Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
If you are a contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here! --------------------------------------------------------------- CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing?
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Cautiously posting this but the line is fairly dark and there's no mistaking it as an evap. CD/DPO of first BFP? 29/12 or 11... I wasn't sure which day I O'ed
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3
What were you doing TGKU? OPKing + Temping, I also tried Evening Primrose Oil for the first time this month. We also used pre-seed during sex. I think that helped a lot because I tend to be kind of dry.
How was your timing? -3, 0, +1 or -4, -1, 0... again, not sure.
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I really did not think I was KU until late today. I was even planning on not testing until tomorrow... but... I started having dry heaves. Like really serious nausea. And I felt incredibly hot. No sore breasts. Not much CM at all. I had what I thought were serious AF cramps last night, but I guess not.
Edit to add CD breakdown now that the shock has worn off, if it's helpful to anyone else:
1DPO: Nothing out of the ordinary. Usual tender, swollen breasts. 4DPO-7DPO: I was extremely tired and fatigued. I could barely stay awake through the day. 8DPO: I started to get really irritable. Was sure AF was on the way because I usually get really irritable the day before AF arrives. I also started having nausea. This was nothing out of the ordinary for me though... I get a little bit of it every cycle. Breasts stopped feeling tender... usually another sign AF is coming. A tiny bit of creamy CM, but mostly just... dry. 9DPO: My hands and feet were *freezing*. I also was having night sweats. Watery CM started happening... was definitely sure AF was coming and that this was just my corpus luteum breaking down. 10DPO: Cramps. Like, good old fashioned AF style cramps. Headache. Basically every feeling in the world like my estrogen was dropping and I was about to have AF. 11DPO: More cramps. 12DPO (today): Cramps that woke me up. And then cramps in the afternoon that were so bad that led to *TMI* diarrhea */TMI*. Unrelenting nausea. And I just felt really really hot. I was sure the nausea was caused by being overheated. Took my temperature and realized I was running a fever of 101 and was having dry heaves and struggled with the idea of testing because I had been so good about not doing it.... but caved. 3 positives on 3 different brands, so I feel pretty good about it.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I thought I was going to do something special but I couldn't really keep it to myself, I just showed him. And that was it.
Anything else to add? Everyone here has been so awesome in the journey. I can't wait to see more of you on the birth month boards
Yay, congrats @canavara ! Best wishes for a happy and healthy 9! I've never heard of using Evening Primrose Oil- what is that used for and how were you doing it, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks everyone! I feel sad moving on because I don't think any of the other boards are going to be able to top everyone here I'm still a little bit nervous because my missed AF isn't until tomorrow according to FF, but... another positive this morning (and confirmed with CB digital), so I'm probably worrying over nothing.
@RedBreast35 -- It's used for increasing the quality of your CM so that you end up with more EWCM (similar to how people take Mucinex/Robitussin around their FW). You're only supposed to take it for the first half of your cycle and stop taking it immediately after O. I honestly don't know if it made a dramatic difference for me... I had a lot more CM the first half of my cycle than normal but it wasn't fertile CM and when I did get EWCM (which I normally do, but not a lot), it wasn't much different. The Preseed, though, was a godsend.
Congrats @canavara Fingers crossed for a super healthy baby and an easy pregnancy. Also, I was on the fence for a bit about ordering some preseed for our first month trying. I am now going to Amazon and just getting some. You have convinced me. If it works I will owe you. Hoping to join you in J17.

Congratulations @canavara! H&H 9 months! CD/DPO of first BFP? Technically 8, got super faint lines on two tests but wasn't convinced. I was already going to my GP for a physical, so she said she'd run a blood test. Still haven't heard about that, but got a true BFP from a digital this morning (10 days)!
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? Only 2, but this was my first month charting. Before we started trying and I had a long sitdown with my mom to find out about her pregnancy journeys, and she conceived very quickly for her first pregnancy too, so genetics probably had something to do with it.
What were you doing TGKU? BBT, CM (not consistently), and HIO.
How was your timing? -4, -3, -1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? So far, none! I had a little light cramping for the past two days (I don't usually get any PMS symptoms), and maybe a little nausea (no vomiting), but other than that I'm feeling great!
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I actually told him on Wednesday when I got the two faint lines that I was 80% sure. He got home from practice (he plays Irish sports), so I told him that our dog had something to tell him. Then I proceeded to pick up the dog and say (in the dog's silly voice, of course), "Mom thinks I'm going to be a big brother!"
Anything else to add? I know I'm new to the community, but I just wanted to thank everyone who's chart stalked, given me advice, and offered kind and encouraging words. These boards are a safe haven for me and I really appreciate everyone! I can't wait to see more of you on the birth month boards!

