WAYDTGKU: sex. aiming for two days on, one day off this cycle (we got almost ED last cycle from CD4 until CD20, which was a bit much, I think). We only started on CD9 this cycle though because I was sick and we had company before then...but I think we started early enough (and, bonus, we didn't sex ourselves out before prime time like we sometimes do...we're like, "omg AF is gone, HIO always!" and then by the time FW comes, we're like, "omg, we're so over HIO all the time"...
R/R/CS: my back has been sore lately....it seems to be getting less sore each day which is good, but it's been hard to get to sleep because of it. *TMI* HIO last night before bed helped it stretch out nicely, actually
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? I don't regularly drink alcoholic beverages, so I don't really have a "favourite", but I know I like rye and ginger....I also had a coke with a cherry something in it at a party once and it was super good....like a hard cherry cola

@juliebeannn Your poor husband haha Hopefully you get some BDing in today and still end up with good timing.
@canavara I'm right there with you on not really being one of the people who can overlay charts and see clear, consistent patterns. I can usually pinpoint O easily enough but beyond that? Yeah no.
@linzrunz Sorry about the migraine. Hopefully you feel better soon.
@Dilynne The friend is 17? I'd assume that is why the mother is putting barriers on the shower. I mean, I can only imagine that if I had a 17 year old child who wanted to get married I wouldn't want to encourage that with bridal showers and stuff. I'd probably be hoping that she decided to wait a little longer. But then that may be a cultural thing.
@Rottiemom86 Sorry about the migraine. I'm glad you're feeling better today.
@gonetothesea Yay on AF leaving. I like your gif. I love Joan from Madmen.
@Mashunya425 I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to get the all clear from your doctor. I remember what it was like to be immediately post-MC and how much better I felt knowing DH and I could start trying again whenever we felt emotionally ready. Hopefully you get your rainbow baby soon.
@QueenSunscreen Haha I'm you do look cute! It's always nice to feel good about yourself when you're getting ready for the sex marathon.
@BecauseLove I'm not sure what it is like traveling to the EU but I know my DH went on a cruise to the carribean a couple of months ago and just took one of those daily pill cases. Ya know the ones with sections for each day of the week. And he just put a multivitamin and whatever else he wanted to take in each day. He said he didn't have any trouble with TSA/customs or anything doing it. Which honestly surprised me a little.
@LadyMillil Yay for temp rises! I read your thing yesterday about your DH's 54 million sperm when he needed 1 million. That's so great! I was very happy for you both that everything is going well so far.
@PaukMeKiande I'm sorry that you're not feeling hopeful about this month. Hopefully you and your DH will be able to work it out so that you have decent timing.
@PennStateCait I'm sorry about all the stress over the decision to TTC or TTA this cycle. I know that can't be easy. The month my DH got back from his cruise to th carribean a month or so after the whole Zika thing started we talked about it and decided to keep TTC since he didn't have any mosquito bites and such. I do remember being uncomfortable with the decision and it wasn't an easy one. I'm actualyl kinda glad those cycles weren't BFP cycles because I know I would have beeninsanely worried.
@virginiaham Hopefully your levels go back to normal soon. I know how hard it is to wait on all that. It felt like a literal eternity waiting for my levels to fall and to O so we could start back TTC. I know it wasn't actually that long but it felt like it was. I'm so sorry that you're having to go through all that. Lots of hugs.
@LadyBrettAshley23 I'm sorry about the cold! I hope you feel better soon.
@kfair001 Hopefully you get your positive OPK soon! FX'd I can't really offer seduction advice with how badly I've been failing lately. So don't do what I've been doing I guess.
@SteelerFan3878 Oh you're braver than I am to be trying out Vitex. I thought about taking it since I usually O later in the cycle but I don't know. I'm a worrier and I was scared I'd just end up having an anovulatory cycle instead of simply Oing late. Hopefully it works for you!
@mrsdee15 For what it is worth, though my experience has no bearing on yours, I used to have really long, heavy periods and then they just got really short. They've been 2 days now for a year or so and haven't gotten shorter or stopped. I talked to my doctor about it and she was 100% not concerned. So I'd say just enjoy the shorter period. I can understand why it would be concerning though because it freaked me out a bit also.
@MrsJ2410 haha as you should be! It's really hard to pee in those wrappers. At least half the time I pee all over my hand. I've decided I'm not talented enough for it and only do it in emergency POAS situations.
@babymish Hopefully you don't have to wait too much longer to O. I may have to get this book you're talking about. I've been debating it. Is it good?

