Weeks: 7w 3d

Next milestone/appointment? I talk on the phone with the nurse at my OB's office next Tues 4/26 and then 10 week appointment Monday 5/9. The phone conversation is usually done around week 6; not sure why mine got pushed off so long (nothing available when I called) but I talked with the nurse before my previous loss in the fall so I'm guessing there isn't much she's going to say that I don't already know.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: This nausea sucks and I know I should try being more active because I think that helps but I'm just too tired/feel to sick.

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song? (Stolen from Nov 2016 BMB) Ummm this is hard for me. I'm not sure I have any "all time favorites". I generally listen to whatever is on the radio and is popular.

Weeks: 7 + 4

Next milestone/appointment? Have an OB appointment on Thursday. Had an US at 6weeks & saw baby & hb. I'm sure he'll tell me when my next US is at this appt. & whether or not I'll be going to maternal fetal this time around.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: Excited to be getting closer to the second trimester. Nausea has kicked my butt these past 3 weeks...TERRIBLY. Starting to ease up a little bit. Kinda early actually..hmm. Knock on wood.

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song? (Stolen from Nov 2016 BMB)
This is a hard one to answer! Depends on the genre. For alternative/rock it would have to be artists like Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down, Hootie and the Blowfish, etc. (Shinedown (lynyrd skynyrd) wins with Simple Man) - For country it would be Garth Brooks (Friends in Low Places wins of course) won't even try naming the other artist bc this would be too long. Then there's pop but that's too many people to choose from. I like older hip hop and r&b music from the 90's & 2000's. But we won't sit here and name all of those either haha. I love all genres of music! This questions too tough for me lol

Weeks: 7+5 or 4

Next milestone/appointment? Friday. Things with this pregnancy have been totally unpredictable and different than my 2 prior losses, but by no means do I feel like I am out of the woods. I feel like this appointment will be the deciding factor if I am having another loss, or if things are progressing reasonably for now. We saw HB on Friday but things were behind with the measurements. RE said bad angle and my anatomy & placement of gest. sac are super hard to scan, so trying to focus on that.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: DH is in Rome on business until Thursday. It's good because I can go to sleep at 8 if I want to and not feel guilty for not spending time with him (if the puppies allow its - usually not) but I'm also super PGAL crazy & having too much alone time to obsess probably isn't the best thing.

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song? (Stolen from Nov 2016 BMB) I stole this from Nov knowing it would be impossible for me to answer. Favs are Depeche Mode, David Bowie and Pet Shop Boys (to name a few). I love 80's new wave & EMB/Industrial music best. My favorite song is so much harder to nail down. The Cure - Just Like Heaven is a song I will never get sick of.

Next milestone/appointment?
Today we saw the OB for our first prenatal!! She did an ultrasound and it showed our LO is growing and had a HR of 108. I'm feeling so relieved, and yet in total shock! We do for another US on 5/4 and then our next OB appointment will be 5/16.

I cannot express enough how excited I am about my OB! And just how incredible she is!!!

@jenmlangtake2 You're still in my thoughts. I found that jumping right in again with TTGP helped me more than the loss boards did. I hope you find what soothes your soul & that you get your rainbow BFP really soon.

5w0d according to FF, but I think I might have O'ed earlier than FF thinks. Otherwise, I got a BFP at 7 DPO and am basically a unicorn.

Next milestone/appointment?
First appointment is on Friday. I'm very cautiously optimistic. Okay, I'll be honest. I'm scared to death.

Rant/Rave/Anything else:
This PGAL brain thing is pretty crazy. One moment I'm over the moon excited and happy to be feeling like barfing, the next minute I want to burst into tears because I'm so scared. I'm glad to not be in this alone.

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song?
It changes from time to time, but the one band I seem to keep coming back to, from the time I was 12 until now, is Counting Crows. I love the lyrics. I did see them live and I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be, but it might have been an off night. All time favorite song is way more difficult. For sentimental reasons, I'd say Future Days by Pearl Jam because it was DH's and my first song at our wedding.

Next milestone/appointment? Today! In an hour and a half! I might die. If this one goes well, that will officially make this pregnancy going much better than the last since last time there was no heartbeat at my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and it looked like it stopped growing at about 6.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: That's all, just trying to relax. My symptoms have calmed down a little and I was fairly crampy last night, so it's hard.

