It's getting hard to sit up straight and working, man oh man, I don't know if I can make it another 3 weeks...I'm constantly on my one leg (other on the scooter because of my broken foot). The cankles are absolutely terrible!!
I want baby here but then I want him to make it to 40 weeks so I can have time to heal. But I don't control his schedule unfortunately.
Appointment update?
Dilated 1/2cm as of last week and cervix is starting to soften. Doctor said little buddy is running out of room in there! Next appointment 4/21.
What meal do you want after delivery?
SUSHI (all kinds, any kind), medium rare steaks, Italian sandwich from Jersey Mike's subs!!
Symptoms/raves/rants? This week sucked majorly. High BP at my appt on Tuesday so I got sent to L&D for monitoring. All results came back good with no signs of pre-e so just high BP that I need to watch. Oh... And baby girl ended up actually being a boy. So that's been fun. MIL is coming by later to go through stuff to exchange or put up. We're actually just going to keep most of the clothes and blankets and just pack them away. Honestly, I'm likely to go earlier than my due date so we don't have much time and we don't feel like dealing with it. We're just going to go out tomorrow to buy the stuff we do need and that will be that. We also got a ton of books and some people wrote the baby girl name in them... So I have to think of a way to fix that too bc I'm not getting rid of those. So if anyone has any ideas for that...
Appointment update? 4/19 for a regular appointment which I'm dreading bc I have another appointment right after that for a high level scan at the children's hospital down the road. I know it's going to end up blowing up my BP and they're going to say something. I tried to see if they could reschedule the regular appointment for the next day and of course not... So I have to preface my appointment by saying 'Sorry, my BP is probably high bc you're sending me for another scan right after this'...

What meal do you want after delivery? Sushi. Raw tuna sushi.
Symptoms: swolen feet, general body pains
Rants: it takes forever for me to get anywhere. I am so slow haha.
Raves: 30 sleeps until my c-section, that has me excited
Appointment update? Had one on Wed, and will go two more times (once every two weeks) until my date. Baby seemed healthy.
What meal do you want after delivery? A big coke and biltong. I hate having to take small sips of coke so one of my own would be amazing.
How many weeks/fruit? 34 weeks...butternut squash
Symptoms/raves/rants? Sore feet, sore back, pain in my left boob...the usual lately. Had some sharp pains in my belly getting out of bed yesterday and out of my car yesterday afternoon. I think it's just RLP. Haven't really had any Braxton Hicks.
I guess this is a rave? Maternity pictures today at 6:30 and the weather is completely perfect! 73* already!
Appointment update? Monday, I guess this is the last appt before they start doing cervical checks.
Questions for the group? Anyone else NOT having Braxton Hicks?
What meal do you want after delivery? Is it sad that all I've thought about is an ice cold beer after delivery? I haven't even thought about a meal.. I have however told my dad that I'm expecting him to sneak me in a beer when he comes to visit at the hospital.
*Special news that we (finally) got our new, 2013 Honda Odyssey today! Thanks for holding me to it!
Goal for the rest of the weekend is clean up carseats and install the twins' convertible seats. I think I will install the infant seat base this week or next.
Symptoms/raves/rants? lots of BHs as usual, but they are less scary to me because we are 34 weeks!!
I think my pelvic pain has slowed down my walk a bit
Appointment update? Routine OB appt this Tuesday. Only 3 more appts scheduled before my c-s. I'm curious if my OB will want/ask to check my cervix because I'm a scheduled c-s. He will be checking for gbs as that is standard for the practice at 36wks.
Questions for the group? How have your BH or contractions changed over the last month or two? Are they the same or longer/more uncomfortable? My BHs seem to be the same, which is fine with me!
What meal do you want after delivery? Today I'm feeling like I don't really care - I just can't wait until I get to snuggle with LO. I do look forward to the hospital's yummy breakfast sandwiches!

@dsmith211 For the books, you can cover over the girl's name with one if those book plate stickers! They sell them in packs, and they can be very sweet.

Symptoms/raves/rants? Sleeplessness, swollen feet, heartburn (but only when I eat something sweet! Knowing this, I probably shouldn't have just polished off that ice cream... But it tasted so good!), trouble breathing:( My shower is next week, and I am so excited to be able to start nesting properly! I got some nifty storage bins to put baby's things in (we don't actually have a nursery, so I'm trying to make the living room as nursery-like as possible).
Appointment update? Every Monday from here on out! Last Monday I was 1/2 cm dilated with a softening cervix, and baby was exactly in the right position for birth. Hoping he stays there!
What meal do you want after delivery? SUSHI!!!!!! OMG I miss it so much.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Rant: My feet are killing me. I actually starting walking on the outer part of my feet, I have to consciously remind myself to walk on my whole foot.
Rave: Now that I have had my showers I am washing all the baby clothes! I think this is the only time I'm excited to do laundry.
Appointment update? 4/29 for GBS and my first cervical check. My OB told me he had just checked a FTM at her 36w appt and she was 3cm 100% effaced!

