On Thursday morning I woke up and went pee like usual, but when I wiped there was brown blood on the toilet paper. Initially I was not worried because I know brown blood is old blood and many women spot earl in pregnancy. I put on a liner and went on with my morning. By the time I arrived At school(I'm a teacher) there were several drops of brown blood on the liner. I decided to call my dr. The nurse called me and said well if you're spotting brown it'll probably turn red and get heavy indicating a miscarriage. She said I was high risk for a miscarriage now and that I couldn't lift, have sex, exercise, etc. so naturally I was hysterical and had to go home from school. As the day went on the spotting stopped. I never had cramps or anything and the blood was brown and got darker and today it was not blood but brown discharge(tmi, yuck). So my question is has that ever happened to you in previous pregnancies and what was your outcome? It never happened when I was pregnant with DD, but that nurse hs me freaking out!
Re: STM has this ever happened to you?
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know it can be incredibly nerve wrecking, especially if your provider isn't providing compassionate guidance. I hope everything turns out well for you.
