I really like my supervisor but last week Friday she forwarded a patient complaint out to the rest of the medical staff that mentioned names of the people involved before reading it. She was trying to clarify a procedure but left the names of people involved. She later realized what she did and she later put out an email asking everyone to delete it and apologized to the people involved in the initial incident for putting it out there. She spent pretty much all of yesterday doing damage control for her slipup.
I have been working my butt off trying to get things put away and settled/cleaned before I go on leave. With the way I'm hurting, it's hard. DH normally doesn't offer to help. I had a bunch of big cardboard boxes from hand me downs stacked in the entry room right now because they need to be broken down and moved. Today, DH got sassy about them being there and wanting to move them to the garage. I said they needed to be broken down first. He just glared at me and I was like.. dude, there is stuff in the hallway that's been there for TWO MONTHS that you have made no effort to help move but you can't handle some cardboard boxes in 'your way' for two days? Kiss my ass.
I have been trying to get in touch with my customer since last week about a complicated project that we are working on. He e-mailed 3 questions to me that I have previously explained, so I am trying to get him on the phone to discuss. I also am needing the answer to a question I posed to him a week+ ago. Dude knows that TODAY could be my last day before leave. He needs this ASAP and knows that we need to be in agreement before moving forward.
Multiple e-mails and voicemails to him have gone unanswered.
My husband was on dinner/cleanup duty for the house last night and I offered to help him cook. Of course, this turned into me cooking the entire meal, and then he loaded and started the dishwasher and went to bed, totally forgetting to do the rest of the dishes, wipe the counters, anything. So this morning instead of a nice relaxing breakfast on my exercise ball I unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher and handwashed a massive number of dishes because otherwise our housemates who are on dinner duty tonight would be screwed over. Come on, man, I'm 39 weeks pregnant. SUCK IT UP. DO YOUR WORK.
There is a special circle of hell for people who use the last coffee cup at work and don't restock from the cupboards. If my pregnant ass can handle that, so can you.
Mine goes to the new HR twat that just tore apart several staff members at the luxury hotel we put all our executive customers and in her case executive candidates. I have worked hard for the last year to have a great working relationship with them and she threw that out the window in one phone call.
I want to go down and start unleashing on the entire department as my temp isn't starting until the 18th (my dd) and they refuse to push any candidates through to our AP department so we've pretty much thrown out good business practices out the window. You can't ship product with out first paying for it, or at least sending an invoice.

THIS. Totally went through this two weeks ago. Took me a week of being furious and explaining WHY he should do his chores for him to understand that it ain't easy walking up and down the stairs with a laundry basket when you can barely see your toes.
Everyone. Everyone is a twatwaffle today because my ILs plan to stay with us for at least two weeks AND plan to be at the hospital the moment I go into labor.
I'm going to say DH. He's having a hard time understanding why it's more important for in-laws to stay at home with DD during my labor until baby gets here versus sitting in a hospital waiting room with a 2 year old. He's also failing to comprehend that induction does not equal instant baby. Pretty sure he equates hospital room to 2 hour labor. Um just no. You're a second time Dad. You should know better.
To everyone asking for a daily update. My parents who don't agree with our visiting preferences but will "support" it while throwing a fit and guilt trip. DH who thinks I can go back to normal after 10 weeks of strict bedrest and with only a week and a half left before LO is born for sure. My body that just keeps giving me false hopes of labor and coming up with new ways to torture me.
But it at least Tuesday is almost over. I always hated Tuesday's.
