@longliveregina Enjoy
your time off work, that sounds lovely!
@sldp123 Yay, welcome
to the TWW! FX you have a quick sale.
@Zoey1019 I’m sorry
you’re feeling down, you’re allowed to feel that way! I have definitely been
there before, and I’m sure I’ll be there again. So sorry about impending
CD1. Hoping it passes quickly and you
can move on to your FW.
@JediAlly85 I have been thinking the same thing about implantation pains!! I am at 6dpo and have had on and off pains.... so let
my own BSC begin….here’s FX for you!
@whiska I’ve had
pains off and on in my left ovary so far this TWW, the one I’m pretty sure I O’d
from. Yes, cue the BSC. I hear you on that! Yay Paris!
@MonaLisaRalphio
Dang, so sorry about impending AF. I want those Girl Scout cookies!
@thj101 I hope you get some rest soon!! That dress is so
pretty!
@DoctorDonna girl,
you know I love your name change! And your dress is GORGEOUS. You look
fabulous! Also I thought the same thing
about the ads. Boo.
@sLass42 FX your lack
of AF symptoms is a good sign! Your dress is beautiful!
@clover28 oh my word,
I am so glad I’m not the only one who 1. digs tests out of the trash and 2. bumps
on la toilette. Lol! You make me feel so good about myself. So sorry it’s CD1…hoping
AF moves out soon!
@RatsPJ
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! Yay. H&H 9 months to you! Looove me some BFP's in the AM!
@beff12 Um, so
gorgeous, and I love the parasol. Classy!!! How nice that your DH cooked you a
delicious breakfast! Love it.
@SnobunnieMel Hoping
you turn a test in the next few days, 9dpo is still pretty early! You look
beauteous in your dress.
@jenmlangtake2 Love
your dress and your style!! Those platforms are the shiz! Also, I would NOT feel bad/guilty one iota
for removing yourself from that group text. 1. You didn’t ask to be put on the
group text (I don't think?) and 2. *tw birthing process mentioned* The lady is pushing a child
out of her hoohah. At a certain point, I doubt she will even notice that you’re
not on there (/I doubt at a certain point she will be the one texting out those minute-by-minute updates...). To be honest, I would have removed myself too. I agree that it’s a day that should be
celebrated, but that doesn’t mean that you have to be included in a group text update if it makes you uncomfortable. Your feelings are just
as valid as hers! And I know you will find your own way to celebrate this that
is within your comfort zone. I get it!
@kfair001 Hey you! I
would agree with FF and CD18 for O. Looks like your timing is pretty good
either way though! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope your day is kick-ass.
@l9i Pretty dress! I
had a lace up corset in the back of my dress too and I just loved that. Mine
was on sale too!
@hunnybunny17 Don’t
feel bad about your reaction to your DH showing you that announcement! Our DH’s
really do try and they definitely mean well, but sometimes it’s just too
emotional for us to see that stuff, which I think is hard for them to understand. I’m thinking of you! PS your dress is
beautiful!
@Dilynne oooh your dress is so pretty and you look amazing!
I hope you get some answers about your CD/DPO situation soon!
@lisswastaken I
loooove the red in that dress. That is really pretty! Sorry about the BFN, but
9dpo is still early!
@Sparty18 Hahahha
that is so how I felt when I went to the doctor last week! Can’t wait to hear
every detail of how it goes, good luck!
@britters314 well,
let’s just be optimistic together! I think I’ve had a better TWW so far as
well, so maybe being (cautiously? Lol)
optimistic is the way to go. FX for us!
@LadyMillil I am so jealous that you had pockets in your
wedding dress. It’s gorgeous!
@PaukMeKiande Every
little temp drop on my chart has me thinking the same thing!! Ugh. Your temp is
still well above the cover line though so I don’t think there’s anything to
worry about. Your dress is beautiful!

