I'm 5dpiui and 6dpt my test is negative now so the trigger is out of my system. I've been so tired I can't stay awake for longer then an hour without needing a nap, my boobs are super sore since 3dpiui, and I'm still crampy like period cramps since before the iui. I'm on progesterone suppositories and estrace. I'm testing everyday until blood work on the 2nd

Hi ladies!

I've been super busy at work (and trying to stay busy at home) so I haven't been on much this week. I'm so sorry to hear about all the BFNs

I'll be crossing my fingers for your next round!!!! And baby dust to everyone still in the TWW.

I have my CD 12 US Sunday. My follies are usually ready to trigger that day for a CD 14 IUI. And then the real waiting begins. The good news is that I'm in my final 2 weeks of my semester which means term papers and finals to keep me distracted.

Hoping to hear about some BFPs when I come back on Monday!

@coocoo4u I know it seems pretty strange to get on birth control when my RE first told me that I was like WHAT?!!! I guess it is pretty common. I believe it is so they can suppress my ovaries and prevent me from ovulating on my own.

@chicandbubbly thanks for the info, it makes sense. Hopefully, successful for u. One or two more iuis and I may have to talk my husband into ivf....he's not too keen on the process. ......yet

I took a test today (10dpt) and there was still a faint line so the trigger is almost out of my system. I've had some killer boobs these past few days though so I'm hoping the line darkens up!

AFM, 12dpo and my test was positive this morning. Its faint, but its hanging on! Beta will be Monday if my tests are still positive.

5th IUI was saturday 4-16. Progesterone level check today came back at 35.2. I am on progesterone injections. Last month while on injections it was only 16. They want over 30 to show ovulation while on injections. Hoping this is our month. May 2nd is hcg blood test.

@tiffavis12 - What was the deciding factor for going on progesterone injections in your situation? My cd21 progesterone level was 9.5, and I'm curious about my OBs decision to not change anything this cycle.

The end of the 2WW is near, I test Sunday AM. Not having much hope this cycle - had pink spotting yesterday (11 days PIUI) and some brown spotting today. While I would love to think it's later implantation bleeding I think I know in my heart it's the start of AF. Keeping my FX though and thinking of all of you!

@Monica54321 I have a history of low progesterone my doctors like to see the number over 16 on a medicated cycle in January I was on progesterone suppositories I got pregnant but the same day I got my HCG drawn my progesterone had dropped from earlier in the cycle so they started me on progesterone injections that cycle ended as a chemical pregnancy since I do injections 2 days after my IUI instead of having to do the suppositories and then go on injections later. Most doctors say over 5 is ovulation a better ovulation is over 10 medicated over 16

@Lin&say THANKS bunches...... I really think I'm outta the race this cycle. Hubby just reminded me that af came 4 days late last cycle after iui due to femara. She's due Sunday

(nervous ) So, I may need to poas afterall. I've been on prenatals, eating clean and exercising for the past 3 yrs ttc...so I should be ok either way. I just think he wants to know for sure

but I must say it wasn't a huge bummer. I think my refusal to do back to back testing helped me emotionally *shruggs* I felt more relaxed. Still sad, just not as stressed about it. WELP....on to May...June.....July....smh

I just came back from my ultrasound. IUI tomorrow she said she doesn't think my right tube is blocked and I have 4 follicles I think 2 on each side. I always forget sizes I know one is 29mm. If this cycle doesn't work then I will be getting an HSG....fingers crossed we won't need it

I'll likely have to sit out next month too while getting my thyroid under control (more waiting, yayy), but crossing my fingers that June we can try a second IUI. In the mean time I'm trying to get back into a good exercise routine and eating healthier. Has anyone else ready It Starts with the Egg by Rebecca Fett? I just read it and thought it was pretty interesting (skipped a few sections that didn't apply to me though). Good luck to everyone next month and hoping I won't see any of you by June!

@lin&say I just had my IUI yesterday so I'm not testing until 5/11.

