Drugs and alcohol

So my ds's father "fiance" won't stop bringing drugs around my home and then looks me in the eye and lies about it. It's been going on since I was pregnant. Should I just be done with him? He will not stop lying! I'm at my wit's end and heartbroken and I deserve better. Just don't know what to do anymore. And trying to recover from ppd makes the whole thing harder....

    He must have a serious problem to be lying to you but he has to decide that for himself. Sorry you're going thru this

    Being addicted to drugs is hard. You don't think of anything else other than getting that high and will do anything to get there. Addicts will only get help if they want to get it. Not before or after. It has to completely be up to them. Also I don't want to pry but what drugs do you suspect he's taking? Definitely kick him out. He needs to open his eyes. That is not safe for your DS to be around. He's not safe for your DS or you to be around.

    All of the PPs.  Do you have a good support network? Friends or family close to you? Let them help you, especially if you feel overwhelmed.

    Tell him he can't come around and be completely honest. Don't feel bad about it either. I tell my dad when he relapses that I can't be around him like that. We have to take care of ourselves and our little ones first.

    You can't risk it, especially exposing your LO to them and being raised to think that they're okay! Definitive get rid of him- if not for you then for your kid

    Recently my DH has been drinking more and not helping around the house with DD because of it. Honestly, I am at MY wit's end. I don't know how you deal with it. I'm about to kick his @ss to the curb.

    I'd be calling the police, filing reports, and having that druggy behind bars.  Do you really want you child growing up with that as an influence in their very impressionable lives? I lived that childhood and I wish someone would have given a shit that it was happening and given me a better cleaner home perhaps away from both of them.