@NamelessAria thats kind of what I was thinking. I'm not really worried because I used to have 2-3 days of bleeding (usually 1 day of pretty heavy) and then 2 days of brown spotting at the end throughout high school and maybe first year of college. Before DS I was at 3 days total, no spotting ever. After him I was 5 and I've pretty much stayed there. I haven't spotted since high school but last night and this morning were brown spotting. Who knows! maybe this'll give me the luck of a high school girl and I'll totes be KTFU soon! lol sorry, I'm punchy today for some reason.

@NamelessAria I'm only into the first section of the book which talks about BPA's found in plastic and receipts and the effect it has on egg viability - but so far it is so good!
It goes into a lot of detail about the studies which indicate the effect BPA has and how to avoid it. It is also making me feel better about 'why' I may not have conceived yet...rather than someone just saying "it takes a healthy couple up to a year to conceive". It actually goes into the reasons why it may not have happened each month, which makes me feel a little less of a failure and in the dark and now feel like it's possible able to influence things for the better.
Thank you @sldp123@Queensunscreen@LadyBrettAshley23@NamelessAria and anyone else I may have missed (struggling to mobile bump here) I really appreciate all your input! We leave out of country on Sunday, so I have to see if I can get an order by then. FX! If not, Walmart here I come.
OMG YOU GUYS!!! I just got a call and they accepted my referral without the SA. I feel like such a brat now since I complained before but now I'm trying so hard to contain my excitement while at work (I work with a bunch of middle aged men and they wouldn't understand this excitement). Thank you all for your reassurance... I think your support worked! Now I have my appt on April 22nd!!!

I read on TWW Tuesday (someone explaining it to someone else) that it has to do with some people's cycles being longer than a month, so if you have 2 45 day cycles, you have only been TTC for 2 cycles but its been 3 months. But IDK! Someone wise weigh in! (please )
Thank you ladies for all the support! I really appreciate it.

I don't think there is a set science to it and some people may do it differently, but typically month = how many months you have been ttc and cycle = how many cycles. Usually they amount to the same number but if you have shorter or longer cycles than an average month the number will differ.
WAYDTGKU: waiting for AF to leave at the moment. I just got new whole food PNV's and my first ever wondfo HPT's today. I always thought they were too hard to read cause they're so small but I don't want to keep spending so much for BFN's.
R/R/CS: I don't want to jinx myself but I feel kind of confident about this cycle. I don't know why since AF hasn't even finished and we haven't been able to do anything yet. Maybe it has something to do with my EDD being January and that's my birthday...
When AF hit Sunday I was so low that I was looking at all these different "fertility vitamins". I seriously considered buying some but the more I read about actual vitamins that can help support fertility/hormones/overall health it lead me to find a better PNV that has way more vitamins in it. Here's to hoping.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Coffee!!! And girly drinks that don't taste like alcohol. I like Seagrams, Kinky mixed with Mountain Dew, pina colada, or something like vodka and cranberry.
*TW - loss mentioned* Mashunya425 I'm sorry to hear about your loss! My cycles so far (3rd) after a D&C have been longer than normal. Who knows if I ovulated the cycle right after, my temps were all over the place (I'm guessing not). Hang in there and keep your spirits up!

oooooooh, ok I totally misunderstood this, too. I thought... say I've been TTGP for 6 months but benched for 2 months I would put month/cycle: 6/4
I have to be honest, I'm 30-35 days usually.... not enough for me to recalculate lol

@sandwichlover My mom, DH and I are addicted to Mio and each have 'our' flavours (Mom - Fruit Punch, DH - Lemonade, but he drinks it with club soda, and me - Cherry Blackberry). My mom also loves vanilla vodka with her fruit punch Mio and water .
@kfair001 I love the Coco Melon Palm Bay the most! Tastes like summer! And I LOVE Somersby, both for the taste of it and the fact that lots of places have it on tap. So if I'm with a bunch of people drinking beer and I want to look like I'm cool and drinking beer too, I'll order it.

