OMGGGGGG I love it!!!!! You make a great Danaerys! And that little dragon! Ahhh! I would love to go as Danaerys and Drogo but i don't think my husband would like to dress like Drogo. He'd be more into Ned or The Hound, Lol

@camichael84 Yes! I was so excited for my little goodie bag from MM. I didn't realize that places do goodie bags, now I'm excited to go start our registry!
Thanks for the UO update. I'm not even clicking on it, those are both topics that I could get heated about, and it's just not worth it. I don't think that we need to talk about pregnancy 100% of the time on here.. but I also don't come on here to argue politics/belief systems. I'm all about the light-hearted stories of experiences - good, bad, ugly, pooping issues. That's why I'm here.
@camichael84- that's what I thought!! Also, I was firmly planted on the couch with an Italian Ice by the time I saw the PB mug cake last night.. tonight could be the night though, that looked fantastic.
@camichael84 thanks for posting a flourless version of the recipe! It's supposed to be in the 30s this weekend and I can't wait to curl up in front of the fire with my cookie mug !!
Guys, I got a 3 bean chili into the crockpot this morning (chopped up all my veggies and measured my liquids last night). Dinner will be ready when I get home.. and it's something that we all eat (kiddo LOVES chili). Hooray for Friday evening made easy. I'm usually tempted to get takeout on Fridays, but not tonight! (Although that kind of opens the possibility of going out for ice cream or gelato.. doesn't it???) lol. And I wonder how on earth I've gained 15 pounds already
@AnnaS930 Chili sounds so good! And since it's freezing here, also appropriate. We are a big chili family (McKenna loves it, too), and we can make a big pot and eat off it for the whole week. It's going on the menu list for next week.
Temps here keep going into the 50s, then dipping back into the 30s. Also been really rainy/windy and even a dusting of snow here and there. BLAHHH! But at least it's chili weather
My random for today is also my TMI and WTF for this week - so sorry in advance. Out of all of the possible 'side effects' of pregnancy I think I would've taken morning sickness, bad gas, acid reflex, weird cravings, etc. But no, instead I got Cousin It growing out my ass. Why!? Just WHY!?
@LakeR2014haaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha. I'm sorry, that's just straight up fantastic. There's a rapper from Maine (yes just one, and he's not very famous) and a line in his only semi-popular song is "And the hair on my ass, it is Jumanji" which I think fits so well with your new growth. Can you use a trimmer on it? As long as it doesn't make it too short.. a stubbly/itchy butt crack is definitely not the end goal here...
@jhems776- hahahahahahah, ok I guess I didn't realize it had made it beyond Maine, good ol' Spose. I'm kind of obsessed with it. When it came out, I think my Facebook status was "I'm not even the bomb in Maine on my game I'm only about as sexy as John McCain" for a few weeks at least. He spoke right to me.

@AnnaS930 I've tried trimming, shaving, and I swear it grows with an unholy zeal. It's not what I'd think 'ass-crack' hair would look like either. No this is braid worthy hair. It just does not stop growing! If I wasn't so mortified about it I'd consider calling Guinness because hey if you're going to be in the book, might as well be for 'longest hair coming out of one's butt crack.'
I can't believe I am spending my big 3-0 birthday sitting at work. I just don't want to take unneeded days off! Good news is there is a baby shower with food for someone else today and tonight we are going to a Japanese steak house.
People keep asking me what I am doing this weekend and the answer is NOTHING and I am so excited about it! lounging around the house in my underwear with DH, catching up on the DVR, eating ALL OF the food. It is the perfect birthday weekend for an introvert like me!

