Long time lurker, new poster here
    also,
    **FF question**

     Month/Cycle:
    1/1

    CD/DPO:
35/16 (or maybe 11? See?? below)

    Testing:
timing was bad and I had a BFN yesterday so I'm planning on just waiting for AF at this point

    R/R/CS:
I felt generally crummy yesterday but I think it's just allergies.  I had the flu at the beginning of this cycle and I think that made me O late (first cycle temping but my cycle length is always 26-29 days) and I'm not sure I agree with FF's crosshairs...  See ?? Below
GTKY: If you could go back In time to any year, what year would you travel to?
This is hard! I really like right now!!!
if I had to pick, I think I'd go back to the 1950s and see if the good ol'days were really all that good--or if it's just more of the same....

FF didn't give me crosshairs until 7DPO, and given the length of my luteal phase at this point, I kind of wonder if I didn't actually O on what FF is calling 5DPO (see the handy arrow on my chart)

ETA-on my phone and the chart is tiny...if you guys have better tips on uploading, I'd appreciate it!  ETA2--I think i've fixed it--hope its not massive!
    DD1 (2008) DD2 (2010), #3 (DH's first bio kid) on the way in January 2017!
Almost always mobile bumping--forgive my typos. :)
  • Month/cycle: 10/9

    CD/DPO: 25/10

    Timing: -1, 0, +1

    Testing: Everyday - BFN

R/R/CS: Big .35 degree temp drop today. Still above CL, but my LP averages 14 days so it's too early for AF. Makes me wonder if FF is actually right in thinking O was CD17 and I'm only 8DPO. Who knows.

GTKY: The 1800s when the United States was expanding west.
  • So frustrated.  Help me please.

    Month/cycle: 10/10

    CD: 30/13

    timing: Ed except -2

    testing plans:  see below

r/r/cs: ok you all.  I am an average of 10 day LP.

10DPO I usually test so I don't feel too disappointed on 11DpO when AF comes.  BFN

11DPO:  no test.  Expected AF.  She didn't show

    12DPO: BFN

    13DPO:  BFN

i guess I'll keep testing until AF but I'm so so frustrated.  All my signs and temps pointed to CD17 as O.  What is happening to me?
    a. Lengthened LP randomly 10 months off BC
    b. Didn't ovulate cycle day 17 (this will be hard to tell since didn't temp past 6DPO, but I had a totes shift and it stayed up so I stopped checking).
    c.  Totes KTFU (I mean I know I'm not but I'm so flustered right now)

GTKY:  2010 cause I got married and that was uber fun.

@zdmd_14 from your tiny chart it's hard to tell but it looks like maybe Could have ovulated later (where the arrow is)?  If that makes you 11DPO id go with that.
  •  Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 19/5 or 3?

Testing: Likely next Friday morning (CD26) since I'm going to a Bach party

R/R/CS: Really annoyed with FF right now. I would put money that I ovulated on Sunday but for whatever reason I didn't get CH till this morning and FF put them on Tuesday. Hence the either 5DPO or the 3DPO. Also hoping it's 5DPO since that would make our timing amazing.

For the past week I've had strange cramps (fairly mild) on and off throughout the day. I have endo so it totally could be that but I usually don't get cramps like these until close to AF. Who knows. Trying not to be BSC but my emotions are crazy during TWW.

GTKY: If you could go back In time to any year, what year would you travel to?  This is a tough one. I would probably want to go back to college. Freshman year I would say. One of my favorite times!
  • Thanks @rkstro2  I think I fixed it...

  • Month/Cycle: 19/19

    CD/DPO: 27/11

    Testing: -3, -1, 0

R/R/CS: I had some cramping yesterday and I've had a headache for the last four days. I woke up this morning with my face looking like a mountain range. Which is odd for even me. I typically only get one zit,  maybe two. Nope. Apparently my body decided to make me look like a teenage boy. AF is impending, I'm 99.9% p ositive. I made my boo have S last night, since that n ormally makes AF show. We'll see. :/ I'm cranky today.

@kellybean1988 yay, happy to see you here!
@zdmd_14 I'm having the same kind of issues on chart, but I just started temping so hoping it'l even out. I can usually figure out O day for sure in hindsight when af comes :/
@clover28 eww STDs...I like to hit the glow when I get crazy about ss. They make me feel smart and less crazy...

    Month/Cycle:8/6

    CD/DPO: 43/7?

Testing: 4/4 bfn frer, 4/7 bfn ic

R/R/CS: Still here...waiiittinnnggg. Neg opk yesterday so I'm hoping cd36-ish was O day and I don't gear up again. I'm keeping on the opks just in case. BBT charting is helping but I've got pretty rocky temps with my weird sleep pattern. And I snagged  FF promo for 90 days for $10, that's relieved some stress because I'm off google now! Getting a little crampy so I'm thinking AF is finally on they way, but I've got some low pains that are weird (we did BD this am tho). Ugh let the ss begin.

GTKY: If you could go back In time to any year, what year would you travel to?
When DH and I first met. I'd let us know to save the money, get married earlier, and get off the BCP asap!!

*ETA: have to bump and run, but I'll scan through on mobile later. Boss is just dumping everything he doesn't wanna deal with on me. So now I'm receptionist, pickups, dropoffs, account rep, janitor, accounts payable, and walk-ins.....omg

    Cycle: 5

    CD/DPO: 22/11

    Testing: -5, -3, -2, O

R/R/CS: After testing 9 & 10 DPO (both BFN), I took a break today from testing. All signs point to AF arriving soon but I'm still a tiny bit hopeful (which will only hurt in the long run). Last night we went to a function where everyone was talking about their kids, and asking if we had any. The follow up to our "no" is always "why not? don't you want kids?" I started to get really flustered so H just steered me away and told me that earlier this week when he was asked if we were trying, his answer was "are you asking if I'm having sex with my wife?" I could not have loved him more in that moment and have decided that's going to be my go to answer from now on!!

