GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? I love me some mac n cheese or chicken parm!

I'm officially done with my Nuvaring and just waiting for my period. Well, I'm waiting for that fake period that happens during birth control. Anyway, I'm trying to get in the habit of checking my basal body temperature in the mornings, but I'm having some issues. I tend to wake up in the night, and I'm not sure when the best time is to take my temp. This morning, I woke up at 3am from an unsettling dream. (I've always had vivid dreams, and they do often wake me.) My alarm goes off at 5:30am. Would it be better to check my temp when I wake in the middle of th night, since I've already had 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep, or is it better to sleep those next two and a half hours and then temp? I don't know if the "three hours of sleep" rule or the "same time every day rule" is more important.
@furbabymom2007 I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions.... how long have you been taking inositol? Did you get it prescribed or recommended to take it? Have you seen it benefit you at all? I've read about it but never talked to anyone about it so I'm curious your experience with it. Thanks
Don't mind at all! My RE told me to take it last week and I have been taking it all of 4 or 5 days so I don't know about any benefits as of yet (ask me in a week or two!) They gave me a sample and told me to ether order the same stuff or see if my pharmacy carries it (they don't). The one they gave me comes in powder form and rice a day you mix it into a drink and down the hatch it goes. It is completely tasteless so I just mix with water and don't even notice. I just ordered the same one they gave me so there is no question I got the right stuff. The stuff I got is called Ovasitol from a company called theralogix. It just supposed to promote hormone function and improve the way the bodies uses insulin (all good for ovarian function) .
I think the RE mentioned that it can help treat some symptoms of PCOs but it can't be taken with metaformin because both meds Impact insulin levels. I would ask your doc about it if you think it may help!
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, RRLT, GDTPT. I actually took an unplanned break from sexing it up (for fun) last night by falling asleep way early which is great because it's everyday from here until I feel confident I O'd.
R/R/CS: I'm really excited by getting to know the changes in my body that I've literally never paid attention to before. I'm still not great at cervical height or openness but I can definitely tell the shift in how it feels this month. Hopefully my increased hydration gets me true EWCM this month.
For those interested I did really well yesterday in my final "interview." It was more of a follow-up chat than a true formal interview but of course I still treated it like one. At the end I blatantly asked "So, is it safe to say we're moving forward with hiring or do you have other candidates you're considering?" To which he replied, "I'm not sure I can truly answer that but I'll tell you I have no other candidates." Basically, I can't tell you that you have the job without an official offer letter from HR, but as far as I'm concerned you have the job. So I'm excited! Obviously, I still need to wait for the offer letter but I'm just going to stay optimistic. This job would be an amazing career change for me as a teacher and would still allow me to work in the education field (but no more holding my pee! hahaha)
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? My favorite meal is my mother's macaroni and cheese and fried chicken. I've been trying to make it like hers since college. I'm getting there but I think I have a few more years.
@kellybean1988 that recipe looks amazing and I'm definitely going to try it. It's also something DH wouldn't want to eat so more for me!
@lisswastaken I
have never taken anything to increase CM, but am thinking of green tea now in
seeing responses from others…hmm
@mylove071407 Oooh
that spaghetti squash chicken parm sounds interesting! Nice!
@sldp123 Ugh I have
TSH issues too, it is the bane of my existence. Sounds like you have a plan in
place though…FX so hard for you.
@mrsdaddario Yes, I
have always read that CD1 is full on bleeding NOT spotting. I’m sorry you’re feeling BSC…hopefully you
will have answers soon and others here can help out! BTW, your red sauce sounds
amazing.
@wineo929 timing would be pretty bad for me to get KU this
month as well. Sigh. Oh well, it is what it is. We are along for the ride of
BSC with you, so no worries!
@sLass42 OH I like
fish too and that recipe sounds like a winner. Sorry about the flat tire—my DH
is experiencing that today too.
@crazypt2285 So sorry about CD1. That taco salad sounds amazing…
@MonaLisaRalphio
French fries are one of my weaknesses! Thanks for the recipe! (And I might have to try those triscuits)
@thj101 So sorry about DH getting plastered, that can be
frustrating. Hoping you are able to get some rest tonight and maybe leave work
early!
@Steelerfan78 ED sex
wears me out like whoa, so I feel you. But it just means that your timing will
be impeccable!
@kfair001 Oooh
chicken and rice is always good in my book…
@leekat14 I’m so
sorry about not HIO and your schedules. I would be over that too. Thinking of
you!
@Dilynne I’m sorry it
has been so long since HIO. My DH has a very low sex drive and he could
definitely go without for 4 weeks (TBH, I could too, so that works for us except in the TTC arena obv)…I always have to remind
myself that it has NOTHING to do with his desire for me, it’s just his libido.
Hopefully though your DH will be able to get over the pressure aspect and do the
deed. Thinking of you!
@furbabymom2007 I’m
so glad you had a good acupuncture session!! Yay.
@DoctorDonna also
glad you had a good acupuncture session as well! I’m sorry you will be out this month with