I keep meaning to get a tattoo that says Extraordinary Machine but my actual favorite is probably Paper Bag. Or Never is a Promise. Also liking her newer song Every Single Night. I'm bad at choosing favorites.

Hi, ladies!

Weeks: 7w1d

Next milestone/appointment? Had an appt this morning and all is looking good! Measuring right on track, heart rate was 136. The second sac that we saw at the last two ultrasounds was completely gone today and my RE is calling it a vanishing twin since my betas were so ridiculously high, but who knows. One more appt next Monday with my RE and then it's back to my OB!

Rant/Rave/Anything else: My nerves are finally calming down a bit and it's sinking in that I am, in fact, pregnant. Lol

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song? That's tough... I'm a huge fan of 90s rock/grunge (Counting Crows, STP, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, REM) and then to go the total opposite direction I love mellow folksy stuff like David Gray and Aimee Mann. My all time favorite song is probably either Counting Crows "'Round Here" or The Wallflowers "One Headlight".

Weeks: 7w1, EDD Dec 4th (now changed)

Next milestone/appointment? TODAY's appt. went great, everything is measuring very close (+/- 2 days) and we saw the HB. Next week on Thursday, I go again for a meeting with the nurse (8w4), regular blood work and they will sneak in an u/s for me!

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I was so happy after the u/s today that I decided to share my joy with my bff (so far only DH and I knew). She is the best and also pg, she is 5 weeks ahead of me. I hope we both have our beautiful babies so they can grow up to be best friends! We decided to tell our close family after 9week scan (that's the one we found out our last two losses) and just in time for Mother's day.

Questions? When is everyone sharing the news? Are you going to announce in some sort of public way? I am curious about other PGAL mommies out there.

@queenklau that's so exciting about your BFF! My best friend and I were also pregnant at the same time. She was 8 weeks ahead of me and I can't even describe how great it was to have someone to go through it with!

As far as announcing goes, we've already told close friends and family (I'm terrible at lying/keeping secrets) and will do a public announcement after the first tri. We're moving into a new house in 6 weeks and are planning to send out change of address cards so I'm thinking we'll incorporate baby #3 into that somehow.

Next milestone/appointment? Next appointment is not until the 27th, i'll be having another U/S and I should be 8 weeks.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I've been a little lurk-ish the past while, seeing everyone that has seen heartbeats by 6 weeks has got me frustrated and worried that something is wrong with my pregnancy...I know everyone is different but I feel like I have not seen one single person that didn't see a HB by 6 weeks. Google is not a good idea either

Weeks: 4 + 4 (I thought it was 3 days, but TB says 4, math is hard)

Next appointment: April 25, a week from today! It'll be my first. Eek

Rants/raves/anything else: my OB doesn't do an ultrasound (except for emergency situations) until 10 weeks or something. I'm so jealous of everyone that gets them early.

Questions: none today!

GTKY: this question is hard. I listen to such a big range of music...I have no idea!

@R0824H I had an US at exactly 6 weeks and didn't see the heartbeat. I saw it last week at 7 week check. Stay off google! I went down that rabbit hole again for a bit this AM. It does nothing but cause angst. I know it is easier said than done. Hang in there!!

Weeks: 7 weeks 4 days

Next milestone/appointment? We have an appointment on the 26th, a week away. I'm not sure what they'll do at this appt though.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: my boobs have stopped being sore. They started getting less and less till now, nothing. They're still swollen and big, they just don't hurt. I'm worried it's a bad sign. I don't have many other symptoms, so losing my big one is scaring me. Is it normal for that to happen? Dr. Google has already driven me crazy

@itsmehere1212, I know it's unsettling, but it is normal for symptoms to come and go. And your boobs could start hurting again in a few days! I guess our bodies kind of regulate until something new comes up. For now, I'd try to be glad that you hurt less and brace yourself for the next unpleasant symptom!

@itsmehere1212 I had the same thing happen last week & was beyond freaked! I can tell you they weren't very sore for a few days, but were horribly sore again yesterday. I am feeling like it is cyclical. That and moderate fatigue & bloat are really my only symptoms.

