I would really like to evict this baby this weekend. There is SO much going on at the end of the month (due 4/27) that I will miss out on for our other 2 kids if LO waits until closer to her EDD. Yesterday's appointment was awesome because they confirmed that she had flipped back into head down position, but there was a slight part of me that was disappointed because that meant I wouldn't be scheduling anything (c-section, which terrifies me, or a version). I so desperately want to go into labor on my own, since DD was a scheduled induction for pre-e, but if it could just go ahead and happen already, that'd be great. Even though I know she would be best to stay put for a while longer (I'm 37+2 today). Initially, I was ok with her staying put into the first week of May, but I am done. And I feel guilty being whiny about it when I know there are so many mamas here that are already overdue and more miserable. It's totally selfish of me. But still.........
I started my maternity leave two days early because I had a couple really painful contractions yesterday and just couldn't bear the thought of going into work. I'll regret it come paycheck time but I am right now SO GLAD to be home rather than at the post office!
I scheduled a blow out for as late as I could get for the night before my RCS. I really don't want the RCS but if I have to have it I might as well try to look nice in pictures.
DD2 is getting evicted in 7-12 days, depending on what hospital/Doctor availability is. After talking to my doctor yesterday, we decided if she doesn't decide to come on her own, I'm not going to go over my due date (maybe by one day) since she continues to just squeak by passing bpps. I'm really hoping for next Friday if she doesn't come on her own before
My first FFFC- I peed on myself not once but twice last night on my way to the bathroom. It only took me two times to then put a pad on and then not do it again all night. I blame getting up too fast and baby on my bladder.
Oh oh and happy it's my last day at work. However I got here and no one is in the office (they have a contest going on at a local HS) and I don't have a key so I'm sitting at a table in the hallway. Part of me is saying "Go home" but what if someone does come...
I am due 4/22 but really want baby to come sometime next week. (Of course I really want her to come when she's ready but this is flame free Friday right? Honesty all the way). My original due date was 4/13 and I have some (probably unreasonable) doubts about the dating scan done at 8 weeks because baby was pressed up against my uterine wall and my midwife couldn't do the measurement and the tech did it so fast and haphazardly I guess I'm just wishfully thinking the scam was small because of all that and 4/13 is closer to my due date than 4/22. And the scan puts my ovulation date at the day before I got my first BFP.... But I digress. I know she will be here when she's good and ready! The confession part of all of this is that I really want her to come a little early because my in laws and family won't be here until around 4/20 and I really would like to have the baby and do the hospital part without all the family. I would like it to just be me and my hubby and then we go home and have a few days and then all the family comes. My kid has 6 grandparents who are very excited which I know is a blessing but if they all come from out of state and arrive before baby comes I might lose my mind!!!
Every time I go in to the OB, I'm praying that they'll find something just wrong enough that I have to be induced right then and there (but not so wrong that baby and I are in any real danger). My body doesn't seem to be on board with that plan, which is probably for the best, but holy cow am I ready to get this fetus out of me!

I had this thought so strongly yesterday (except to be found in early labor instead of needing induced) that before I left for the doctor I put all my daily things that I can't pack in my hospital bag because I need them in the car for the drive...that went well
I keep hoping that either my water breaks or the contractions stick around so I can go in sooner than next week Friday.
I'm so glad that my maternity leave is during our "fund raiser season" at work because I hate feeling obligated to participate in bake sales, car washes, selling raffle tickets, etc.,
I'm so happy I'm starting my maternity leave a week early because it REALLY SUCKS trying to endure contractions while sitting in a meeting and walking down in the hallways while it feels a knife is piercing through my vagina and cervix.
I totally understand why second kids turn out "easier" than first kids - they are neglected:). I couldn't bear to let DS1 cry for a second, but with DS2, I pee, get myself some water, finish reading the toddler a book....I hope the benign neglect makes him into a better sleeper than his brother was.

I was totally relieved to be induced and not pregnant or worrying about my BP until I saw my lady bits this morning when I went to rinse. OMFG that was traumatizing and I'm not allowing my husband to look for fear he'll never be able to un-see it.
@AmadorRose I swear part of the reason Dr's want you to recover for six weeks before having sex is for that reason...although after 4 or 5 you won't care and neither will he.
I am so irrationally annoyed at DH right now. LO just (like 2 hours ago) had bilirubin level high enough that they decided to start phototherapy for next 24 hours. We were supposed to go home in 8 hours. I have been crying about it since they took him away from me to start therapy. DH on the other hand has been snoring away in bed next to me. I wish that I could sleep through this.

I feel like my insides are trying to slam their way out of my perineum when I move, so I find that hard to believe.

It's a boy! Grow baby, grow! EDD: 4/22/2016
He just has this insane, high intensity bark that immediately makes my blood boil. I mean, I feel like the hulk because I get so angry!
And he barks at everything - loud cars, trucks, people walking by, cats, birds, my fiancé coming home, etc.
im afraid I'll kill him if his barking wakes the baby when she comes. Ok, I won't kill him....but I'll want to. Badly.
How I I feel when he goes off...
