I may or may not have booked a vet appt for our dog on Wednesday because DH had LO and isn't getting anything done on his days home with her. It totally worked! I got home from work and he said "I don't know how you do this?!"
I am terrified to move LO to her crib to sleep at night because she sleeps so well in her rock- n-play (10 hours). So I may have put it off for 12 weeks now! #Iwanttosleepgoodeverynight
Had to leave baby at home with hubby for a few hours. Came home house was in complete disarray. According to my FIL I need to train hubby on dealing with a baby. GREAT I have 2 kids and a dog
I'm trying to save money so I can extend my leave til DD's daycare starts, but that new Chic-Fil-A frosted coffee has me spending like every other day... not to mention, I've been trying to avoid dairy for her tummy's sake. #fail
I will be away from DD for the first time this coming Tuesday as I have to go into the office for a meeting. I got a secret thrill out of telling DH that he will have to watch DD all by himself.
After DD has been changed and fed is when visitors get to hold her. She will get fussy when she is ready for her pacifier, but at first she acts like she doesnt want it. My confession is that I let them think she just wants me to hold her, when its really thay they didnt hold her pacifier long enough for her to take it. "yep, she must just want her mommy"
I am 27, DH is 26. We have been married since September 28, 2013. We had our first child, Zoey, February 7, 2016.
I have been a really crappy mom to DD1 today (2.5). I'm sick and she's been annoying the heck out of me with her whining, not listening, banging toys, etc. I have snapped at her numerous times. I do feel bad, but why oh why does she have to be so annoying sometimes??
There are sprays of breastmilk on my couch...my floor...probably on my bed....on his crib. And I really can't be bothered to clean it up.
Yep. The whole house is covered. I didn't have this problem (talent?) with my first. My confession is I think it's hilarious I can shoot it across the room. I don't even try to stop it when he pops off during letdown... Sometimes I see how far I can get. I'd say I wipe it up about 5% of the time. And that 5% is mostly when it's on the baby's face.
We just cleaned our old house (yay for being done moving) and half way through DH ended up staying outside talking to the neighbors. I got pissed and kept cleaning til it was done. I also decided while cleaning that after the kids are in bed tonight I'll tell DH because I had to do that he needs to get up with baby in the morning and take him downstairs so I can sleep in. The bad part about that is that DH will do it happily anyway so it's not really "getting back at him" Ugh
We had friends over tonight for a cookout and a few beers and I secretly wished I could just let loose and have a few MORE beers and not worry about waking up in the middle of the night... I wouldn't change being a mommy for anything in the world, but sometimes I do miss normal, carefree life