ETA: Congrats @RatsPJ!! So glad the squinter is now a full on BFP. HH9 to you!!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 24/10
Timing: -2, -1, +2
Testing: Tomorrow morning if AF doesn't show tonight
R/R/CS: Feeling like AF is breathing down my neck, so I'm guessing that FF is right that I O'd earlier than I originally thought. Still, as many notes as I make in FF, I struggle to decide if I feel any different than "usual". I can say that my cramps and PMS aren't as bad, so far, as last month. But honestly, last month was particularly bad.I haven't necessarily accepted that I'm out yet, but that is the likely scenario. I'm not sure how I haven't peed on anything yet. I guess I don't like seeing BFNs more than I want to look for a BFP.
I happened to be wandering around the mall this weekend (I'm not much of a mall rat), and purposefully went into Pottery Barn Kids to look at the nursery stuff. I'm usually one of those people who feels superstitious about doing that sort of thing, but I realized that I haven't gotten KU in the first 3 cycles without doing stuff like this, so what do I really have to lose? It turns out that PB nurseries are not really my style, but I did find a crib that I like...and I walked out of there without crying, even after seeing a couple of bumps and LOs in strollers...so I feel OK about it.
GTKY: We'll eventually elope, for lack of a better term, so I want to wear a wedding dress that is courthouse appropriate. Something like this:
Me: 45 OH: 42 Beloved SS: born 12/2011 TTC my bio #1/our #2 since January 2016 **TW** June 2016 had CP **end TW** August 2016 - dx with DOR Somewhere in here received recommendation to do IVF with donor eggs, elected not to; OH dx with Low T May 2017 - began freezing sperm June 2017 - OH began treatment for Low T July 2017 - began doing 1 IUI via a midwife and 1 at home insemination each cycle http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/6259ba July 2018 - exhausted frozen sperm, officially NTNP since OH is probably shooting blanks
Ok, maybe stupid question. I had to have a filling redone because it was sensitive. Dentist told me to take Advil to help reduce inflammation, Tylenol not an option because won't reduce infammation. I know a lot of people are drink till its pink etc here, but I am worried that I could do harm if I am not out....does anyone have an opinion?

Testing: I tested last night and this morning (I know soo early! I can't help myself). At first I thought bfn but then I noticed very very very faint lines on both (like got to to hold against the light to see and then squint some more). They could easily be evap lines though since I'm new at this. Therefore, I'm not counting it as a bfn or a bfp at this point. They were both cheapies .88 cent ones from Walmart. I just got back from the store and bought a First Response test which I'm going to take in a few hours after I hold my pee as long as I can haha. Maybe it will give a clearer answer! Fx!
R/R/CS: Ran a half marathon yesterday. It went awesome and I placed first in my age group 25-29..but the entire time I was worried about overexerting myself in case there's that chance I could possibly be ku. I was worried the entire time so I think I'm going to take it easy on the training until I get a definite answer.
GTKY: Here's me in my dress! I ordered it offline without ever trying it out and it fit like a glove!
@krisnicole23 FX for a darker line!! And I totally feel you on the overexerting yourself thing. I didn't run a half marathon (congrats btw!) but I did 3 days in a row of high intensity intervals plus cycling this weekend and was freaking out the whole time lol. I think that as long as our bodies are generally used to that level of exertion, then it should be fine.
Testing: Might go for Wednesday but still trying to hold off until Friday
R/R/CS: I have not been able to focus at all today while at work. Potentially being KU is the only thing on my brain. Ugh. I think it's because I felt sooo positive that this was going to be our cycle and now I'm having tons of doubts. I keep having cramps and strange twinges too, which could be anything, but the irrational part of my brain is taking over and making me crazy.
GTKY: I'm still so in love with my wedding dress! It was originally not at all what I wanted, but as soon as I tried it on I never wanted to take it off!
R/R/CS: Really just waiting for CD1 to come so hopefully DH and I can have better timing next month since he was gone for most of my FW this cycle.
GTKY: since someone recently asked about prom dresses it got me curious about wedding dresses! Let's see yours! If you aren't married, show us your dream dress if you were to ever get married.
I loved my dress although it was nothing like I thought I would end up with. I always thought I would have a more princess style dress but DH kept putting the bug in my ear that he wanted it to show off my curves a bit.... the train on my dress was my favorite part

@mrsjqg1024 Thank you! That's what my dh said. That if it's something I'm used to doing, then I should be fine. Going to just do an easy cycling to stretch my legs out today but going to keep things relatively easy just in case. I love your dress btw! Gorgeous!