@virginiaham so sorry
about your mom’s recent diagnosis. It sounds like you are really helping her
out though!!
@sammajane19 FX for a

@mrsstuessy I want

@QueenSunscreen So
sorry to hear about your in-law relative who is KU. My husband has a cousin in

@Zoey1019 Ha, how
funny, as I’m leaving St Louis to head home on Friday too!! We will also have to take care of
business when I get home on Friday since that’ll be CD 12 (even though I
usually O between CD15-21). Looks like
you’ll be at CD12 at that point too!
Hope your DH has a good trip!
@antoto Sorry I can’t
help you with your OPK question, I don’t use them. I hope you get some

@JediAlly85 There’s my cycle buddy! Sorry about your DS’s doctor’s appointment—I hope
you are able to get some answers. I would guess that the Dr. is just covering
all his bases by recommending a pediatric endocrinologist, and that it’s probably
just genetic since you and your DH are small. FX for good news!
@meilay OH MY GOSH
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR JOB INTERVIEW!! That is huge news!! I am so happy for
you. Can't wait until you get an official offer!!! Also yes I hope you enjoy that burrito bowl recipe…it is AMAZING and
honestly it is so packed with protein and filling ingredients that it just
takes a little to make me full. Yum!

@lisswastaken Another vote for green tea and drinking more water. You could also try/take guaifenesin. @mrsdaddario Even if CD1 isn't clear on CD1 it should be by CD2, which shouldn't have any effect on your treatment. I presume you aren't starting Letrozole until at least CD 3, and the office has to deal with "last-minute" appointments all the time. Try not to worry about it too much. @sammajane19 FX you responded! @MamaMunn I hope you have a good appointment!

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole, Ovidrel, TI, charting, moar fruits and veggies
R/R/CS: Nothing much. DH extended his leave so I get to keep him this week, too
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? Lasagna. I use ricotta and cottage cheese. No meat. So all the carbs, sauce, and cheese. Yuuuum.
Honorable mentions: Biggest IF support sister, sweetest bumpie, most genuine, LFAFer you'd most like to visit, great things come in small packages, pocket sized babe
R/R/CS: I didn't get called in today! So unexpected day off, yay. So I need to make sure I'm productive.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? I don't know that I have a 'favorite.' But I love lots of things. Italian mostly... I'm Italian so I come by it naturally. I should learn how to do eggplant parmeasan, I love that stuff. Anyone have a good recipe? @mrsdaddario I also have a wonderful red sauce family recipe with that base. I need to make some too, my husband loves it. Goes fabulously with spaghetti squash too.
WAYDTGKU: Having red raspberry leaf tea, yoga, and BD.
R/R/CS: Some bonehead hit the front of my car without me knowing and didn't leave a note or anything. I noticed it when I was coming out of Walmart but I don't know if it happened then while I was grocery shopping or on another day and I'm just noticing it now. I'm so pissed and trying not to cry about it for the third time since I saw it.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? I love making stuffed green bell peppers. Use ground turkey, couscous, and a white cheese. Cook each thing separate and then mix all of that together and stuff into the bell peppers. Top with a thin layer of white cheese and put in the oven until the cheese melts and bell peppers soften.
R/R/CS: I'm on vacation and am technically on a week long break from TTC stress + Bumping, but my H is still sleeping and I miss you guys so wanted to say hi!
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? Favorite meal - TACOS. Tacos forever.
R/R/CS: I'm so tired of peeing on OPK already, twice a day since CD10 hoping I'll O earlier this month and don't want to miss it. On a happier note, I'm halfway through my work week and the weather is looking good for the rest of the week!
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? Sourdough pancakes, mac and cheese, tuna noodles casserole are all favorites since I was little.
I bled for 3-ish days after my HSG. I bled for the rest of the day with iui #1 and a tiny bit of spotting the next day. I had a tiny bit of spotting when I wiped off the lube after iui #2. Definitely bring a pad with you for the iui and keep some in you bag for a few days after. @mrsdaddario
@Lecool my favorite part about this picture is the "glitter" billboard behind you hahahah "glitter spot located below." I just almost cried laughing...hoping you are having plenty of fun with H!!!!!!!!!!!

R/R/CS: had my HSG today. Everything looked great! Each test that comes back normal is bittersweet. We're relieved to get normal results but that also means we haven't pinpointed the problem. Also, this passed period was only 6 days with 4 days of spotting which is a big improvement, so maybe things are finding a new normal. Fingers crossed anyway.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? My husband is all about breakfast casserole right now, I make it for him every weekend. In a 13x9 pan, put browned breakfast sausage, a package of shredded cheese, and then pour in 6 eggs, 1/2 cu milk, 1 cup water, and a package of sausage gravy mix, previously mixed together in a bowl. Cube 6 slices of bread and then spread around, then drizzle melted butter. DH can't get enough.
R/R/CS: Not ttc related but I keep seeing posts around the net and then I looked up milestones and I feel like my toddler is behind. Ugh. Will talk to doctor and nurses about it at her 2 year check up and shots.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share??
chicken fettuccine. Lasagna soup (Pinterest this, soooo good) chicken and rice casslerole (again, super good) garlic Parmesan salmon.
awesome responses guys!! thanks for all the input to my question, looks like I'm going to up my water intake and get some green tea! on a side note, I also love rice balls!! delicious!!

