Just a random idea, what about something for us FTMs? Like, I don't know, we can say what we're most afraid about, most excited about, first experiences? Something once a week with new and repeated questions.
@phoenix870509 - sure! Can we call it a FTM thread? If you'd like to take it in you can come up with whatever ideas weekly you think are appropriate. I can add it if you want to take it.

Sure, I'll take it And of course, those who are not FTMs are welcome to chime in, maybe ease some of our anxieties and try not to laugh at us .

@DiFazette My last BMB had a monthly-every other month thread of FTM ask BTDT moms. It was kind of a no holds barred thing where BTDT told about labor/PP/BF/ sex and everything else you can think of. I think we started it when everyone was starting 2nd tri.

Monthly could work, too. Like I said, just a thread for us FTMs to talk about what scares us the most, what "firsts" we are experiencing, and ask those BTDTs about what we can expect.

Thanks ladies for your feedback and suggestions on how to make this board effective, and inclusive for all members of December 2016. Please read this if you've volunteered or made suggestions as you may have a weekly job now! I have a few clarifiers that have come up throughout this thread that I wanted to address here:
Posting outside of the weekly threads - of course there is a time and a place to do this! However, if you want to mention that your breasts are killing you while you sleep (like me) the symptoms thread will be open all week for continual responses. You can respond as things change, daily, weekly, whatever you feel. This is not to minimize any one person's experience, but to keep the 300+ of us from starting similar threads daily.
The Weekly threads listed below will be posted by the member tagged at the start of the week and they should include the date of that Monday (or Sunday in one case) so members know they are participating in the most up to date thread. The weekday threads will be posted on their corresponding morning. If you need to discuss, ask questions, vent, etc and you find that one of the threads has not been started by checking the board, go on and make it yourself!!
Weekly Threads: these will be posted on Mondays and will run the course of the week. (please add Monday's date to thread title) -Symptoms thread @sammyl1221 ; -Weekly randoms - Need a volunteer -Exercise/fitness check in @H4aPartyof5 ; -Meal planning/diet/food check in @JustBored10 -Moms of multiples check in - Need a volunteer -PGAL check in @R0824H -Weekly appointments @cayaylonglegs -TTGP GRADS Check in - Need a volunteer who participated on TTGP -Plus Size Moms Check in @JulieSmiles ; - Moms of toddlers @jennbaylor12 - Stupid questions Sunday @slartybartfast
Weekday Threads: happen once a week on the same day (please add date to thread title) -Monday BF (Bitchfest) @JulieSmiles ; -TW (Twatwaffle) Tuesday! @Kate08Young ; -AW (Attention Wanted) Wednesday and/or WTF (What The F**k) Wednesday @DiFazette -UO (Unpopular Opinion) Thursday @sammyl1221 ; -FFFC (Flame Free Friday) Confessions @WorkingOnMyNightCheese ; ***HDBD (hump day bump day) will be added Wednesday's once they're necessary! @cayaylonglegs ;
@JulieHollz13, @sugargirl1019 - let me know what threads you want - both of you said you'd take one based on what's left.
Would any of you like to volunteer to host the weekly thread? I think it would be great not only for mom's with big families but also for first time mom's and those nervous about adding a 2nd or a 3rd to their family.

Can I make a suggestion? Can we have a generic notice for "***We have a weekly thread for this. Please check it out over here...***" Or something along those lines that would be exactly the same (aside from actual category name or whatever) every time so it never feels personal?
I've noticed that most of the drama or hurt feelings come from misconstruing comments. Even the most basic and respectful responses can be read as snarky by someone. Especially if you're someone who just opened up about something or was excited to contribute for the first time. Even feeling the slightest twinge of not being welcome can deter someone from wanting to post again.
