Do mittens ever stay on?!

Every night, LO goes to bed with Gerber mittens on and every morning he has Houdinied out of them and has numerous scratches on his face. Any suggestions?!

The onesies with built in mittens are the only thing that worked for us! I'm also vigilant about keeping LOs nails clipped (or rather chewed down)

We gave up on the mittens after about 2 days. The onesies with the built-in ones were great until LO outgrew his newborn stuff. I've never seen them in bigger sizes. We just file his nails a couple times a week

I LOVE these mittens from Amazon. They never come off. I've been using them from day 1. She was tiny & the items still stayed on 24/7 unless we took them off. She's 10 weeks now & we still use them as needed.

Old Navy has PJs with the built in mittens for bigger sizes. Plus they're stretchy, soft, and snaps, which are all the best qualities of baby PJs!

My son loves the sleeping gowns (or maybe that's me lol) but outgrew the carters as they're only one size and at 2 months he was 13lbs lol but at Walmart I found some in 0-6 month size so they're even a little big on him AND they have the hand covers

I found it hard to find onesies that cover the hands after Newborn, but we use socks I bought from Babies R Us, they stay on much better than the mittens (and they stay on the feet really well too!)

This. LO is obsessed with her hands so we don't use them for sleep but they are great for going outside!

These are what we used also. Plenty of room to grow and hands can't escape!

I haven't heard of them being a choking hazard. My little guy gets cold hands. And if we turn up the heat he gets too hot. So mittens it is. He also tends to scratch himself overnight. This eliminates that.

Had to introduce my 12 week old to mittens this week. No matter how short her nails are, she's losing her mind with this ear infection and scratching the crap out of her face and ears... poor baby. And yet, I find the biggest problem is that her 15 month old brother keeps taking the mittens off of her and running away with them.