@LakeR2014- You are winning this BMB this morning with these comments. I am laughing out loud at my desk like a crazy person. I will forever associate you with an ass-braid from now on.
I was quite obsessed with it too! Many people know it as my song. "Futher more I'm cornier than ethanol, Cheesier than provolone" My other fav parts maybe not ok on TB lol or for me to type out on my work computer...... For those curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYws8biwOYc
Something on or near me smells like the weird soap they used at the hospital when DD was born. I'm sitting at my desk sniffing around looking crazy. It's bringing back all the feels, damn hormones.
@kosmo86 Happy birthday! I hope you have a good day!
It being your 30th made me think of this post I saw on fb yesterday. It makes me with I could turn 30 again just to do this. Not necessarily the pics, but having a whole cake a bottle of wine to myself. (I was pregnant with DD for my 30th, so wine would have been out of the question. And I had GD, so cake was out, too.)
DH took off work today to play golf with my dad. He just got new clubs. Tee time 1:30. I was looking forward to half the day with him. And then he decided to also play golf this morning at 8:30 to "practice." And I can't oppose because it's his birthday weekend.

@AnnaS930I'm glad me and my ass-braid amuse you this morning. Honestly, if it wasn't happening to me I'd totally be all 'that's hysterical', but I'm still at the too mortified to let it be known part to DH. ....So he hasn't seen the backside of me in some time, which sucks as it's all but eliminated one of our fav positions. Right now I play it off as not in the mood, but I think eventually I'll either have to come clean or come up with something like 'I read somewhere the baby could feel it in that position and/or possibly even grab it.' I feel like both those circumstances would traumatize him enough from ever thinking about looking in the back let alone trying for some doggy-style action. Thinking more on this...this theory may need to be tested sooner than later.
So about this 10% registration completion discount and goody bags....can someone explain to me how it all works? I have heard that you get a discount on items on your registry even after the baby is born. If fact, my mom suggested I put an earlier due date when registering so my guests can use the discount. That sounded confusing and weird to me but has anyone actually done that? I have yet to start registering and would love more info. on the perks that go along with it!
@LakeR2014 Time for a Brazilian wax! I just got my clean-up done on Wednesday! I was relieved that it hurt less than all of the other times and I was told it would start hurting more the further I get in my pregnancy.

@blondie080300- we registered at Babies R Us last time and how it worked was: We entered a due date, once that date got close (I think 3 or 4 weeks away) we got a coupon in the mail from that that was good for something like 10% off of any item still on our registry that we had not yet purchased. I don't think the coupon would work for others to use, as it was just 1 coupon that came directly to us. We used that trip to return some of the things that we had received and didn't want as much as other registry items, or things that we had received in bulk (everyone seemed to buy our kiddo pack of pacifiers, we returned most). At that time we also earned rewards points on anything that people had bought off of our registry or anything we purchased, and those rewards came a little while after the due date (maybe 3 months?), but I remember them saying the program was changing, so no idea if you still earn rewards on other people's purchases or not... but it was a great $100 or so bonus gift card in the mail at the time.
@blondie080300 Buy Buy Baby and Target work like BRU. They send you coupon like a month before your due date that you can only use once. Also, I got 15% off from BRU and Target instead of 10% (I forget what BBB sent, I never used it). I'm going to be sad if they lowered it.
It could very well have been 15%, BRU currently has these rewards: 10% completion coupon that you'll get a little before your due date to use on anything remaining on your registry. You will also earn 10% on all purchases made off of your registry (by yourself or by shower attendants, etc). I think we had something like $1000 spent off of our registry (packnplays, high chairs, etc add up quick), and got a $100 coupon 12 weeks after baby was born - it was fantastic.
Goody bags are given to you when you register in-store at babies r us, no idea about registering online!
@blondie080300- mine keeps coming in little spurts! All of this week I was like Ooh, 13 pounds of weight gain, not too bad at 18 weeks, then a couple more hop on after what I'd consider a healthy day. Oh well! Last time my goal was to keep my pounds equal with or slightly below the number of weeks I was, and I ended up at 39 pounds up at 40 weeks (I went 10 days past my duedate and I don't think I weighed myself beyond the estimated due date). If you're being healthy and the weight is coming on a little quicker than you want - your body knows what it's doing and there's no use in fighting it or beating yourself up over it! A few extra pounds while pregnant is not the end of the world, I promise. With a healthy vegetarian diet after birth, and walking around holding baby/walking baby in stroller, etc it will fall off
