I spoke to soon about not getting sick. Threw up in the waiting area of my OB's office this morning. Never been so excited/embarrassed at the same time before.

Oh sweet relief.

1. I slept like crap last night.
2. I woke up and threw up 4 times before getting to work (as a a lifeguard ) then threw up again 2 more times at work and started freaking out because I felt shaky and dehydrated. I was frustrated and angry with myself because I want to be strong and not have to go to the hospital like my last pregnancy so I started crying. But I have a great boss that helped calm me down. Still feel like crap though.

@goldensnitch731 You are strong. You are doing the best that you can, not just being 'woe is me, I am sick'. You are fighting your own body, and making the effort to take care of yourself. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Also, don't feel bad about having to go to the hospital for help. Not every physical body is able to handle things the same. As long as you are taking care of yourself and LO as best as possible you are doing wonderful.

Oh, how could I forget!

I have been unable to access my mailbox at home for the past week. It feels like there's something stuck and I can't get the key in. Last time this happened DH was able to fix it. Now, nothing works. So I texted my landlord and she gave me Property Management's number. They told me I had to call the Post Office. Called them, and I have to GO DOWN TO THE POST OFFICE to get it resolved. Waited in line to speak to the supervisor, and she tells me they'll hold my mail for now so I can pick it up there starting tomorrow afternoon, BUT I have to pay $25 for them to come out and replace the lock. Why do I have to pay to fix YOUR crummy mailbox? Oh, and the person is on vacation this week, so someone will fix it next Wednesday. So add daily trips to the Post Office when I'm already exhausted. I'd say screw it, but I just ordered AncestryDNA, and I am NOT waiting a day longer than I have to to get my hands on that

@goldensnitch731 - I read your first sentence as "I slept like a crab last night." And I found myself very intrigued! What is this crab-sleeping you discuss? Is it recommended for pregnancy? Now I'm just disappointed that crab-sleeping isn't a thing.

So I'm at work with a TERRIBLE headache. I ended up grabbing an honest tea and diluting half of it with water. I am sipping out of the bottle with a straw and my co-worker (who knows Im pregnant) goes "Ice tea when you're pregnant. Isn't that bad for the baby?" NO F*CK OFF!!!

DH is going out of town for a work trip this week, so DD and the dog and I are going to spend those days at my parents house.

MIL and FIL live several minutes from my parents and she is expecting lots of visits and activities and fun and picnics (gag) with me and DD. The in-laws don't know that I'm KU so I can't tell her why I don't want to spend 5 hours with her and DD at an RV show (what?!).

Luckily my parents know and will be letting me rest as much as I can because they're awesome. Mil and I have a strange relationship and I just don't have the energy to keep her entertained. Boo hooooo

I'm so damn tired, of being tired. I use to be the one always up before DH on the weekends, now I usually wake up when he's getting in the shower. The weekends usually consist of at least an hour nap. I fall asleep at like 8pm, wake up at like 10, then back to sleep until DH gets home from work. We work opposite schedules, so our time together is limited, and I'm always falling asleep on the couch on his days off at like 8pm. I could get 8 solid hours of sleep, and sill be exhausted when my alarm goes off at 6am. Ugh. Over it.

Two toddlers for sale.

I'm so over parenting today. It's been non-stop fighting, drama and whining all damn day. If they're acting like this at 2 and 3 I can't even imagine how awful the teenage years are going to be. If this baby turns out to be a third girl I might send it back.

I'm adding to my earlier ones. My OB practice are now at the top of my list. I had my first app scheduled for 3:30 today. I'm going to be about 3 minutes late, so I call to let them know. The receptionist 'well, we can't see you then. If your appointment was scheduled for 3:30 then you should have been here at 3:15 to make sure. We will have to reschedule you.'

@Kate08Young - wow! Most folks would have walked in without a courtesy call and they'd have been all NBD about it.

Considering most offices make you wait 20-60 minutes after your appointment to actually be seen, I wouldn't have even called. I can't believe they made you reschedule.

I just have to say this is maybe the best thread ever. I'm slowly beginning to accept that I am indeed pregnant and after working so damn hard to get pregnant I feel like such a miserable bastard for being 1. A crazy rage filled lunatic who has recently taken to giving people that cut me off in traffic the bird. 2. A sudden complete insomniac who wants to sleep at her desk all day long then sits wide awake all night long and whines to her husband that she can't sleep - 3. Tired, hungry, or nauseous - omg - so head on.

Its so great to know I'm not alone!!!

@DiFazette @zubenescamali It is a new practice, as our insurance no longer works with the hospital 2 blocks from my house. So since they are the only practice that is 'close' and takes the districts insurance they now have close to 40 new patiences since April 1st. So they can be jerks.
