Went on and elevator to leave my apartment building. Forgot to push the button. Took several minutes before I realized why I hadn't moved. Wanted a cheese stick snack so I took the new package out of the cheese drawer and got some scissors to cut it open. Later that day my husband asked if there was a reason there were scissors in the fridge and a whole package of cheese sticks in the scissors drawer. Started a new job a few weeks ago and put my wrong date of birth on all of my paperwork which totally screwed up my health insurance.
I moved the microwave off the counter and set it on the stove so I could clean underneath it. A minute or two later DH walks in an freaks out because he sees smoke. Apparently the microwave had hit the knob to turn on the stove and was burning I had no idea despite being right next to it
Has anyone else started to cook and wondered why the stove took so long to get hot..just to realize that you hadn't turned it on?

@RideNRunMomma haha YES. I was trying to boil water for lasagna the other week and was so pissy because it was taking forever. Then my husband pointed out that the heat wasn't even on. I felt so stupid haha.