@kellybean1988 I’m kind of the same way this cycle too. I was
feeling out all WTO but now optimism is starting to creep in and I’m trying to

@MonaLisaRalphio, Sorry about the BFN but it isn’t over

@Sparty18 That’s awesome that you’re so prepared. Good for you and way to take control! You go girl!
@britters314 Thanks for chart stalking! No reason to disregard that temp on
CD18. Just because my temp didn’t dip
like it normally does and it did dip on CD 16.
And I’m losing confidence in my BBT because if I temp more than once in
the morning, the temps are never anywhere near each other. :S
@LadyMillil Pockets …. Amazing! I love that dress. It’s beautiful!
@PaukMeKiande Haha oh the BSC is starting early. I’ll be doing the same thing in a few days I’m

@Aurora1973 FX for tomorrow morning! Love that dress. So nice!

R/R/CS: Hello. I've finally intro'd. Been lurking since last June, before trying. You guys were my research. I've learned a lot! I think I'm going to end up being here so I thought maybe I'd stop being a creeper and interact.... today is a lovely lazy day. I'm good.
GTKY: since someone recently asked about prom dresses it got me curious about wedding dresses! Let's see yours! If you aren't married, show us your dream dress if you were to ever get married.
I had a strapless A line with a small train. Embroidery and small beads. I love my dress. I'd love to have a 10 or whatever year party sometime for the sole reason of wearing it again.
@longliveregina Well crap. I mean, it's totally possible because I'm not exactly a healthy weight. How many annovulatory cycles should I wait until I seek help? Does that fall under the 1 year timeline? I think TCOYF says 6 months?
Ahhhh you guys, totally ran out of time for a second round of responses today! Work got CRAZY this afternoon, I hate that when that happens on a Monday. May or may not be stuffing my face with a second homemade cinnamon roll right now.
FX for all y'all, see you tomorrow!
TTC January 2016 BFP May 17, 2016 DS born January 31st, 2017: Rory "Mac" MacKinnon
Update (long): For those who are curious, my appointment with my OB went well. I just switched to this office, so it was my first time there. I had a fully clothed, comfortable sit-down with the doctor first and we talked through my history and then we talked through all the details so far of TTC.
Overall, it went as expected. She was glad to see I'm being proactive and was very happy with H's SA results. She wasn't interested to see my charts and trusted that I could tell I was ovulating (I was ok with this). When talking about exercise, she made comments to not worry about cutting back or doing things that aren't high impact. She fully believes you should keep on doing what you love. One thing that frustrated me was she made a comment that when trying for her 3 children, it always happened when she wasn't trying. (blah) She said it in more of a joking tone, in that she had done all the BBT, etc... and when she wasn't she would get pregnant. After that, she went on to say that she fully understands if I want to keep temping as she knows that some personalities like to do that, but said I could consider stopping that as well. (Ok, probably not going to happen, but it did make me question my sanity.) She also didn't have any concerns about some of the light mid-cycle spotting I've had in a few cycles and had no issues with my average 26 day cycles (13 day average LP).
As I'm on cycle 9 TTC, she said the next two things she would recommend is to do a blood test to look at hormone levels and thyroid and also a sonohysterogram. She called them "check the box" type things and doesn't suspect any issues will come up. They would require these to be done before doing anything else at the year mark (or 12 cycle mark in my case), so she said it was up to me if I wanted to do them now. I opted for the blood test today and will wait to see what happens with that. She also brought up the Counsyl Test (DNA screening) and gave me some information. They can do it for $99 there which I guess is cheaper than the norm. I don't have an initial gut feeling of whether I would want to do it, but I will at least read more about it. Has anyone else done this?
I feel much better just having that discussion with a doctor and my brain was thinking all kinds of thoughts as we talked. I know we're only on cycle 9, so I'm not looking to do anything aggressive yet, I just want to do the "check the box" type things as she called it so I can identify an "easy" issue if there is one, especially since we are in our 30s. She was very professional and it was reassuring to hear her say things seem normal and she's confident I will get pregnant. I'm just glad I was able to get the blood work today and we can move forward from there.
On a funny note, there was an emergency plan posted by the phone and it had a code of "E99" "location". I kept seeing it as "egg location" and was like hmm, yup, I'd like to know the location of mine.
Testing: This upcoming Saturday, 12 DPO. That's as long as I can hold out.
R/R/CS: I have had a weird stomach ache for two days now. Today I can't eat anything. I'm hungry, but when I eat it makes the stomach ache worse. I don't know if it's psychosomatic (which is what I'm telling myself) or what. I'm tired of the nausea and I wish that I would just throw up already.
GTKY: My mom bought my dress. The wedding wasn't the perfect wedding. I had lost my job after getting sick. But I made do with what I had and people still talk about it fondly to this day.
(P.S. Does anyone else get "Getting to know you" stuck in your head when they do the GTKY question?)
Anovulatory with PCOS Clomid 50;100;150;200: No O TSH 3.75 Put on 50mg levothyroxine 1500 MG Metformin 7.5 MG Letrozole: No Follicles 9 MG Letrozole: 21mm Follicle no pregnancy 4 cycles at 9 MG Letrozole, No pregnancy
@Dilynne Honestly your chart looks annovulatory to me. Sorry
That's what I was thinking too @Dilynne but it takes a while for our bodies to come off of bcp and actually work and function normally. A lot of women have a few anovulatory cycles after stopping bc.

