Happiness Thread *Week of 4/24*

I have been sick all week but feel like new person today! Actually have energy & am sitting outside on a patio enjoying some live music currently. It's a good day!

    My husband unexpectedly got off from work today, so we got to go to a local BBQ festival today. It was beautiful outside, and baby obviously likes chicken BBQ, because I felt lots of rolls while we were sitting there :)

    DH wanted to chill for his birthday.  We ordered a bunch of wings for lunch and are piggin' out. :d

    DH and I have been going through a major dry spell lately (obviously all due to me being sick, tired, lazy, etc.). But, we did the deed twice over the weekend and I'm in such a good mood this morning. So nice to feel close to him again. Yay second trimester!

    Glad others are having sexy time again too! I have been feeling SOOO much better, and actually wanted sex yesterday and ended up sneaking off to the bedroom twice :) I was missing that connection with FI. He is in a great mood today, which definitely puts me in a great mood.

    @LGW2015 Happy (late) birthday!! That cake looks absolutely phenomenal!! Waffles make me so happy these days...I can't even fathom a waffle CAKE! DH gets major points for that one. Hope it was as delicious as it looked & that you thoroughly enjoyed!

    I've been staying away from this thread because I've been feeling like a miserable sack of crap for 13 weeks or so. But you know, it's a beautiful day out today. It's partly cloudy, 75 degrees, there's a light breeze like it's going to rain later, I'm not nauseous, and I scored in the 93rd percentile on my OB exit exam yesterday.     The weather is lovely and DS is actually listening when we go out front and doesn't try to bolt into the road so we get to go out more (The backyard is a mess from begin a foreclosure and we are working through the weeds and trash slowly) without him having to fight elementary school kids for a swing at the park.

    We are celebrating a good friend's wedding this weekend. They had a destination wedding and I wasn't able to go (saving my time off for maternity leave), so I can't wait to celebrate such a sweet couple! <3

    This is their big reception a month later, I guess you would say.