@mamabirdoftwo I have told my 2 closest friends and DH has told 2 friends. We are limiting it to that for now. I'm sure my Dad has suspicion as I haven't had wine when I've been there for dinner for the last few weeks, but he isn't asking questions which is good.

We haven't really decided when we're telling close friends or anyone else. I'm really superstitious about this, even though I know that's ridiculous. I don't really want to tell anyone until very close to the end of first tri, if not second tri. Maybe I'll feel differently after a good u/s....we'll see.

I want to tell my 2 best friends. I had a miscarriage in February and both of them helped me through so much of it so I would totally tell them if it happened again. I don't want to tell anyone else until we are in the 2nd trimester.I totally don't think it's ridiculous to wait... You really have to do what you think is best.

@mamabirdoftwo, I told two of my good friends and my parents. Those four helped me so much through our miscarriage and I wanted their support this time around from day one. The rest of the family and friends will be told later. Some of them worry too much and we didn't need to be borrowing any trouble.

My 2 friends I told were very supportive during my losses. For me, I am OK to tell them if something goes wrong again. I do not want to have to tell a larger group, so am keeping things quiet with family and co-workers for a while. I don't think I will ever post any kind of announcement on social media.

@itsmehere1212 I feel like symptoms ramp up and then slow down every few days. I've had this with both of my girls as well as miscarriages so I try not to put much stock into it, although I know it's really hard.

Weeks: 7w 4d

Next appointment: We just had our dating ultrasound Saturday and baby was measuring perfectly with a heart rate of 142. I couldn't be happier but still am cautious through the first tri.

Hello ladies, I am new...I just got my betas back today. So I am officially pregnant. I am STM with a history of two MC..last one was feb 16, with no growth of the fetus. This is my first cycle back and we got blessed with our rainbow. I am hoping this one sticks. Trying to be optimistic and live day by day.

Weeks: 4 weeks 2 days

Next milestone/appointment? Betas Friday to see progesterone and hcg levels..next week transvaginal to look for sac and yolk.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: pgal brain tries to take hold due to my lack of symptoms other than sensitive nipples and indigestion. I am trying to mentally think about is it or isn't the baby growing.

Questions? Ever have difficulty with obgyn and supporting your decision for checking betas. My obgyn takes a ton of nudging.

GTKY: Who is your favorite music artist and what is your all time favorite song? This is hard...I will pick one from two favorite genres...NIN and Seal. All time favorite song that's impossible lol. I will just say I really like beach boys god only knows...cause I just heard it.

Ughh. Ladies, I'm having some very light pink spotting (have to really look at the TP after wiping) and light cramping. I know it could be normal but I'm freaking out and having a hard time keeping it together at work. Just needed to vent. I really don't know if I can handle another loss. I mean, I can, but I really don't want to.

@cjt121413 as hard as it is, try to relax and not freak out even though it's virtually impossible. With my two boys, I had light pink spotting within the first couple weeks of being pregnant so sending positive thoughts your way that it's nothing. Hopefully your dr gets back with you quickly and sends you in for some blood work maybe?

@queenklau @mamabirdoftwo - I told 2 close friends (who know of my previous loss) at like 5ish weeks? I had already gotten one ultrasound and a few betas so we knew that things were more promising than my previous pregnancy (which was ectopic). We haven't told anyone else, including our families. I think we will wait until at least after my 10 week appointment (during which they will hopefully hear the heartbeat on Doppler) and may wait until after we get any genetic testing and/or the NT scan (depending upon what our options are and what we decide). I think both of our families will be very excited and start planning for a baby (even though they know about our previous loss) and emotionally we're not there yet so we just can't bring ourselves to share and then have to put on a happy face and/or talk about it all the time when we're still super nervous.

@itsmehere1212 - My symptoms are pretty off and on as well - some days they are much worse and some days they are better. I think what you're experiencing is normal.

@cjt121413 - fingers crossed it's nothing. My cramping is also off and on so cramping could totally be normal. Pink spotting should also be ok as long as it's not bleeding - but it can feel really scary! Fingers crossed you get good news soon.

No, not heavy back cramps. It's more like a very mild, dull ache. I can't be sure it's real cramping or imagined freaking out cramping, TBH.

No bright blood at all....it's barely even pink, more like a fleshy color. Ugh. It's hard to think about anything else.