Testing: DH wants me to test tonight. I wanted to test after work but had to pee so bad before I got home. Part of me wants to see if my temp stays up in the am. AF is due tomorrow.
R/R/CS: DH and I had the "infertility talk" yesterday. I have a consultation next Monday and he freaked out when I told them they require a down payment. Last night he agree we start with testing and go from there. However tonight we asked if we could "really try hard" for a couple more months. I was like WTF we have been. I don't know what else we can do. I feel since the appointment is right before my FW chances are they won't start testing until next cycle (May) so I kind of want to go to the consultation Monday. Any thoughts? Do you think they will do a dye test next week?
R/R/CS: So I have been a little crampy yesterday and today. It is subtle cramping/twinges so idk if it's even worth mentioning. I find that If I get busy at work or get distracted with something I stop noticing it unless I stop and think to see if it is still there. (aka it's all in my head.)
Today my temps dipped a bit so wondering about that too..
GTKY: since someone recently asked about prom dresses it got me curious about wedding dresses! Let's see yours! If you aren't married, show us your dream dress if you were to ever get married.
This is not me, but it's my dress. Since we are keeping ttc a secret I don't want to post my picture. It was the dress of my dreams
R/R/CS: Mobile bump won't let me post, my modem had a hissy fit this morning and I want to go back to bed to try this again.
GTKY: since someone recently asked about prom dresses it got me curious about wedding dresses! Let's see yours! If you aren't married, show us your dream dress if you were to ever get married.
This is a photo of myself and my dad :-) it's the best one I have that shows my dress off, plus I don't have many photo's with my dad so I love it! (Dads a photographer, he prefers to take the photo's)
I adored my dress but I would've had it altered if I were to do it again. the top of it was too big. Then there were only 5 people at my wedding and I was only in the dress for an hour so I'm not sure it would've been worth the cost. (the photo was huge when I inserted it and I couldn't change it, so if you want to see you can click on the thing down there VVV)
@Sparty18 I had the Counsyl Family Prep. It tests for 100+ inheritable conditions. My insurance covered it, so you might want to check to see if your insurance will pay for it as well. I ended up finding out I'm a carrier for 3 of the conditions. 1 of the 3 I knew would show up and the others are minor. DH is a carrier for 1 and minor. Also, an SHG is different than an HSG so you might want to make sure you're getting the test you want done. Usually, it's the HSG that's performed but I have heard of SHGs being performed instead (or in addition to the HSG).
@dogmomwantinghuman I'm not sure what you mean by dye test. You mean HSG/SHG? Those are generally done CD6-10. Most of the hormonal testing they'll want to do will have to be done at the start of a cycle but I think there are a few things (like AMH) that can be tested at any point. If your RE office doesn't have a long wait time and you know your LP, you could try to reschedule for an appointment CD2-4. Might be worth it to try and make two appointments into one to save money if you really want to get the testing done next cycle if you can.
Honorable mentions: Biggest IF support sister, sweetest bumpie, most genuine, LFAFer you'd most like to visit, great things come in small packages, pocket sized babe
@kfair001 - Since I accidentally walked into a door frame in front of my boss--not acting, actually did it--because I was randomly dizzy after skipping lunch, I think I pulled it off, sigh.
ETA @Dilynne - This is your first cycle off of BCP, right? I think its actually fairly common as your cycles sort themselves out again. I know its not the same, but my first postpartum cycle was annovulatory, followed by two with very short luteal phases before a cycle that I would consider normal. Even though the hormones are different, I would expect an adjustment time after birth control, too. Maybe keep temping and tracking, and see what happens after the next cycle. Also, if you hit CD 60 with no af, call your doc to get things moving.
@hunnybunny17 Thanks for the info. Yeah she said SHG but maybe once I go that route she will discuss in more detail. Cross that bridge when/if I get there.
R/R/CS: Basically, I had my IUD removed this cycle and I knew we were out before we started. I keep getting AF cramps for 2-3 hours and then they fade out. I just want AF to come so we can start fresh.