What meal do you want after delivery? I don't really care about food, I want a drink. Champagne is on my list. During our hospital tour, a question was asked about how soon after delivery we can eat. In a round about way the answer was "Why would you not be able to eat during labor? So you can eat whenever you want after."
Symptoms/raves/rants? I don't want to work anymore. The commute is killing me, and by Friday every bone in my body hurts. Back is starting to hurt. Hips hurt when sleeping. Feet and hands are so swollen. But baby is perfect so I can deal for a few more weeks.
Appointment update? Monday for gbs test, weds for weekly scan and nst. Starting next week I'm on the weekly dr appt too.

What meal do you want after delivery? There is a cheesesteak place by the hospital that I've always wanted to try. Told dh to bring me one, as well as a Not Your Fathers Root Beer.
Rants/raves/symptoms: I've been really itchy lately, especially at night. So I don't sleep at all. It's been hot here so my feet and hands swell slightly. Just a lot of pressure. It's hard to really walk much these days. But 16 days until my c section! If she makes it that long.
Appointment update: I have one on Monday. Just a check up. Then I have one last one 4/27 before my c section!
What meal do you want after delivery? Not at the hospital, but I keep telling my husband that after I have this baby we're going out for a burger and a beer. I don't normally drink but I've craved beer this pregnancy.
@valerie4786 no BH over here, or I'm just clueless that I'm even having them lol
Symptoms/raves/rants? I haven't been experiencing what I expected contractions to feel like. I have had diarrhea and associated cramping though. It sucks but from what I understand it's just my body's sucky way of preping for L&D.
I'm also happy to see @cortney626 say something about the itching because I itch badly at night too.
Appointment update? Every Thursday until LO arrives.

How many weeks/fruit? 38 wintermelon/spaghetti squash
Symptoms/raves/rants? Heartburn, fatigue, general discomfort...
So close to the end, though, and I am ready!
Appointment update? I'm at weekly appointments. Dilated more than last time and he is definitely lower. Wish that gave me heartburn relief!
Questions for the group? Anyone bringing a nursing pillow to the hospital?

I imagine I'll eat anything at that point, but I'm definitely looking forward to raw sushi again!
Symptoms/raves/rants? Insomnia that only allows me 2-3 hours of sleep per night! Not a good combo for all I need to be accomplishing at work and home! I also get winded after doing any little thing.
rave: My boss approved for my last day of work to be May 6th- only 3 more work weeks!
Appointment update? 36 week apptmt on 4/26 then weekly from there

We went to Buy Buy Baby last night and bought the rest of our registry stuff. We had a 10% completion coupon, but I asked it we could get 15% (to match the Amazon Prime discount) and they agreed. Then, since there was a lot of stuff out of stock, we asked if we could have those items sent to our house. Their computers were being really slow on ordering those items, so they gave us 20% off! WIN!
Appointment update? 34 week appointment was uneventful. Next appointment is a week from Monday, where they will start doing cervical checks.

What meal do you want after delivery? So many things sound good - probably either pizza or Chinese.
If you bring regular pillows - put a colorful pillow case on so you don't leave them at the hospital!

symptoms/rants/raves: this damn rash that won't go away. Ugh I hate it. I'm itchy all the time and all over my body. Nothing soothes it or even takes the itch away. I want to cry and tear my skin off at the same time.
Appointments: going Tuesday to check the rash again. Last week they told me to try Benadryl by mouth so I did. And all that happened was I felt drunk and couldn't fall asleep but I'm still itchy.
Eating after delievery: all the Italian subs and cold cuts and a big fat glass of wine when I get home.

Rants/raves/symptoms: heartburn, swelling, major appetite, so emotional and so sentimental, also the shortest of short fuses
Upcoming appts: I was supposed to have one tomorrow, cancelled for a jury trial. Rescheduled for Tuesday, have to cancel bc a death in the family. The rest of the week is out because of funeral/I'm on call and work is insane. I need to get the GBS test done, and I feel like I'm pretending this baby isn't happening. just insanely overwhelmed with life but if I can make it to Friday, my stress level will definitely decrease. I'm running on no sleep here!
GTKY: hate being this guy, but reading through all the foods made me realize how I haven't refrained this pregnancy like last time. However, I'm ready for a mimosa, cold Miller lite, and marg as soon as possible!!
