I love LulaRoe leggings.  They are simply amazing.  And I will pair it with an Irma or something...

But I don't understand the obsession.  I think the prices are ridiculously high for what looks like homemade clothing.  Patterns are often sewn crooked.  Most of the prints are terribly ugly (exception - except for on leggings).  And any consultant I have met has no return policy - just replace.

  • I can't stand people discussing their private affairs in public spaces. I DGAF about a detailed description of your relative's health issues. You talk loud and obnoxious. Go away moron.

@NicknShan This reminded me of one.....

Leggings are not pants! If you're going to wear leggings, please wear a shirt long enough to cover everything and leave some stuff to the imagination. I don't need to see up your butt or know if you have a camel toe or not.
Haha! I'm wearing/loving my maternity leggings right now!

worse: couples ARGUING about their private affairs in public spaces.
I had a fb friend who would post EVERYTHING about her relationship on FB. I'm talking about a "woman" in her mid 30's with 3 children. I use to be friends with her as a child, our parents had a 8 year relationship when we were younger, but I unfriended her after her boyfriend "hacked" her page and talked, in detail, about their sex live, including how good she tasted in the morning! WTF is wrong with people! Sorry to "hack" you're post, but I had to share that one. Also, always posting about fights and his mental illness and what not, but the details were enough to make me judge hard and delete.

  • I have a couple....

    1) when people at Starbucks are on their phone waiting for their drinks, see one that looks like it could be theirs and grabs it without checking the name. Hi, sir, I'm fairly certain you're not a female with a female name.... GTFOff your phone and listen to what's being called and what's written on the cup.
    2) when the Starbucks barista overflows your cup because they put too much ice in it. I normally wouldn't complain, except now I have iced caramel macchiato drips on my shirt.
    3) people in Southern California just do not fucking understand how to drive in the rain. ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT!!! Use your brain! Slow down a little, blinkers are your friends, and don't you tucking dare be honking at me because you're the idiot who forgot we can drive unless it's 78 and sunny and now you're about to be late to work. Asshole....
    4) why do gas stations have to have such dramatic differences in prices?? The shell station is $3.39, across the street chevron is $3.19, and Arco is $3.09 but is debit only, same with Costco (unless you use Costco card). And my discover card is 5% cash back at gas stations.

    Thats all for now lol.

  • Mine... although I doubt it's unpopular.

Currently working on hiring someone new at work and going through dozens of resumes.

Resumes with misspelled words get fed through the shredder 100% of the time.

I went through about 30 yesterday and kept 5 on this philosophy alone. If you can't proofread your resume I don't want to hire you.
LOL @ahernandez16 I've wanted to mark up resumes with a red marker and send them back before, but why should I make the effort if they dont?

  • sdLindenberg Wow..gas is cheap here. The most I saw was $1.92.

My UO is people who complain they don't have enough money when they go around buying their 15 year old daughter a used jaguar. Oh and this women kept saying, "It's not new, It's used." Who cares? Must be nice to have your parents buy you a fancy car before you're even on the road driving. The gall of some people who flaunt their money..sheesh! Or the ones who still complain they're broke when they spend like 400 a month on their cell phone bills. News flash! You don't have to have the most data in the world on your freakin cell phone!

  • @sdLindenberg- the driving thing happens here all the freaking time, except it's when it snows. We live in MINNESOTA. You HAVE to know how to drive in snow.

Also, gas is $1.88 here. Sorry ;)
  • @GinnyJ2012 I completely agree with your UO!

also, gas is 1.89 here.. 3 something a gallon?! What?!

    And I don't have a UO today!
  • @TNvols27 @kbequette08 California problems, lol. Gas is "cheap" where I live right now at $3.37. It was below $3 a month or so ago and people were going nuts.
  • @Sgoldberg247- haha! I was really holding back on that one.
  • This is probably unpopular but I hope the gas prices go up soon, I miss my bonuses, raises, and job security.

Damn.  I got pissed off when gas went above $2 here a few weeks ago. I knew California always has high prices but that's ridiculous!

A few years ago we literally had about 3 months where it was above $4 and a week or so where it rested above $5. It was awful.
  • It varies around here. But the most here is $1.92 most around $1.82 or less

This one takes the UO cake.
Please don't hate me, I'm not a filthy rich oil exec or anything. I'm just a working class lady who now hasn't had a bonus in over a year or a raise in two. When I took my job I didn't push the salary issue because I was told bonuses were generous...total fail.
  • Maybe this is more suited for a FFFC, but since it is a popular topic on here...

I do not understand US gas prices at all! Are these prices good? Bad? How to they compare to the prices here? I have noooooooo clue, lol.

This was totally going to be my UO. Gas is anywhere from $1.50-$1.90 here. Don't get me wrong, it's nice for a little while, but when friends and relatives start to panic about layoffs then I'm over it.

It depends on what you're comparing to.  Gas (where I live) is current $2.09 for a gallon.  Canada does liters for gas, right? Theres 3.78 liters to a gallon and then factor in whatever the exchange rate is for US to Canadian $$.  This is the cheapest gas has been since I got my driver's license and I can fill my car for around $20 so I'm super excited and hoping prices stay right where they're at!

@DeePaddy24  $1.90 here is about $2.50 in Canada. That's per gallon. I think the average midsized car has about a 12 gallon tank. So cost about $23us/ 30 ca vs almost twice that in Cali
  • @DeePaddy24 I can't speak for how gas is sold in Canada but for comparison, when I got my drivers license, (1999) gas prices were .99 a gallon. Over the last 2-3 years they were as high as almost $5 a gallon. Most recently they have dropped back down to $1.75-$1.90...

There are parts of Texas where it gets that expensive, but it's very uncommon. I just happen to live within minutes of two of the worlds largest refineries. We never truly experience the price gouging that the rest of the world has to suffer through as a result. What does end up happening is that a lot of people start to lose their jobs. I would happily pay the same $3-$5 per gallon if it meant that I wouldn't have multiple friends and relatives out of jobs. Although, I do realize that not everyone can afford to do that and both situations are equally frightening for different types of families.

Edited because the app is stupid and tagged @sdnybrk1 for no reason at all.

  • LOL, thanks for the help ladies! I can't math today (or, any day really). However it all works out, I'm positive it's much cheaper to fill up in the States than it is here...especially with the exchange rate right now. Filling a tank for $20?! I'm not sure I've ever been able to do that, lol.