@kfair001 Hey you! I would agree with FF and CD18 for O. Looks like your timing is pretty good either way though! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope your day is kick-ass.
@l9i Pretty dress! I had a lace up corset in the back of my dress too and I just loved that. Mine was on sale too!
@hunnybunny17 Don’t feel bad about your reaction to your DH showing you that announcement! Our DH’s really do try and they definitely mean well, but sometimes it’s just too emotional for us to see that stuff, which I think is hard for them to understand. I’m thinking of you! PS your dress is beautiful!
@Dilynne oooh your dress is so pretty and you look amazing! I hope you get some answers about your CD/DPO situation soon!
@lisswastaken I loooove the red in that dress. That is really pretty! Sorry about the BFN, but 9dpo is still early!
@Sparty18 Hahahha that is so how I felt when I went to the doctor last week! Can’t wait to hear every detail of how it goes, good luck!
@britters314 well, let’s just be optimistic together! I think I’ve had a better TWW so far as well, so maybe being (cautiously? Lol) optimistic is the way to go. FX for us!
@LadyMillil I am so jealous that you had pockets in your wedding dress. It’s gorgeous!
@PaukMeKiande Every little temp drop on my chart has me thinking the same thing!! Ugh. Your temp is still well above the cover line though so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Your dress is beautiful!

DS born January 31st, 2017: Rory "Mac" MacKinnon
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 24/10
Timing: -2, -1, +2
Testing: Tomorrow morning if AF doesn't show tonight
R/R/CS: Feeling like AF is breathing down my neck, so I'm guessing that FF is right that I O'd earlier than I originally thought. Still, as many notes as I make in FF, I struggle to decide if I feel any different than "usual". I can say that my cramps and PMS aren't as bad, so far, as last month. But honestly, last month was particularly bad. I haven't necessarily accepted that I'm out yet, but that is the likely scenario.

