Animal? I don't even know how to answer this... I like both cats and dogs as pets, and in the wild I love ducks and sea otters.
Season? Hmmm... Still probably summer, but I do really like fall as well.
Holiday? Christmas. It's not really religious for me, but I have so many good childhood memories surrounding that time of year, and it just always makes me happy.
Color? Blue. Any shade, but light blue is my favorite of the shades.
Day of the week? Sunday Funday. Though I really need to talk my H into reinstating that...
Flower? I really like blue hydrangeas (though never have any in the house because they are poisonous to cats) and stephanotis. Both were in my wedding bouquet.

Season? Fall - Growing up in New England I absolutely love the Fall. Apple cider donuts, pumpkin everything, apple picking and of course the foliage! I wish it was as great here in Alberta, but I still love that time of year.
Holiday? Thanksgiving- Give me all the food!
Color? Purple
Day of the week? Sunday- Being a wedding planner Sundays are my Fridays/Saturdays.
Season? Summer & Fall. Being a teacher it's always been summer but this is my last year teaching!
Holiday? Christmas & Halloween. 4th of July is a close 3rd - the town shoots fireworks off on the high school field which is directly across the street from my house so we always have a big party.
Color? Blue - any shade but my favorite is navy blue.
Animal? I have two. One is the Canadian Lynx, and the other is any parrot. We have six parrots (four species - galah, green cheek conure, cockatiel, Quaker) and they are just so intelligent and playful and wonderful.
Season? Fall. Specifically after the wasps go to ground. I loathe wasps. Plus, all the fantastic harvest food.
Holiday? Samhain (October 31.) The turning of the wheel of the year. It always feels like a renewal. Plus it's in the fall which, as I said above, is my favourite season.
Colour? Bright, bright green.
Day of the week? Depends on what my schedule is like!
Flower? Dandelions. Doesn't matter what you do to them, they come back, happy-looking as ever. They provide endless joy to little kids. They're edible (my birds love the greens) and nigh on indestructible.
(Fawkes, Hedwig, and Cinnamon Bun. Fawkes and Hedwig are yellow-sided green cheek conures and CB is a Cinnamon mutation, hence the name.) (Gallifrey, the galah/rose-breasted cockatoo, and B For, my 19 year old cockatiel. Gallifrey came to us as a self-mutilator six months ago and he's only just starting to let his belly feathers grow in.)
Day of the week? Monday (I feel like I need to explain this because people always think I'm crazy when I say I like Mondays) I'm bi polar so I do better on days I have a schedule. I always get the best work done on Monday and I'm happy to be back at work (I love my job)
Day of the week? Thursday. The anticipation of the weekend is always exciting. I also work late on Friday so I can stay up late on thursday night. Partay
Animal? Owls. I had quite the collection, starting back in middle school. And then they became trendy and I was waaay ahead of the game.
Season? Summer - love the heat! We'll see if that changes when I am 6 months pregnant.
Holiday? Christmas Eve. It's so much more low key than Christmas day and there's all the anticipation for tomorrow. And my favorite traditions are things just my DH and I do on Christmas Eve before the extended family madness of the next day.
Color? Green. Navy blue and gray are also high up there - pretty much my entire wardrobe is in these colors. They were my school's colors and it really stuck with me.
Day of the week? Friday
Flower? Daffodils, especially the frilly, fancy ones.
Animal? Ugh, this is so hard. I love all animals. At home we have cats, but we also are dog people. Outside of pets, maybe I'd say my favorite animal is the fox.
Season? Summer and Fall
Holiday? I'd say Christmas, but the day of is always so hectic. So I'd say the season of Christmas and the days leading up to it, the shopping and the songs and the baked goods.
Animal: It's really hard for me to choose! I guess I'll say dog because I have one, but I also love eagles, loons, bears, moose, penguins, owls, goats, lemurs, .................................................
Season: Fall. All of our major life events seem to happen in the Fall. This baby will be part of the pattern, haha
Holiday: I really like Thanksgiving.

@KilgraveMadeMeDoIt you're birds are beautiful. Gallifrey is sooooo pretty I've never seen a cockatoo those colors. Not that I'm really familiar with birds anyway. Out of curiosity how do you deal with the self mutilation? Give him more attention? Sorry if this is an innapropriate question! My aunt had a cockatiel for 15 years I believe. She spent so much time working with him and he was so much fun and a joy to be around.
@jstinkz When we got him, he was living in a cage with no toys, nothing for climbing, just a short perch and two food dishes on the floor. No gyms or anything, nothing for shredding. Cockatoos are about the equivalent to human toddlers cognitively, and so lack of stimulation is a huge, huge problem for them and usually turn to self-destructive behaviour in those cases. Imagine a three year old locked in an empty room all day, every day, with food pushed under the door. It's torture.
Often what happens with cockatoos is that they are calm and sweet babies for their first year or two, then they hit puberty and become territorial and aggressive. Lots of people don't know how to handle that (particularly the biting - this bird can generate enough force to break fingers) and so the bird ends up rehomed or locked up and ignored.
Gallifrey is five, so we suspect that's sort of his story but we don't really know all of his history for sure. The way to treat self-mutilation is to give them a LOT to do, particularly preening-type toys (in case their plucking started as overpreening, which is common) and stuff to shred to direct their destructive tendencies towards. Plus lots of love, attention, and a very good diet. When we are home, the birds are usually out. As you can tell from the photos, we have gyms set up for them to play on. They're also allowed on the couch, and they spend a lot of time on us of course.
He's gradually getting better although he's more aggressive towards me for reasons we don't really know but are probably related to his past experiences (they may hold grudges against people who look like someone who treated them badly.) We're working on it. The plucking is very, very slow to improve. It can take years. Prozac is a treatment possibility as well (yes, that prozac) but we're not really intending to look into that for quite a while yet.
