Symptoms/raves/rants? Ugh heartburn, and lack of sleep, and holy hell my hips hurt whenever I stand up. We're touring the hospital we most likely will use tomorrow, and they are having a Babypalooza festival with free stuff- YES!
Appointment update? Up to every week now- though the week after next will be a funky one because my OB's baby is due the next weekend (not tomorrow but the one after)- but she said that just means my normal monday appointment will most likely get moved to Friday afternoon.

What meal do you want after delivery? Honestly I have no idea- most of the stuff we aren't supposed to eat is stuff I don't eat anyway soooooooo yea. I imagine I'm just going to want food.
How many weeks/fruit? 37 - romaine lettuce
Symptoms/raves/rants? Back has been bothering me for a week & contractions every once in a while. I'm ready for this baby to come out!
Appointment update? Have one this afternoon, considering how quickly I've progressed so far I'm half expecting to be admitted to L&D. Either that or they'll say I've done great on my own so far and to just go home and wait the rest out on my own until I can't. (rolls eyes)

What meal do you want after delivery? Haven't really given this much thought since my doctor was fine with me eating lunch meat as long as it was fresh within a few days so I've had sandwiches at home (nothing out) and she also said I could have stead cooked medium, which is more than I like, but better than well done. So besides sushi, which I like but don't love-it-must-have-it-all-the-time kinda thing, that's been really the only thing I've steered clear of .I guess that's why I'm not really worried about what meal to have after delivery. I'm sure I'll be ready to eat whatever at that point and it'll taste wonderful.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Back pain, cankles, lack of sleep, moving slow, going to the bathroom a lot. I, of course, enjoy her movements. I'm happy that for the most part, I'm feeling pretty decent so I don't complain much. I just wish I could sleep through the night and/or feel rested more often. But such is life. My only rant is people who see me at work (or wherever) and exclaim "Wow! Your belly is getting big!" No shit, sherlock, I'm growing a child and am due next month. Did you think I was going to get smaller? *rolls eyes and face palms*
Appointment update? Not for another week and a half and then I move to weekly
Questions for the group? Anyone else not done with the nursery? I'm hoping to get it done in the next couple weeks but I also like to become one with the couch!
What meal do you want after delivery? I'm with everyone else, I haven't really restrained on anything except for sushi. For some reason, a nice steak meal sounds good. But I'm also hungry right now and that's what sounds good right now!
Symptoms/raves/rants? It is shocking... but after a miserable 2 months of no sleep, all of a sudden I am getting so much more rest!! Like, maybe 5 hours a night. It's amazing.
Appointment update? Apt this AM to check my blood pressure which is looking good. Ultrasound on Monday to check the baby's size!! I am so excited to see him!!!!!

What meal do you want after delivery? I want a BEER and a cold TURKEY SANDWICH!!!
How many weeks/fruit? 35 weeks today! I've also given up on the fruit.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Swelling from the knees down and in my hands, hip pain (since the second tri, so not new), trouble sleeping, heartburn. LO moves a TON, and mostly during the day. Hopefully that's an indication of what life on the outside will be like, but somehow I doubt it lol.
Appointment update? Had one this week and everything was fine. I don't get another one for two and a half weeks though, cause my midwife is going on vacation

What meal do you want after delivery? I haven't restricted much of anything, so I don't have any specific ideas right now. Whatever I'm craving at the time.

Symptoms/raves/rants? just a lot of aches and pains. Lots of pressure, and I feel swollen "down there" Anyone else?
Appointment update? Have one this afternoon with an ultrasound! I also think they'll do the strep B test today. We're taking my daughter so she can see her little brother on the "tv". So excited!