Those stuffed peppers sound heavenly!
@Lecool omg I did NOT NOTICE the “ Glitter Spot ” sign until

@LittleChick2 Glad to

@bfhensen So glad
that everything looked great on your HSG, but I understand about it being a bittersweet
result. Fingers crossed for you too!
R/R/CS: Got a positive OPK last night and temps are rising, so I should be ovulating soon! I'm always excited to move onto the TWW--even though once I'm there it feels like slow torture lol.
Kind of weird, but I've been so nauseous today. Idk if it's related to incoming O, but it sucks. Can't wait to get home from work and rest.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? Weirdly, SO and I were just talking about this lol. Mine is probably just a good steak with mashed potatoes or something. I don't have any recipes though, as I'm an awful cook and don't do it often lol.

R/R/CS: Rant - I'm just plain crabby today. I have a bad case of the "I hate everyone's" today. I don't even have a specific reason for it, really. Rave - I went grocery shopping over lunch and I was going to buy a sandwich or something there but then they had sandwich samples so I ended up getting lunch for free!
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? I love seafood so really most things with crab. But if the goal is to share ideas, www.budgetbytes.com is where it's at. I've made a number of things from that site (chipotle chicken soup, Greek chicken, peanut chicken, pastalaya, orzo something chicken) and I've liked them all. Tonight I'm going to make the bbq chicken bowls.

Then I'll stay again tomorrow night, and drive directly to work on Thursday. It's the best we can do given the circumstances, and I'm grateful that I have the ability to take off of work to FWP.
GTKY:I have lots of favorites, but one easy one that is delicious is crockpot chicken and dumplings. Add two packages of Grands Biscuits, pulled apart, in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Yummy!!

WAUDTGKU: prenatals, EPO, OPKs, taking a break from temping

WAYDTGKU: Sex.

Lasagna soup (Pinterest this, soooo good)

@Mylitta I joined the fitness check-in, woohoo!! Hope you enjoyed your day off.
@krisnicole23 I am SO sorry to hear about your car. That is not cool; I’m hoping it is an easy fix. Those stuffed peppers sound heavenly!
@Lecool omg I did NOT NOTICE the “ Glitter Spot ” sign until @Zoey1019 pointed it out, haha! That is amazing and hilarious--good marketing. Looks like you are having a great time, continue to enjoy!
@LittleChick2 Glad to hear the weather sounds like it’s going to be nice for the rest of the week, enjoy!
@bfhensen So glad that everything looked great on your HSG, but I understand about it being a bittersweet result. Fingers crossed for you too!

WAYDTGKU: temp, OPKs, and HIO
CD:12
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Fish Oil, Green Tea, GDTPT, the usual.

R/R/CS: My period was only 3 days! So weird but I'll take it!
GTKY: We have been on a salmon kick lately. I like to put olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, and a lemon slice on it and bake. So simple, but so good.
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Charting, PNV, EPO, B6, Mucinex, OPK, all the filthy hotel sex
R/R/CS: Tonight after work I head over to where OH is working to start all the filthy hotel sex. Tomorrow while he works, I will do whatever I feel like, which is probably hiking somewhere pretty. Then I'll stay again tomorrow night, and drive directly to work on Thursday. It's the best we can do given the circumstances, and I'm grateful that I have the ability to take off of work to FWP.
GTKY: I have lots of favorites, but one easy one that is delicious is crockpot chicken and dumplings. All you have to do it cut up an onion, put it in the bottom, add four chicken breasts, two cans of cream of chicken soup, and water to cover. Cook on high for four + hours. Add two packages of Grands Biscuits, pulled apart, in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Yummy!!

Hi, I'm new here! I just posted on the intro board and now this is my first post in the WTO.
Month/Cycle: 1/1 TTCAL
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, HIO ED starting today
R/R/CS: Nothing right now. I'm just hoping I will O soon and have a normal cycle after my MC.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? I can't think of a specific favorite meal but I like anything with noodles or potatoes.
Month/Cycle: 1
CD: -2 most likely, lol
WAYDTGKU: Going to start with PNV, lots of sex and maybe some CM checking . At least for the first couple months since I am just coming off of birth control
R/R/CS: Rant: I currently have a stomach bug, which wouldn't irritate me so much except that I seem to get sick literally every month with SOMETHING. I actually still have a muscle tear from the last illness, which included violent coughing. I feel like a senior citizen.
GTKY: What's your Favorite meal? Do you have a recipe to share?? Honestly, I have the palate of a 4 year old, so plain old spaghetti and tomato sauce is my favourite *sheepish look*
