After my u/s last week (where we got to see the HB!), my spotting increased a lot. It went from a small amount every 2-3 days, to having some on my panty liner pretty much every time I go to the bathroom (thankfully still brown, though). So the doctor's office had me come back today and, everything still looks good. HB was 154 (it was 132 last week). I am 7w4d based on ovulation but the u/s tech thought I was measuring closer to 8 weeks.
It's been a very nerve-wracking couple of weeks with all this spotting. The u/s tech still couldn't find a reason for it and said I may just be one of those women who have spotting throughout the pregnancy. The mixture of relief from the u/s mixed with frustration from having no reason for the spotting did make me tear up at the end (embarrassingly). Luckily the u/s tech was such a sweetheart.
I felt a bit ridiculous being back there again. I've been to the office 5 times since I found out I was pregnant and have had 3 ultrasounds. The u/s tech said I probably knew the office as well as her at this point! But I was very happy for the reassurance, and everyone at the office has been so incredibly supportive.
I switched OB/GYNS when I learned my old one doesn't deliver at the hospital where I want to be. And I haven't even met with my new doctor yet. I have that appointment a week from today.
Sorry for the long post! I guess I needed to vent a bit about things so far.
Had another u/s today and saw the heartbeat...120! Measuring 6 weeks 2 days.

So nerve-wracking.Glad the u/ses have gone well and your Ob's office is supportive. FX the spotting stops so you can relax a bit.
I'm excited to hear how all these appointments go.
I just had my first appointment! Confirmed my pregnancy; the doctor said it was a strong positive! We're not doing an ultrasound until May 12th, and the baby should have a heartbeat by then. I got a lot of great info and feel really at ease. Good luck to everyone getting their U/S today!
I have my first U/S tomorrow. This will be my dating U/S! I can't wait! My sister is expecting as well and had hers two weeks ago, and she got to hear the heartbeat! I hope I get to hear it tomorrow.
I have my confirmation appt Wednesday morning. I'm hoping for an ultrasound, as I had one at my confirmation appt 6 yrs ago. I'm so excited. By my calculations, I'll be 6w6d.
U/S went perfectly. Baby measure 7w1d (+/- 1) which puts me Dec 4th due date now (instead of Dec 2nd) We saw the HB! Doctor is very optimistic. He said I could back for another one next week and then my first real OB appt. the following! I feel like a live in the dr's office. He is awesome.

I had my third u/s today. Baby is measuring exactly on track (7w1d) and the heart rate was 136. The second sac that we saw at my two prior u/s is now entirely gone and my RE is calling it a vanishing twin since my betas were so ridiculously high. Next appt with my RE is Monday and then it's back to my OB the following week!

My first appointment was this morning. DH had to work so my mom came with me. They estimated me at 8w3d, but the little stinker measured 6w4d! Too early to hear the heartbeat, but boy could I see it! Heartbeat was measured at 117bpm! Go little one, go! I sent DH a picture of the ultrasound and he was in a meeting with his boss when he got it. His boss saw it and got all excited, yelled at him for coming in, and sent him home to spend the rest of the day with me

My first doc appointment isn't for a few more weeks, however tonight DH and I are going to a new parent class put on at the doc office! We'll talk about what to expect with the multiple appointments, nutrition information, how to get ahold of ppl in the office, etc. Hope it turns out to be worthwhile!
I have my third round of blood work booked for Friday with my fertility clinic to make sure my beta levels are rising. I'm 5 weeks today and we found out that we were pregnant just before 4 weeks. So much waiting when you find out so early! I'm so anxious to have an ultrasound booked so that we can hear a heartbeat.
Had my first U/S today! It was a success. Saw baby and the heartbeat! Due date has changed to December 8th - which is my Birthday!
My due date is dec 8th as well and my bday is Dec 7th! Had my 1st appt today and u/s. I feel at ease since seeing a little fluttering heart
My birthday is the 8th too! DH keeps saying the baby will be born on my birthday, but I think he's holding out hope he/she will wait a week and be born on his birthday, which is the 16th. So many December birthdays!

