  • Omg I lost 3.5 lbs this week!!!!!

  • Way to go @chelseajeanene that's AWESOME

  • I've been running and doing workouts via Nike app since about 8 weeks pp. I'm down 30 lbs but still have 18 to go before I'll be back to my prepregnancy weight. It's so hard breastfeeding and trying to lose weight because I still have to eat so many calories! It's definitely easier for me to work out than diet because I have 0 will power when it comes to eating sweets! I am trying to cut down on them to see if I can get some more weight off a little quicker. I wanna be beach ready come June!
  • @chelseajeanene I LOVE FitGirls! I have all of the books and we actually use the recipes for our daily meals. It changed the way we eat drastically. However... today after eating well all day, we got chicken nuggets and McFlurries  :D

The working out part of FitGirls is something I just look at and go, "Meh," because I don't even know how to have time to workout. Also I haven't had any sort of routine EVER, so trying to start something now is even more rough. I'd like to but... excuses all over the place.
  • @blizmark omg yes the food recipes are delicious. I plan to have the pb&b fitmcmuffin all week. I found 150 calorie banana bread English muffins...hello. Lol! I substitute a lot of things and I was only able to work out 3 days this week because finding the time is seriously so hard. My biggest problem is not eating sweets so the food guide is helping so much with it. I'm obsessed with the chocolate chip cookie doughettes!! But if I only worked out 3 days and I cheated 2 days an a row and still lost 3.5 lbs then I'm excited for this. I told my hubby that doing a meal plan for the weekend won't work out for me, so I plan to stick to the meal plan 5 days a week and then the weekends will be my time to try and be healthy on my own

I'm trying to get back on that horse. I go biking at 6:40 in the morning (before the baby hubby and doggy wake up) every M,T,T,F.S. But there is always something that stops me. I'm sick, I got my period, it's cold as balls in the morning. Today I didn't go because it was raining heavily.
I was 4lbs away from my weight like 3 months ago and then something happened and I really don't know what. Now I am 11lbs! And my 5 year old nephew asked me "you have a fat stomach again, or are you with baby?" WTF kid!!!!!
  • Just this week I have started exercising again...

First jog in one year was yesterday..I managed 10 minutes (0.9km) and that was jogging/walking. Ohhh I'm so unfit now :(

Today I walked 30 mins. So I'm trying to do a little each day...it's been so long!

  • @ems028 way to go- every bit counts! I can barely run for ten minutes too!
  • I've been back to consistently working out for 2 weeks now and came across the The Body Project videos on YouTube. I love them! I am doing the beginner/intermediate videos and they are fun and the time goes by quickly. Plus there are videos for every fitness level.
  • Ugh the most I have done is walk around the neighborhood SOME days and well lift and walk around with my 23lb LO (even some squats when he drops things) do they count ? :( I really need to do something. I am just so afraid it will affect my milk. We bought an elliptical right after I had the baby and I have YET to get on that thing...
  • I love this thread! It's hard to find the time to exercising but this is one way we can give ourselves an hour a day (more or less depending on your situation)! I have been doing Crossfit for 6 years now and am still managing to go 4 days a week. It helped with my pregnancy weight gain and helped me get back to pre-pregnancy weight! Sure there are days I don't make it due to one thing or the other but I always go back at some point! I have so many friends there it really helps with accountability!

Working out with people makes a huge difference for me! Other times I just want peace and quiet so I just take LO on a long walk and he loves it! As women it's so easy to take on too much and forget about our own needs! I'm proud of everyone on this board for making time to take care of themselves! We are all awesome and deserve to feel that way! Don't define yourself by a number on a scale! Being fit and healthy is measured by how you feel about yourself! ❤️

  • I have been picky about what I eat and working out for two weeks! I am down several inches in my stomach already!! It feels GREAT and it's the motivation I need to keep going! Killing it for an hour or more in Spin bike, weights, and yoga!! We will start evening walks when it is warmer out.
