GTKY: Definitely a night owl. I usually fall asleep around 1am and wake up by 7am. I like waking up early on weekends- there's something about the calm before everybody else is awake.
CD/DPO: CD 32....thirty-freaking-two. I don't even know DPO many more, This is long for me. I know some of you ladies have much longer cycles than this and I can't understand how you do it. It's excruciating!
Timing: I dont even know any more.
Testing: BFN yesterday.
R/R/CS: I didn't test with FMU...How important is FMU when you are testing AFTER you've missed the first day of your period? Also, I just got a BBT thermometer to start temping. I never sleep the entire night long. I wake up at least 2 or 3 times. Is it more important to take my temp at the same time each morning or, say, if I wake up earlier or later than usual, but have had several hours of straight sleep, would it be better to take it then? So far I've been taking it at 7 every morning no matter what and it has been pretty dang consistent, but I don't know what I'm doing.
GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Neither! I'm an afternoonie. If I had to choose I'd say I am more of a night owl than morning person though.
ETA: @buthayna I missed your post! It looks like our minds are in the same place! BFP or CD1 wishes to you!
Bear hugs and fingers crossed for everyone in need today! I'm thinking of all of you and hope you're able to treat yourself in some way.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 19/2
Timing: -3, -2, -1, O, +1
Testing: Trying to hold out until AF is due but...probably CD11 or so
R/R/CS: DH and I had a really fantastic, productive, kind conversation last night about planning for baby, especially around finances. I plan on taking extended leave (at least 6 months) because we can afford to save for it if we start now but I haven't felt like he's been caring as much about saving. We really broke it down into specifics and came to some important compromises. The biggest one is that I originally really wanted to deliver in a birth center with a midwife but we agreed that I'll find the hospital branch that comes the closest to that feeling (we have Kaiser and there's a few locations near us that supposedly use midwife led care; I just have to keep researching) and then hire a doula. Doulas are of course much more affordable but can still provide a lot of the benefit that a midwife does. It just feels like he's finally coming around to the fact that this is happening (hopefully sooner rather than later) and is getting on board in his own way.
GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Total night owl. And DH is a total morning person. We get into little fights all the time about it.
@pretzel2plus1 if I put the watery CM back in on day 19 and change the detector to fam, it says I ovulated on CD 14.
The real question now is when do I test....because I'm really missing my coffee. I don't have cheapies and don't see the point in ordering them since we're going on a TTC hiatus after this month. Right now I could be 8, 6, or 3 DPO. I guess I'll at least wait 9 days or so to see if temps are holding strong.
DD1 (2008) DD2 (2010), #3 (DH's first bio kid) on the way in January 2017! Almost always mobile bumping--forgive my typos.
R/R/CS: I didn't test with FMU...How important is FMU when you are testing AFTER you've missed the first day of your period? Also, I just got a BBT thermometer to start temping. I never sleep the entire night long. I wake up at least 2 or 3 times. So far I've been taking it at 7 every morning no matter what and it has been pretty dang consistent, but I don't know what I'm doing.
@stephy_p It's not so much FMU as it is concentrated urine - usually FMU is very concentrated unless you pee a thousand times a night like I do. People generally say ~3-5 hours holding it should do. No matter the time of day, if it's roughly the color of apple juice, you should be golden (literally). While a person who has been pregnant for several weeks could turn a test no matter what, even if your period has been missed you'll likely need to use concentrated urine since the HCG probably wouldn't have stockpiled up yet.
Thanks @thejerilu !! i wake up and pee a bajillion times a night and a gazillion times during the day, so I will try to hold it 3-4 hours next time. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but was wondering if I was doing it wrong, haha!
Testing: Maybe on Saturday. We will see how long I can hold out.
R/R/CS: I've been using OPKs but haven't been temping at all. DH was a little freaked out when I told him I bought OPKs, so I don't want to scare him too much by going all in on our first cycle TTC. He is excited to be trying for our first but I can tell he is also very nervous. He thinks a baby will take up all his car part money!
GTKY: I am definitely a morning person. I'm up at 5:15am on week days and my job is emotionally and mentally exhausting so by the time 10:30 rolls around I'm done. Usually up by 6:30am on weekends. I hate sleeping in on the weekends because I feel like I'm wasting the day away.
SDSwenson beary67 and @SongbirdintheCity Good luck tomorrow! @furbabymommy2007 and @teamginger13 Thanks for the advice/questions to ask. My consult is Wednesday. antoto May I ask what LFAF is? GTKY: Team Morning! I'm usually in bed by 9:30 (10:30 weekends). I'm up by 5:30 everyday. My dogs hate sleeping in.
@CoonMom uhhh I envy your cleaning/organizing spree this weekend! The weather was crappy here and I totally should have cleaned out one of our closets!

stephy_p Sorry you're dealing with the long cycle. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's an awful waiting game, just wondering when your body will do something. Until I personally figure out that when I ovulated (which was CD 50 this cycle), I just started testing around 30 days once a week. Plus more BDing than I would normally do, "just in case".

CD/DPO: 26/11
Timing: not great
Testing: BFN today
Married: May 2008
TTC #1 since August 2015
FET #1: November 4, 2016
BFP: November 13, 2016
EDD: July 25, 2017
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 22/3
Timing: -6, -3, -1, +1
Testing: 13DPO
Me: 34 | DH: 31

BFP: December 20, 2016

We get into little fights all the time about it.
if I put the watery CM back in on day 19 and change the detector to fam, it says I ovulated on CD 14.

It's not so much FMU as it is concentrated urine - usually FMU is very concentrated unless you pee a thousand times a night like I do.
Dare me to say concentrated urine again.

i wake up and pee a bajillion times a night and a gazillion times during the day, so I will try to hold it 3-4 hours next time. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but was wondering if I was doing it wrong, haha!

CD/DPO: 22/8 I think. I guessed this cycle. No temping.
Timing: meh. Could have been much better!
Testing: not till AF is due. Maybe a couple days later
R/R/CS: it's my birthday! But work is insane so I'm just posting and running, hopefully I can't get back on later to comment!
GTKY: Let's keep it simple today. Are you a morning person or a night owl? Definitely a night owl!!
CD/DPO: 22/6
Timing: -4 -3 -2 -1
I hate sleeping in on the weekends because I feel like I'm wasting the day away.
beary67 and @SongbirdintheCity Good luck tomorrow!
@furbabymommy2007 and @teamginger13 Thanks for the advice/questions to ask. My consult is Wednesday.
antoto May I ask what LFAF is? I've search but can't find it.
@momtoleo I first read your name as momtoleDO and was going to ask if you are from Toledo OH! I'm sorry you hit the 12 month mark:(
Month/Cycle: 15
CD/DPO: 18/4
Timing: EOD
Testing: None planned.
R/R/CS: Rave-I was super productive this weekend cleaning/organizing the basement. Rant-work is driving me nuts. DH wants me to job hunt but I'm worried I'm going to need my vacation time for RE appointments. Tough call.
GTKY: Team Morning! I'm usually in bed by 9:30 (10:30 weekends). I'm up by 5:30 everyday. My dogs hate sleeping in.
