Gah I'm in serious need of this kind of enthusiasm. I'm kinda hoping it's another girl so that all I'll have to do is wash DD's nb things and stick them in a dresser in the guest room. I have just no energy or desire to do any baby preparation this pregnancy.
I'm totally with you! Hubby wants his boy and like no! We have everything we need for a girl!
@Lilwonder - Is that one of the RH gliders? For my little boy's nursery, we got a pair with an ottoman so that when they are no longer needed in a nursery, they can be used as regular armchairs somewhere else in the house. Love them!
Im totally obsessed with this outfit. My little girl will definitely have a similar one in her closet(: Also, I love this nursery but would do pink for this one
@SpiritYell0905 I'd love to help! There are free apps you can download for your phone (or you might have one on it already) that you can use to record at your next appointment. If you send me the file, I can pull it into the audio editing program I use for voiceover, take a screenshot, and then make the background clear in Adobe Illustrator so you can put it over a pre-existing design or give it to a designer. It would take me less than 5 min to do so I'd be happy to do it for free.
@Katemr1146 I am obsessed with that swaddle!!! SO CUTE! @whitneyf1 I just LOVE those prints and that nursery I like the neutral colors I think it is very calming!

@SpiritYell0905 I have droid and I think this came with my phone but it's called "Voice Recording." Really, any memo/recording app will do (just don't forget to save it!) I actually ended up with a surprise visit to the doctor today due to some sudden severe cramping. Pain subsided after 10-15 min, baby's doing great, and there was no bleeding but the reason I bring it up is because they did both a sonogram as well as an ultrasound and for the sonogram, there was actually a big visual of the heartbeat audio file as well as getting to hear it. So you might just be able to snap a picture instead of having to record the audio. Of course, I'm definitely recording the audio as well at my official next appointment in two weeks--they just caught me by surprise and I was just happy to see the little guy/girl was doing fine.
@Bad10Wolf I am totally onboard with the geek baby stuff too but am going the Miyazaki route. There are some seriously adorable My Neighbor Totoro nurseries out there and so much cute baby gear to match!! Also this totally unrelated, totally unnecessary, but totally adorable panda lamp:

We live in a pretty rural area, and I told DH I wanted to do a furry woodland creatures nursery theme. I stumbled upon this collection, and promptly registered for the entire thing! So freaking cute!!!

I am so glad I opened this thread! I have butterflies thinking about all the tiny baby things!!
Have you ladies heard of Little Unicorn? I can't even fathom spending $50 on a blanket, but when we find out if this babe is a boy or a girl, I'm totally getting one of these:
These were one of my hands-down favorite baby items!! Not only are they darling, but super functional, too! They are easy to blindly grab and find in the night or car and the weight of the stuffy keeps them in baby's mouth better. Get a couple!
Many daughter took these pacifiers easily, but I've knows friends who have "encouraged" their babies to like particular brands by dipping them in sugar water (were nurses so we use sucrose at work a lot!) or breast milk.

@shamrocandroll, that's the set we got for DD's room before she was born. 4.5 years later I still love it!

The cuteness is just too much to handle. I don't want too much pink, frilly stuff, but I will take beachy Rompers all day!!!
