I had one on Monday at 31 weeks, baby boy was measuring 3lbs 14oz and the doctor's said he is right on track. My doctor's don't give out percentiles.
@KidShrink and @kp90 growth scans aren't generally the norm, at least not around here. I actually had one scheduled for 31 weeks at the office who did my A/S and asked my midwife about it and she said it's not necessary unless they see an issue so I could cancel it, which I did. BUT because of my minimal weight gain and how small I was (even though my fundal height was measuring right on) they wanted to do a growth scan. That's why I had one done, and he's measuring right where he should be.

I had my growth ultrasound today. Baby boy was measuring 4 pounds, and 10 oz at 32 weeks. To think I had been worried he would be small from my high blood pressure readings. His head was measuring several weeks ahead! The doctor seemed happy with his growth and mentioned I am 6 ft tall so it's not surprising he's this big. I started weekly NSTs and will have them with a quick ultrasound to check on fluid levels.
It's always a good day when I get to see my LO playing in my tummy . I learned he is head down as of 33 weeks , measuring right on target for my due date and in between 3-4 pounds! Ive gained a lot of weight but all I care about it my baby is healthy and growing perfectly !
At 32 Week Ultrasound, Baby boy is weighing in at approximately 4lbs and is head down/face down and sitting low. He's been in this position the past few weeks- hoping he stays put!
Had a growth scan today at 32x5, my doctor had me have one since the umbilical cord is off center of the placenta. LO looked perfect, was head down and in the 73% weighing in at 5lbs 6oz. Can't believe she's that big already! Doctor said she's growing perfectly though
Curious as to whether growth scans are routine for you ladies? My last official scan was my anatomy scan. I've done a 3D at 28 weeks, but that was just for fun. As far as I know, there will be no other scans unless some issue arises.
I only had a growth scan because my doc requested it at 35w since there was a discrepancy in belly measurements (or whatever the technical term for that is) from one appt to the next. She just wanted to check to make sure baby wasn't too small.
I'm getting them weekly (first was this past weds) due to high bp, but no pre-e symptoms. I was 34+3 when had it done this week. She is 5.9 pounds and at 57 percentile. At this rate she is estimated 7.5 pounds at birth (+/- 15%). If it wasn't for the bp I would not be getting them. My next pregnancy I'll be over 35 though so it will be standard routine if I stick with this practice.