GTKY: If you could go back In time to any year, what year would you travel to? Hard question! I think I'd like to go way back in time (a la Outlander), but then I remember I enjoy plumbing and electricity. So maybe the 60s?

  • @zdmd_14 - Based on your other indicators, it really looks like O happened when FF says it did. I get random dips like that periodically as well. I can't remember which months though, and if they were the months I ended up KU. I did it under an old FF account, and I don't have access anymore or I'd check. At any rate, Your temps are looking really high and that looks good. Are you getting sick or is it a natural high?

  • @MommyForTheFirstTime  I don't think I'm getting sick...I felt crummy yesterday but it seemed allergy related and i feel great today.
And I had a BFN yesterday. AND, if you go by FF's analysis, we had sex at -3 but DH kind of partially pulled out due to some difficulty finishing. Lol.  So the idea that my temps are high for a good reason just seems so unlikely....

  • @FrancesGrace630  A temp drop still above coverline isn't a bad sign, especially since it is still near other post-O temps. Don't stress about it - forest, not trees!

@rkstro2  I had a randomly longer LP one month, too (after about 9 months off BC). It happens. Hopefully for you it means you are KU and just haven't turned a test yet, though!

R/R/CS: I had what could have been an implantation dip this morning. I am trying not to get my hopes up, especially after consulting Dr. Google and realizing that sometimes non-pregnant women get dips and sometimes pregnant women don't have dips on their charts. Super helpful. All aboard the SS train!

Non-TTC related: We are visiting my parents tonight and I'm seeing some of my best friends from home tomorrow! Wooooo

GTKY: If you could go back In time to any year, what year would you travel to? I have always been fascinated with the 1920's - I guess specifically the early part because I'd rather not experience the Great Depression. If we're talking a year that I've been alive, I'd say my freshman year of college - 2006. I was a pretty good student in college but definitely could have tried harder and I think farting around my freshman year probably set a bad tone for the rest of my time there. I would definitely NOT date the loooooser that I decided to date that year if I could go back and do it over!

  • @britters314 Thank you! I needed that reminder :)
  • @zdmd_14 - I am certainly not one to give false hope. If anything, I tend to rain on people's parade. I'm not saying you are KU. Obviously I don't know. but your chart does look fairly good . Remember that sperm lives for a bit. It's totally possible they stuck around. In regard to him pulling out a bit, did some get in? Then it's possible. Sperm at masters at denying gravity. They are abundant.
    Now let me ask,
When you saying you "1/1" for your month/cycle, is that real? Have you been NTNP? What is back story? Do you have any known issues? I'd guess not if you've only been TTC for 1 cycle. If this is your first cycle temping, you have nothing to compare it to, which makes it hard. I don't have as drastic of an increase in temp, but you might always have  drastic rise. I love it because that's what I want to see. But again, it might be normal for you.
The only thing that I really don't like about your cycle is your BFN. at 16 DPO, you should have a BFP if you are KU, especially since you are a bit late.
Again, I'm not saying you are or you are not. I'm in love with the lovely rise of temp, but that BFN really throws it the other way. If I had to stamp one way or the other on it, I always err to the "not KU" side. A lot of people say "assume you are KU till AF shows" I am the opposite. I assume I am not until I get a BFP.
TL;DR, assume not KU, but keep temping, and testing till AF/BFP. I hope it's good news!

@beff12 Here is a study FF did on implantation dips. I'll quote the results:
    Here is what we found:
11% of charts that showed ovulation but did not result in a pregnancy displayed this pattern.
23% of charts that showed ovulation and did result in a pregnancy showed this pattern.
Of the pregnancy charts that showed this pattern, the most likely days for the dip to occur were between 7 and 8 days past ovulation.

ETA: Even though I know this I'm still always like "...maybe? " when I see an "implantation dip" on my chart. It isn't even that uncommon for me to get them and they never seem to mean anything. And yet, they still play with my emotions a little.

    @MommyForTheFirstTime
We have mostly been NTNP, DH's job
was also out of state until recently so we only saw each other every couple of weeks for a little while--not many opportunities to try/prevent.  No known fertility issues.
As for the pulling out, some may have gotten in, but I'm not sure. If I were TTA, it would have me worried though.

    So frustrated.

@rkstro2  Ive been trying to find info about randomly lengthened LPs as well but haven't found much info at all.  Hope you get some peace of mind soon!

  • @beff12 Here is a study FF did on implantation dips.

I was just reading this because I had a dip today too (7dpo) and below that FF also says that a dip doesn't mean you are pregnant, but it does mean the probability of you being KU is higher. Stop it, FF! You're not supposed to encourage this lol
  • @beary67  Haha, I had to teach a class right away this morning so I didn't have time at first. I did give them a lab during the second half of class and definitely started my googling then, though lol
  • @tentoeturbo  That's my favorite GTKY answer so far. ☺️
Will you have better timing next month as far as DH not being out of town?

Thanks for the info, @NamelessAria! That's kind of how I felt. Even though I know it's not conclusive evidence, I still got a little excited. @britters314, here's hoping that our dips are meaningful dips. Any time I feel/see anything that means I could even slightly possibly be KU, I'm all...

Aww, thanks! She was an amazing woman and I miss her fiercely. And yes, DH is back home for the foreseeable future so next month looks MUCH more promising!