I just wanted to share my very frustrating story. The clinic I go to has multiple offices, but only one is open on the weekends. I had to go there for my day 12 monitoring on Sunday. My RE wasn't on that day and the new doctor got me in a panic. I had 3 follies (19mm, 18mm, 17mm) and a few slightly smaller. He begins to tell me about how big my chance is for multiples and that none of these follies are ready for trigger and that I needed to return to my regular doctor the next day for a repeat US and BW. I almost lost it in the office because I know my regular RE would have triggered me. I mean they're the perfect size for trigger - and mine usually grow 2mm per day after I finish clomid. So I'm thinking "Has my regular doctor been doing this wrong these past 4 rounds?!" I was upset all day. I get my afternoon call from the nurse with my bw results and she tells me to trigger! I'm like... WHAT IS GOING ON?! WHY ISN'T EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE?! So I trigger because I didn't want to miss my ovulation and I go in yesterday for the IUI with my regular RE. He tells me that he actually looked at my scans from home that day and he is the one that made the call to trigger. THANK GOD! He said waiting any longer and my smaller follies may have caught up and then I would have to cancel or be octomom

I just thought this was incredibly frustrating. I mean we're all stressed enough and then this new idiot doctor wants to send me in a panic.

But now I'm in my TWW. We likely had 3 follies and 30 million sperm with 93% motility post-wash. But we had 99 million last time and nothing happened so I'm not getting my hopes up. What I am doing is not worrying so much about what I can and can't do. I feel like I stress myself out making sure I don't have coffee or caffeine, making sure I get to the acupuncturist every week, making sure I do yoga every day, making sure I'm eating my pineapple. So, I'm just going to have a coffee if I want it. Skip a day of yoga if I don't feel like it. Doing everything right the first four times didn't work so I'm inclined to believe that none of that makes any difference and it will happen when it wants to happen. So I'm focusing on my final two weeks of school, doing some spring cleaning, and doing some home improvement projects. Hopefully this is my month!

Sorry for the long post! Fx for everyone still in their TWW!!! We need some BFPs in this group!

Im sorry to all the ladies who got AF praying next month is the month for you guys!!!

AFM I went in for another US & BW only to find that based off of US it's a tough call as to what they want to do

they said I could come in first thing tomorrow am for IUI or they can do IUI today without the BW results....I decided that today is the day I'm not able to skip work again (late doesn't work for my job as I'm the only Tech and I have patients scheduled). On this day last year I lost my poppop, it was the first major death I've had to deal with and all week I've felt his presence so I decided today is now going to be a happy memory he's giving me and that this time I'm going to conceive. Yes I truly believe in signs and there have just been too many to ignore so I'm hoping I'm making the right choice in doing the IUI today

depending on BW I might have to have another IUI but I can schedule it after work.

Why can't we all get our BFP now?!

afm, temp took a nosedive this morning and started spotting so it looks like this month was a bust for me too. I am so tired of this process and feeling so angry and bitter

@NurseTMD85 It is going fine thank you! Nothing much happening right now. I am on birth control for about a month. We set up the schedule so it would happen a few days later then we originally planned because we are having guests memorial day weekend and obv didn't want to do any egg retrieval then. So for four days next week I stop the pill then resume until May 20th.

Friday I go in for a hysteroscopy :0. I am a little nervous about that as it is my first one. Then next week we have our injection class. Definitely a little overwhelmed at this point but I am taking it day by day!

I am 11dpiui and just waiting around for sat so I can take an hpt and beta test. This is iui#4 but first time on injectables and sadly i responded worse than clomid

if this is another bfn we will consider another round of iui + injectables bc if i responded this badly that is a clear sign of possibilities of eggs with ivf rather save the time and money if chances are really low. GL to everyone and their IUIs this month!!!

AF started today womp womp...CD1 for me. Will take on a 5th IUI in May on injectables hoping to get dosages right for better outcome before our move to ivf.

beta done yesterday and its negative. won't get in a cycle in may as i dont go back to see the dr until the 27th that's the earliest appointment I could get. did letrozole 5mg this cycle only had one follicle. going to talk about adding injections into the mix. for those of you on injections also which have you tried?

I can't believe you have to wait almost a month for another appointment!!! My doctor just has me refill my meds and come in on CD3 to start the next round. That's terrible that you have wait so long.

@sweetscoop I'm so sorry! Can you call your office and see if they can give you a protocol over the phone? Im only on IUI #2 but we already knew what the plan would be if #1 failed, I called the day I got AF and they confirmed the plan that I already discussed with my RE and filled my Rx.

@NurseTMD85 my darn office won't do a beta until I get a + HPT so in my head I'm *trying* to hold out until 14dpiui which will be 5/11...my husband and bestie are already doubting that I will last til then lol

it's protocol I have to wait 22 days in between iui's. if not I pay out of pocket and the government won't pay for the cycle (canada) so its only a few more days longer