CD1 for me (3 days early). Heading over to WTO.
Good luck, ladies! FX for BFP's.

@mrsjqg1024 I LOVE your dress!
@francesgrace630 That's a wonderful picture - so pretty!

Thanks to everyone who Birthday Chart Stalked me!!! I always appreciate the feedback. You ladies are the best!
@longliveregina Haha I’m the worst at “acting” sick. Hopefully you can pull it off though!
@sldp123 FX for a quick sale!
@Zoey1019 Sorry about the BFN.
@JediAlly85 nice timing this cycle! That’s exhausting! Good for you!
@whiska Sorry about the BFN but YAY for Paris! Have fun!
@kellybean1988 I’m kind of the same way this cycle too. I was feeling out all WTO but now optimism is starting to creep in and I’m trying to block it out! lol GL to you!
@MonaLisaRalphio, Sorry about the BFN but it isn’t over until the witch arrives! BTW, that dress is absolutely stunning!!!!
@clover28 sorry about CD 1.
@thj101 I’m hoping to not test either. We’ll see how long that lasts with me though!
@DoctorDonna Ahh all these name changes I just can’t keep up. I do like the new handle though!
@sLass42 FX that you can hold out until 4/15!!
@RatsPJ Yay congrats! H&H9M!!!
@beff12 FX for Wednesday! Our dresses were very similar! You look stunning!
@SnobunnieMel Sorry about the BFN, still early though! FX for you!
@jenmlangtake2 Glad you had a nice break from temping!
@I9i I’m feeling very pessimistic as well this cycle. FX that we’re both wrong!
@hunnybunny17 FX for when you do test at 13dpo!
@Dilynne I’m going to try and not test too but I usually cave at 10dpo. Literally every time!!!
@lisswastaken Sorry about BFN. Still early!
@Sparty18 That’s awesome that you’re so prepared. Good for you and way to take control! You go girl!
@britters314 Thanks for chart stalking!
No reason to disregard that temp on
CD18. Just because my temp didn’t dip
like it normally does and it did dip on CD 16.
And I’m losing confidence in my BBT because if I temp more than once in
the morning, the temps are never anywhere near each other. :S
@LadyMillil Pockets …. Amazing! I love that dress. It’s beautiful!
@PaukMeKiande Haha oh the BSC is starting early. I’ll be doing the same thing in a few days I’m sure!
@Aurora1973 FX for tomorrow morning! Love that dress. So nice!
@krisnicole23 FX that the line turns into something more!
@FrancesGrace630 FX that the spotting subsides and that you’re not out!
@mrsjqg1024 FX that you can hold out until Friday! P.S. Gorgeous dress!
@MrsRoss89 FX that AF gets here quick so you can move onto the next cycle!

R/R/CS: Hello. I've finally intro'd. Been lurking since last June, before trying. You guys were my research. I've learned a lot! I think I'm going to end up being here so I thought maybe I'd stop being a creeper and interact.... today is a lovely lazy day. I'm good.

@dogmomwantinghuman I'm not sure what you mean by dye test. You mean HSG/SHG? Those are generally done CD6-10. Most of the hormonal testing they'll want to do will have to be done at the start of a cycle but I think there are a few things (like AMH) that can be tested at any point. If your RE office doesn't have a long wait time and you know your LP, you could try to reschedule for an appointment CD2-4. Might be worth it to try and make two appointments into one to save money if you really want to get the testing done next cycle if you can.

@Dilynne - This is your first cycle off of BCP, right? I think its actually fairly common as your cycles sort themselves out again. I know its not the same, but my first postpartum cycle was annovulatory, followed by two with very short luteal phases before a cycle that I would consider normal. Even though the hormones are different, I would expect an adjustment time after birth control, too. Maybe keep temping and tracking, and see what happens after the next cycle. Also, if you hit CD 60 with no af, call your doc to get things moving.
