@mrsdaddario - FX that you can start a medicated cycle and that you have good results back from your blood work! I'm going to focus on my health and see how it goes until we can get stuff started!
R/R/CS: Moving on to another cycle after an annoyingly short LP. Still in the wallowing phase over here. Also, my WTO is usually long, boring, and frustrating, so I will likely be popping in periodically, but not every day. It makes me a little crazy to be keeping tabs that closely. I hope that's okay!!
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do outside in the summer? I hate being hot, and I've had skin cancer a couple times already, so my outside time is usually limited in the summer! There is a place downtown that does movies in the park one night a week during the summer, and I love doing that!!
Thank you @Lecool I would never wish these feelings on anyone. I love that you are all here!
@mrsdaddario Last month DH went to the doctors to refill a prescription and bought up that I was worried about TTC and asked if there is anything that can be checked or tested since we had been trying for 8 month and he said they wouldn't consider anything until the year mark because we are a "young healthy couple and should have no problems trying to get pregnant on our own", whatever that means. So I guess for now we are just waiting and hoping and then go from there.
@DoctorDonna Good luck with your new health journey! Sending you positive vibes. You got this!

@Kiki75@mrsdaddario Thanks for your thoughts, my pup is alright. He was diagnosed with epilepsy about 5 years ago but he sleeps in our bed, so whenever he has one I get woken up and have to change all the bedding I suppose it's good practice for when we have kids
Hugs to everyone at or approaching the one year mark. I have been there in the past, I know it sucks. Hoping you will get answers soon.
Why would you insinuate that you would hate your lives? That comes off as a little hurtful. I can't really speak for others, but I am on month 10 of trying and I most certainly do not " hate my life " and it is not really something to laugh about. I am sure you did not mean it that way, but that is how it comes off a little.

*TW* After 19 months of TTC #1, I never hated my life. Yea it was a long journey and I had my bad emotional "why isn't my body working, why can't I have a baby" days I never hated my life. Maybe I am reading too much into it and you meant it as a joke but I'm with @PepperATit comes off mean...

I am so sorry. I did not mean it badly at all. My friends and I say "hate our lives" all the time to basically mean "get frustrated." But now that you pointed it out I do see how it can be taken the wrong way.
Although when I went through infertility in the past, I admit I had a terrible attitude about it and most definitely hated my life sometimes. But again, that really isn't what I meant in this case.
I guess what I really meant was that we won't be this excited about the TTC process for very long. At least for me, the chipper excitement doesn't last.
@QueenSunscreen omg yes went to the dr. Apparently skin yeast infection. To make it worse pregnant women tend to get it. No doc, not KU ugh. Could have it for a couple months. Got a tiny tube of cream for $60!!! Changing diet could speed up recovery. Not sure I can stick to it but I'm trying! Thankfully it doesn't itch but I. Look. Hideous
Really. I so so hate the idea of having hurt anyone's feelings. Please know that I was laughing at myself and my own attitudes, not at anyone else.
I understand and hear you, I appreciate you saying that. I know it was not meant in a hurtful way, but it is important to think about what you are saying. I am sorry you had to go through that and I most definitely have my bad days, but I am still looking forward to the future.

R/R/CS: so... I have just lived through the scariest week of my life. Last time I posted I talked about my 2 year old dealing with illness. Flu symptoms, then a stomach bug type thing, then a possible bowel obstruction. After a long day in the pediatricians office last Friday without any real answers we went home and were told to go to the ER if she got worse. Well that night we ended up in the ER with her and confirmed a mild obstruction. They were confident that it would pass on its own with some laxative treatment and they sent us home. Monday we went in for some bloodwork. Tuesday afternoon I got a call from her pediatrician that her hemoglobin was critically low and we needed to go to the emergency room immediately. After a whirlwind of tests we were transferred to MCV where she was seen by a team of hematologists and oncologists. They started iron treatments Wednesday to see if they could get her numbers to go up. Thursday morning her hemoglobin was down even more (she was at a 5... It's supposed to be 12) and her bone marrow wasn't producing new baby red blood cells. She needed and received a transfusion immediately. Thank god the transfusion worked and her numbers started to climb. We spent 5 days in the hospital. She's undergone scopes and countless biopsies. She's stable and home but we still need answers. We're in for a long road of testing and treatments until we get to the bottom of this. Needless to say she's our focus right now. Financially I'm not sure we can handle all of this and another baby. We have a lot to think about.
