How are you feeling?
Pretty good. I'm exhausted, but a 9 month old and umpiring on top of teaching can do that to one.
R/R/Other:
My feelings are hypocrites. I am so jealous that H gets to stay home with L while he is looking for work, and I really want to do the same. Then I think about summer, and how I will have basically 3 months of STAH mom-ing and I am terrified.

I was about 7, I think. We were watching a kids movie at some yearly get-together and one of my older friends told me. from what I remember I wasn't too broken up.

How far along are you? EDD? Today I am 7+4!

How are you feeling? I had the worst dream last night that we did the u/s and there was nothing there. So this morning's nausea and achiness was welcomed LOL. Really nervous for my u/s next week.

R/R/Other: I really feel like I need to stay off the internet until after my u/s because reading other peoples' stories is making me worry too much.

Questions: On a happier note, how are you going to deal with people wanting to touch your tummy? I work at a large company and my friend who just had her baby last month was continually accosted by women touching her. I want to be a gracious person but I am uncomfortable with strangers touching me.

@leksiL I rubbed theirs. When ever someone who didn't ask rubbed mine I just rubbed theirs and watched them get super AWKWARD.

How far along are you? EDD? 6 weeks 2 days, 12/24

How are you feeling? So sleepy. And queasy and lightheaded.

R/R/Other: I'm glad DH is off on Mondays. I feel ten times more tired than I did last week. I couldn't stop falling asleep on the couch last night, or falling back asleep in bed this morning.

Questions:

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? I think I was probably 7 or 8. My mom was driving us to school for an open house in the evening (it was close to Christmas). I asked if Santa was real and she asked what I thought, and I said "probably not." Haha she told me I was right and I was like, "so the Easter bunny? Tooth fairy?" And she came clean hahaha. I wasn't upset though. I went home and told my brother (three years older) and he was like, duh. He had known for years and kept the act going for me, which was sweet of him.

@leksiL I have no idea because a coworker already touched mine and I was too caught off guard to say anything....I wasn't expecting this until at least the 2nd trimester. I always thought I'd be cool about it but it really bothered me and I like my coworker a lot....:/

@leksiL Just remember that they initiated unwanted contact. That thought always made it easier to do it back. Or you could just get a sign and wear it. Something like 'No Touchy the bump. I will hurt you'

How are you feeling? Okay today. Last night was pretty bad though

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? Geez. I'm not sure how old I was. I remember some kid on the school bus yelling it and then it kind of sunk in. I never told my parents and just went with it.

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? Hmm...I think I was probably about 8. I can't remember exactly how I found out.

@leksiL With DS, I can't remember anyone actually touching my bump. I think I give off a "don't f with me" sort of vibe. If it happens this time, I will probably just say, "don't. Please don't." Lol.

How far along are you? EDD? 7+5/Dec 14 (both of which I think are incorrect, but I won't go to full term anyway)

How are you feeling? Physically - pretty damn good for making 2 babies. Emotionally - I think I'm on the up and up. I'm taking control of the news of twins and making plans/budgets helps me feel in control. I have freak out moments and tears every day (not my normal character) that I can't do it and my life will never be the same, but they're getting less frequent. Look at me coping!

R/R/Other: I wish I had a friend or someone somewhat close to get some guidance about multiples.

How far along are you? EDD? 9wks 5 days! Due Dec 1st

How are you feeling? Still going to bed around 7pm, but the nausea is gone, just gagging in the mornings/nights. Seems that I am permanently constipated and permanently bloated, but I haven't been overly emotional, I have high spirits! Just can't express how good I feel because I'm dozing off.

R/R/Other: I got cornered by a senior manager in a private meeting, she literally asked if I was pregnant (I was feeling really sick in our meeting and she just randomly came out and asked) and I can't lie if someone outright asks me, anyway I asked her not to tell anyone, and now her boss somehow knows. So obviously she is a piece of poo. I'm really disappointed, so now I have an appt with HR thursday to tell them a) I'm pregnant and b) my boss did the faux-pas and asked me outright. It was not the plan to tell work at 10 weeks but obviously they know already so I have to. I'm not worried though, it's a great company that supports mat leave, even tops it up for the first 17 weeks off.

We were 8 &10, went to florida for xmas, we come from Canada and there's always snow at christmas so my sis and I were very confused about santa's logistics (how would he find where we are now, there's no chimney, etc.) and confronted my parents about it. They tried to convince us but it wasn't happening.

@PrettyPalomino sorry that happened! A lot of people at my work have figured it out but I feel like I'm subconsciously dropping hints. I outright told my boss since I had to WFH so much and burst into tears but he was awesome about it. That is a sweet maternity leave benefit! We only get one week and then the temporary disability thing, and then we have to use our PTO. Luckily we are straddling years so I technically could take something like 12 weeks after the disability, but I am only going to take 12 weeks total. My friend took six months off (mostly unpaid) and I would like to do that but unfortunately am the main breadwinner in the family.

@leksiL I'm up in Canada! So the government pays for a year's worth of maternity leave (50% of your salary) but it's not every company that tops up, so that's a big help.

Also, I've had two or three people touch my belly, so far it's only been close family and friends, but all I can think when they touch my belly is "dude this is all bloat, baby is the size of a cherry, you can't cup that in your hands... let me hold your gut now."

My friends never gave anything away! Or I didn't question anything.

How far along are you? EDD? 8 weeks, 3 days

How are you feeling? Nausea like crazy for the last 2 days! I guess 8 weeks isn't too late for MS to start. No vomiting, but lots of random gagging. On the bright side, I feel that my energy levels have picked up.

R/R/Other: I have a second ultrasound with the RE today and I'm super excited! I was soooo nervous/scared for the last one but I really feel like everything is going well this time.

Questions: Nada

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? I worked it out for myself when I was 7, that's when I started realizing just how big the world was and that there was no way Santa could make it around in one night.

How are you feeling? I'm feeling good for the most part!! Same symptoms.. sore boobs, dizziness, starting to have a slight aversion to chicken if I'm the one that has to cook it. Lol!

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? I was probably around 8 I think? One of my classmates spoiled it for a bunch of us when we were at a sleepover and I confronted my parents and they told me the truth. I think I was more upset when they told me that they would dump the glass of milk back in the carton and take one bite of the cookie and put the rest back in the jar! Haha

How far along are you? EDD? 9+2 | 12/4

How are you feeling? Still feeling a fair bit of nausea throughout the day. Yesterday, was the first day that I didn't crawl into bed as soon as DH got home though, so I count that as a win.

R/R/Other: I got a flat tire running errands this morning. Luckily, DH was able to come rescue me so that we could pick the boys up from their MMO program on time. I really need to learn how to change a flat tire.

Questions:

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? Probably somewhere around 9-10. My sister and I asked my mom on the way back home from ballet practice one night.

GTKY - Since our babies are due in December.....How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? I think I was about 9? My parents decided to tell us ON CHRISTMAS right before opening gifts. I knew already, but something about being told specifically was crushing for me, so there's a whole bunch of photos from that year where I'm all red and puffy.