^This time a million. My mother had been pregnant a dozen times, and had 7 full-term pregnancies with 6 take-home babies. She got pregnant very quickly and very easily every time she would "try".
If genetics had anything to do with getting pregnant quick, I would've gotten KU back in August/September of '15. In other words - it doesn't. Congratulations, but - it's not your genetics that got you pregnant. It's well-timed sex, a good egg, and good sperm.
@KristoB yep, I've been active on the boards basically daily for a while now. I recognize your name
and to you and @izza2 as well, I'm certainly not trying to insinuate that it's only genetics. It's as much luck as anything else. But in many aspects of my life I find my experiences have mirrored my mother's. My intention was certainly not to create unrealistic expectations for anyone else, only sharing my own experience.
Thanks!

It seems to me that the grad thread wording needs to be more specific if someone who has only been hanging out here for, oh, say, just shy of two weeks can feel like it's appropriate to contrubute to it. @danceitout, since you're new here, I'm gonna lay it out for you: you have not been here for "a while." You have barely been around for long enough to lurk properly. If you had, you'd understand the culture of this board and know that a place where women have been contributing daily for months, if not years, is not a place to come in and wave your BFP around and complain about how much "faint lines suck." You'd know how many of us would give our left arm for just one of your sucky faint lines. You'd know that attempting to commiserate about your faint lines with someone who is concerned about a possible CP is so far out of line it's not even funny. It's like complaining about terrible restaurant service to a starving child in Africa. Read the room.
I'm happy that you're so ecstatic to find so much in common with your mom. I get it - my mom is the tits, and I still want to grow up to be just like her. But the stars aligning for your narrative of being just like your mom is just fantasy. We do science here. It's what's best for everyone.
@danceitout Congratulations. I honestly have no idea who you are. But to be fair I've taken a fairly laid back approach to bumping (comparatively anyhow) this month. I've really barely participated in the daily threads at all (sorry guys!) so I guess I just missed your posts. ETA: I'm not trying to be rude here. I'm kinda having a bad day and I'm sorry if it seems like I'm taking it out on you. I really am happy for you even know we don't really know each other. I think it is a wonderful thing when a lady who is TTC gets a BFP whether I know her or not. And I'd certainly never begrudge someone their BFP just because we aren't friends.
Wishing you both a H&H 9 months.

What were you doing TGKU? CM monitoring, BD and BBT
How was your timing? I think -2,-1 +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Lightheadedness. I just feel lightheaded at times. Some cramping yesterday. Nothing other than that. It's weird and not sinking in yet since i feel so normal.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Haven't told him yet. I got BFP x2 today on cheapie and FR.. Not sure when i will. I probably will will monday? I need to let it soak in
Anything else to add? I was convinced AF was coming. I was so crampy yesterday. I went out and drank with hubby and my best friend. I only had 3 so it cant be that bad but i still feel horrible. But VERY excited!!!! I can't wait to see everyone in BMB. This puts me as due in January 2017.
@HopingForOneAgain thank you for being so positive. I made the mistake and posted in wrong thread. Only negativity after that so it makes me happy to hear positive thoughts
CD/DPO of first BFP? 29/ 8 (but was veryyyy faint. I took a digital test today to confirm!) How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 9 months, 8 cycles.
What were you doing TGKU? PNV, temping, charting, OPKs.
How was your timing? -4, -2, -1, O
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Nausea, mostly. I've felt pretty normal otherwise. I also got an implantation dip in my FF chart yesterday, so that was a big indication as well.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I bought custom bottles of Coca Cola MONTHS ago with "Share a coke with Mama," and "Share a coke with Daddy," on each of them. After I took the digital test today, I put them on the bathroom counter, and yelled for my husband to come in there. He wasn't even looking at the counter... he thought I was wanting him to get one of our cats out of the closet! So I had to tap on the counter and say "No, over here!" It took him a minute, but he got the biggest smile, said "Really?" and picked me up for the biggest hug. We have lovingly nicknamed the squish "Kitten."
Anything else to add? That I am so soooo grateful for this community and will miss all of you as I am moving on. I will still lurk like crazy and cheer you all on for your BFPs! I hope to see more of y'all in the January '17 board! Hugs and kisses to you all.

In other words - it doesn't.
Congratulations, but - it's not your genetics that got you pregnant. It's well-timed sex, a good egg, and good sperm.

and to you and @izza2 as well, I'm certainly not trying to insinuate that it's only genetics. It's as much luck as anything else. But in many aspects of my life I find my experiences have mirrored my mother's. My intention was certainly not to create unrealistic expectations for anyone else, only sharing my own experience.
Thanks!

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? Two
What were you doing TGKU?
<br>
CD/DPO of first BFP? 29/ 8 (but was veryyyy faint. I took a digital test today to confirm!)
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