What meal do you want after delivery? UGH!! Since I'll be having a c-sec I'm going to be STARVING yet will still only be allowed to "eat" clear liquids after delivery. So I won't be able to eat anything after midnight the night before, I have to be at the hospital at 8:30am, and c-sec is at 11am. I'm going to have to have a mexican fiesta for cinco de mayo to stuff my belly full of goodness the night before.
Symptoms/raves/rants? Non-pregnancy related: I hate this new app. I had been having horrible heartburn that was keeping me up all night long. Dr prescribed Protonix and OMG why has this drug not been in my life before?!?! It has helped me so much!! Tons of contrax, but still irregular timing. Lost some lovely MP yesterday-forgot to take a pic and post it for everyone though, maybe next time.
Appointment update? Monday for my weekly appt. Should have an US the following week I hope?
Questions for the group? Anyone get the DTap vax? I got my booster Monday and I am almost positive that is why I have felt like crap all week. Wednesday was horrid, in fact my boss/BFF told me to go home and sleep it off. Now my injection site is swollen, red, and has a hard bump.
What meal do you want after delivery? Anything I don't have to cook!
How many weeks/fruit? 36 weeks - woo hoo!
Symptoms/raves/rants? Just getting really hard to bend and do certain things with this big ol' belly. I actually feel more energetic the past week; felt worse a few weeks ago. I literally wake up every 2 hours to pee at night. I'm thankful though that I can immediately go back to sleep. That's not going to be the case when the babies are here. Eeek!
Appointment update? everything continues to check out great at my Wed. appointments. Next week's sonogram will include a growth scan so I'm looking forward to hearing an estimate of what they weigh. They should be well into the 6 lb range.

What meal do you want after delivery? I'm not picky. Maybe lasagna? I also think of the hospital as a 'vacation' - no cooking or cleaning (or arguing with kids about going to bed) - sounds good to me! I'm definitely looking forward to having a guilt free glass of wine or a beer when I get home. mmmmmm. Hello summer.
@jenl1681 - I had the Tdap and the pharmacist warned me that it would be sore and to massage the spot and use the arm right away (which I did) and I had absolutely no soreness. ??
@mrsTmoose - don't worry, you'll get the nursery done enough
I'm a couple weeks ahead of you and a couple weeks ago the place was still totally a work in progress. I like to do things on my own, but some things my husband just needs to do, so I made him a list and that's really helped (he can cross things off and do it at his own pace). It's taken a few years but I've finally realized he can't read my mind. hehehehe.
@finnybooboo - I keep forgetting about not eating after a C-section! Ugh - not being able to eat is just the worst to me. I had a loooong induction with my first baby and couldn't eat for 25 hours, so I remember what that was like. I'm going to attempt a vaginal delivery with these twins but baby B is breech so it all depends if he'll turn. Anyway, GL and enjoy your night before fiesta!
Symptoms/raves/rants? False labor, lots of pressure, peeing every hour through the night. Generally just very uncomfortable. I'm feeling more and more ready to have this baby every minute.
Appointment update? Next weekly appt is Wednesday. Found out this week that my GBS test came back negative and baby is locked and loaded although my cervix is still closed.

Symptoms/raves/rants? A lot of pressure today. I've had swelling in my hands this week so that was a new symptom. Can't believe how close we are getting to meeting our little guy.
Appointment update? I had my MFM appointment today. Everything was looking good. My bp hasn't been increasing but they still want to induce me at 37 weeks. I'm going to weekly appointments now at both my ob and the mfm.

What meal do you want after delivery? I want a turkey sub!
Symptoms/raves/rants? I had to go to the hospital on Wednesday to have an ultrasound on my leg. It turns out that I have a superficial blood clot causing pain and inflammation. I have pretty severe varicose veins (three pregnancies have really taken their toll!) and it's just going to keep happening. I had one at 20 weeks as well but it wasn't as bad. Anyway, the OB is talking induction at 39 weeks since they are unable to treat the clots until after the delivery. Getting nervous that it's coming up so soon!
Appointment update? My appointment is next Tuesday and I will get the GBS test and and an internal to check my cervix.

Symptoms/raves/rants? I was trying to get the flower bed in the front yard ready to plant after I got home from work, and I could not find a comfortable position! At least it was the first day in a long while I could wear shorts and not freeze! Excited to bust out (hopefully not literally) my maternity shorts this weekend.
