1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
10 weeks and expecting di di twins
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
I am really excited about my first prenatal appt this Friday. I've had 2 ultrasounds but no in depth appts so far and I'm looking forward to getting my questions answered.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I am super bummed to have gotten my second cold of the pregnancy so far, only 2 weeks after recovering from my first! Ugh it's so uncomfortable and being congested makes my morning sickness worse. On the positive side, we told my parents this week about the pregnancy. I have a very difficult relationship with them, especially my mom. But they actually handled it really well and were excited for us. I'm feeling hopeful about having their support, but I am also trying to keep my expectations realistic because they have disappointed me many times in the past.
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
I think we would like to stay in the US and are hoping to travel before 28 weeks for sure. We are considering Miami or Hawaii.... I want to ask my dr this week about any travel restrictions before making plans.
Re: Moms of multiples weekly check in: Monday April 4th
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
11 weeks and expecting di di twins.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
I have my NT scan coming up in 9 days. I'm pretty nervous but trying to stay positive. My dr seems to think this is going to be an easy pregnancy.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I went to the ER this week with some spotting that turned to bleeding and it was honestly the scare of a lifetime. Everything is checking out fine though, strong heartbeats on both ducklings, and they are wiggling around like crazy at every ultrasound! Still can't catch them with a doppler though... The ER doc gave me some antibiotics for a UTI I didnt know I had, and it makes me really feel sick, and the day i started the pills i got a sinus infection. I don't want to load up on meds and drug my babies up, but I am so miserable. I can't sleep, I can't breathe, and this post nasal drip makes me gag until i puke.
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
No babymoon plans... but we are looking into buying a house. Not so much celebratory as a necessity. I just can't imagine a future with 2 4 year olds cooped up in an apartment. I was raised in apartments and i know there's nothing wrong with it (I'm fine, after all) but i just want to have my family in a house...
@ChefWalker Sorry you have another cold. That sucks when you're already feeling all these other symptoms to begin with.
Glad your babies are doing good @lmno304!
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
13weeks, 2 days; di/di twins (at least 1 boy according to informaseq results!)
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
My anatomy scan is not until 5/9. I'm so ready to find out if it's boy/boy, or boy/girl twins. One baby is measuring smaller than the other, so I'm hoping it's boy/girl since I already have a 3 yr old son, but will be happy either way. I feel like I can't really start nursery planning until I know. I've pinned a few ideas, but nothing is concrete for me at this time. Anyone else feel that way?
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I thought this morning sickness was gone. Boy, was I wrong. Beginning to think it'll be like my first pregnancy and last the entire time. Could just be allergies though, everything here is covered in pollen, and I'm one of the lucky ones who suffers year round from allergies. Yay me!
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
I want to take DS on a weekend trip to a local beach as a potty training prize. Nothing fancy, but just to recognize his accomplishment, and sort of some quality time before the babies get here. I feel guilty how much our lives are going to change when they get here and know we won't be able to do as much, especially the first year.
We usually go to the mountains for 4th of July to visit the inlaws, but my doctor said we'd have to wait and see how things are progressing then before she'd sign off on a 5 hour car ride that late in our pregnancy. It would be right at the very end of my 2nd trimester.
Future question suggestions: nursery planning, cars/car seats, sleeping arrangements for twins, recommendations/tips from been there/done that multiple moms. (I'm surprised how many twin moms I already have in my circle of friends, and a few have reached out to me already with some advice.)
Hi ladies! I would like to jump in on this check-in
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
12 weeks 5 days with twins via IVF, first time mama.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
NT scan 1 week from today
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I have been getting killer headaches every.single.morning. It makes me think my body is trying to tell me something, like I get low/high on some hormone or something through the night. Because it happens without fail every morning. And its the pounding headache where you feel your pulse in your eyes. Within about 3 hours of getting up its gone. Very wierd.