Had my first appt today, only expecting to meet with the OB for a quick consult and pelvic exam...the U/S room was empty and she said "I'm not going to make you wait another week....let's go now...."
Saw & heard the heartbeat, she said everything looks great, and I'm measuring 7 weeks! Of course I burst into tears and can't stop looking at the pictures. DH is actually out of the country for 2 months but he woke up early to Skype and I surprised him with the U/S pics!
(After a previous blighted ovum, I'm thankful my OB decided not to wait!)
She did not tell me bpm, or even a due date since it was a very informal and unexpected sono....but based on her estimate of 7 weeks, that'd give me December 6th, which matches up better with my O date and not my LMP. I don't see her again for 4 weeks.
Just got back from the RE and we got to see the heartbeat for the first time! They don't measure it, but he guessed that it was around 120 and "strong". I am also measuring 4 days ahead so my EDD may change.

We had our first u/s this week. I was 5w6d and we were shocked to find out we're having twins! We were able to see the fluttering of both heartbeats. Baby A was at 113 and Baby B was at 112. They were both measuring at 6w0d, so our new due date is Dec 13th, but we definitely won't go that long.
@JustCharThis is precisely what happened to us! I was 6+4 based on my LMP. But we had strong heartbeats for both. The first measuring 6+5 and the second measuring 6+1. I go back tomorrow for some additional blood work and another US with my new OB office (regular doc didn't feel comfortable with twins and referred me!). Congrats to you. I'm sure it will be an adventure!
I had my first appointment today and it went well! I've had an eptopic pregnancy in the past so my OB did the ultrasound first and I was measuring 6w5d (should be 7w1d) with a great heartbeat. My OB was really excited and kept my EDD at 12/8. I go back in 3 weeks for a bunch of blood work etc.
@Gizmo1231 No, twins don't run in my family or my husbands. We have been trying to have a child for almost two years. We did 8 cycles of Clomid and then asked to be referred to an infertility specialist. We actually got pregnant on our own on the first cycle we were off clomid!
@katemunion We don't have our next appointment until May 16th. It seems like an eternity until we'll get to see the babies again! How are you doing with morning sickness and other fun symptoms?
@lrg14I appreciate your story with your recent appointments, and don't feel that going in so many times is a bad thing!
What go to me was the spotting. I'm currently 6w4d and have had brown spotting (only when I wipe, rarely on my underwear) for 2 weeks now. But, sometimes it is there and sometimes it is not. Sometimes it's very little and sometimes it's more.
I don't have my first appointment until June 3 (SO far away), but I am debating calling and seeing if I can get in to just get the spotting checked. This is my first, so I don't know what to expect. Glad to hear that they seem to think brown spotting is normal and that some women have it happen with no reason.

@justchar I had an appointment today. Nothing major just blood work and general intake at the specialist my doc referred me to. I'm doing pretty good so far with symptoms (knocking on wood) I've been super tired with some major heartburn and I'm breaking out like a teenager but no real ms as of yet. I'm sure that will change but for now I'll take it! I don't go back now until 5/26 and that is going to be a hard wait!! How about you? Symptoms okay??
@justchar Congrats on the twins! One of my friends just found out that she's having twins... due in October. And the crazy part, she is a twin! Her sister also has a set of twins, ha. They didn't find out until her 12-week appointment, which is when they first saw her.

I had my first appointment Tuesday. I was bleeding and we thought I was having a m/c but my numbers about doubled from Tuesday to Thursday, although they are pretty low. They ordered a bunch of other tests because of previous losses so I will have the results from those next week.
I went in Monday to have my blood drawn. It was 365 after being around 205 on Friday, the doctor was not happy with this and so she had me come back today. I have been so stressed out all week about it. Monday I started having very light brown spotting sometimes when I wipe and starting Tuesday I have had such bad nausea with vomiting in the morning and a total lack of appetite. She did an ultrasound and that looked fine. We are 5w2d and there is a nice little sac. They called with my blood results, and the HCG was much better/normal, but my progesterone was very low and down from Monday. They had me come in right away and gave me progesterone supplements to inject vaginally. I have a luteal phase defect and so it would make sense that I would need some progesterone support in the first trimester. I am feeling very hopeful as most of the stories I have read have positive outcomes. We're leaving for Europe tomorrow and hoping this will be a great trip. Hoping and praying for a happy and healthy nine months for us all.
