Re: FFFC 4-15

  • @yellowrose314 that's so frustrating. The thing with boards is, you can take all the time off to study for them, but you don't need it and you will not spend the time studying anyway. Speaking from experience

My point exactly. If I have dedicated time off, I know myself, I will fill it up with family time, because in the last 4 months I haven't gotten the kind of time I would like. Mainly because on 2/4 of my days off I'm already studying for the NCLEX.

@yellowrose314 congrats on almost being done!! that must be hard to deal with in the meantime- hang in there!! I'm glad DH can take the other 6mos #canadarocks. My husband stays home with ds during the day (we switch shifts) and it has been a great experience for the both of them.

@runningisrad I feel your pain!! I have been a huge beotch on days I come home from work and this weather has not been helping. If I take a long walk to burn some stress, I'm ok. I wish cleaning the house would burn the same amount bc this place could use a scrubbing.
  • You guys are all seriously the best, thanks for comforting me in my time of need!! <3

@runningisrad I totally feel the same way. Fragile, emotional, kinda depressed. I felt like this when I was pregnant with my son, too. I have no advice, I've just been powering through it somehow, and continuously feeling like I'm doing a bad job at everything. Just remember it's not YOU it's totally the pregnancy. All through my last pregnancy I kept feeling like I just turned into a sad sack and that was my new personality forever. But it did eventually pass. Hope it all passes for you soon!

@yellowrose314 Congrats on finishing your program! But man, what a difficult situation they put you in--losing a month that you expected to be working really sucks. Fingers crossed that they concede and decide to start earlier.
Side note: totally jealous of your Canadian parental leave!