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
We have not made any travel plans. But its hard to think about traveling when you feel like crap! If we do anything, it will most likely be something rather simple, maybe a long weekend somewhere. DH is super paranoid about Zika so that may hinder things as well.
Ideas for future QOTW - ideas on gender reveal parties, nursery decorations, registries, plans for taking time off work, childcare plans, must-have gadgets.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I'm so excited to find out what we are having so we can go clothes shopping while my mom is in town!
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
Nothing major. We travel often in the summer to Brianhead and Laguna.
Me: 28 DH: 27
This is from my phone the the format might come out weird
I'm 11 weeks 2 days with twins
Next mile stone is getting another ultra sound in about a week. Making sure eveyone is healthy and happy in there. (I wanna see my babies!)
No rants or raves but as of this week I have told my bosses and employees which was a big deal for me so it's really getting real now!
No baby moon plans as of know but we live in Colorado so I'm guessing when it warms up a little some time up in the mountains.
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
14weeks 1day; di di twins.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
I got a super quick u/s at my appt this morning, but really looking forward to the big one on May 4. Can't wait to get a more thorough look at them and find out what we're having!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I'm feeling great and only gained one pound the past 6 weeks, definitely sporting a little bump now. Only complaint is how even taking it easy I wind up feeling so tired and sometimes crampy after pretty much any errands or exercise.
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week?
1. I'm 14w1d with di di twins.
2. Next milestone will be my 16 week ultrasound. I can't wait to see my babies again. I've had a few bleeding episodes (which the doctor says is normal due to the blood thinners I'm on), but I still feel nervous until I see those beating hearts.
3. Rants - exhaustion!! I'm too tired to elaborate:).
4. If we go on a babymoon, it will probably be within driving distance. We live in the SF bay area, so there are lots of options!
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting? 14 1/2 weeks and expecting di di twins2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?seeing a perinatal office on the 18th to check to make sure babies are good. Excited for an extra ultrasound but nervous to have to see a high risk Dr3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:rave- my company announced today that starting in June they will offer 16 weeks paid parental leave-so amazing!!! Rant- hormones suck. I'm getting pimples in weird spots (sorry if tmi) but I haven't missed pimples from my teenage days!4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes? Also, do you have any suggestions for future questions of the week? @mkonrade We are also in CO so mountain trips are likely for a baby moon
for future.. Thoughts on breast feeding, daycare/nannies, nursery set ups
1. How far along are you and how many babies are you expecting?
11w4d with (surprise!) di di twins
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
NT Scan and Genetic Screening on Monday. I can't wait to see them again. My doctor didn't order an ultrasound at last week's perinatology appointment (even though it's routine). This is a very high risk pregnancy and to top it off, severe nausea and pregnancy related hyperthyroidism have made me lose 13 lbs so far. I NEED the reassurance of the ultrasound!!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
While I feel blessed to have the hope of these two babies after losing my son last year, I'm really irked I have to research a double stroller and figure out how to now get TWO babies and all their stuff into a 9x10 nursery. That and I am soooo done with all the barf.
4. Question of the week: Have you started making any baby moon or other celebratory plans for before the baby comes?
Doc says I'm grounded. No travel for me.
2. I'm looking forward to my 4 month scan next friday. I'm nervous as always, but my hubby keeps reassuring me that everything is going to be fine. I refused the NT and genetic screening, I'd rather not have a statistic that'll make me be even more scared, and most likely won't be accurate 100%. I think after my level 2 ultrasound I will feel much much better.
3. HOLY SHIT MY BACK IS KILLING ME! I thought this wouldn't happen till later. But I'm getting big so fast, my sciatica is going crazy. Going to the chiropractor again today to see if that helps. Heartburn is crazy too! And I am craving spicy food like a mofo!
4. We have no plans to celebrate. But honestly, every time I get to tell another person I'm pregnant, it's like a tiny celebration. I'm cool with staying right where I am!