I don't see why you can't do that too...
Some might say 4/4 + 2TTA
Yeah, I don't think there are really any hard and fast rules here. Sometimes people add disclaimers for months they were NTNP versus actively TTC, etc. But honestly I think it's all fine. I'm like @ladystinson, my cycles have been about 27-32 days and I have never bothered to recalculate how many "true" 30-31 days months it has been. I think the only time that really comes into play is if you have extremely long or extremely short cycles to where it really gets thrown off. But like right now I guess I'm technically in my 9th month but 10th cycle... but in a few days I'll be at 10/10. So for simplicity I will just say "10" most of the time since it's really not a huge difference.

This. I have short cycles so I'm on month 13 but cycle 15. I also update my month on the 23rd because that's when we started trying, but others update on the 1st because it's easier to remember.
OK, last reply session of the day then headed home. Hope everyone
enjoys the remainder of your Tuesday!
@juliebeannn I’m so
sorry DH shot you down last night! I totally understand about being tired from
a workout, but that still sucks. Good luck, hope he feels better soon!
@thj101 another member of the La Croix club! Love it!
@canavara OK honestly
that black cherry bitter cold brew coffee with coconut milk sounds amazing!!!
Wow!
@linzrunz I am so
sorry about what happened with your MIL, but am glad your DH has been really
sweet. Hope that situation is on the up
and up!
@Dilynne OK wow, you’re right—the situation with your
brother’s girlfriend—who does that? So crazy.
And a Kahlua milkshake sounds amazing right now, especially cause our
office is as hot as hades . Blech.
@l9i I can’t tell the
difference between decaf and caffeinated either! When I found out there was
such a thing as decaf espresso I rejoiced. Most people think I’m nuts!
@Rottiemom86 So sorry
for your migraine, but glad you are feeling better today!
@gonetothesea Woohoo,
AF has left the building! I also enjoy amaretto sours.
@Mashunya425 *TW* I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of
you, take care of yourself, and enjoy that wine!
@QueenSunscreen I
agree, I always feel sexy when gearing up to O. Milk that for all that it’s
worth, you sexy vixen, you!
@BecauseLove I wish
I could be a morning person! I try so hard and it just doesn’t work. Have fun
overseas!
@LadyMillil I also
enjoy me some sparkling wine..mmmm.
@kaityh1 Hoping AF
leaves soon! I also feel silly when ordering decaf coffee, but I do it anyway,
lol.
@PennStateCait I
understand that your DH is uneasy but that can be frustrating for you. FX maybe
he opens to the idea a bit in the next few days!
@ladystinson I
totally understand how sparkling water could taste like tonic water to you! It’s
not for everyone. I had to have the week
with no carbonation before trying it so that it wouldn’t initially taste awful
to me --I used to drink a lot of pop, and that really helped. Iced tea is good
too though!
@kfair001 Ahh sorry
you think you’re going to be later than normal with O! That is frustrating. Maybe we will be able
to move over to the TWW around the same time!
@Steelerfan3878 I
hope your cycle length is able to be shortened as well, FX!
@NamelessAria Thanks about
the labs! We don’t mind you hanging around here at all. I also love pumpkin spice and peppermint
mocha…yum.
@mrsdee15 my period
was a full 6 days when on BCP, but now that I’m off, it’s only 3 days max. I
wouldn’t worry about it, especially if your MD isn’t worried, but I get the
weirdness of it when you’re not used to that.
@mokay19
woooooooooohooooooooooo!! That is great news that your referral went through
without the SA. Yay!
@becbec28 omg Kinky
is so good! There is a shave ice/snow cone place right down the street from one
of my friend’s house, and we will walk down, get shave ice, and pour kinky in
it. DELICIOUS.

@houseofsetters I was able to follow the "rules" pretty well until my family had Easter dinner. Since then I've had trouble staying on track. I've been really interested in trying acupuncture! What are your thoughts? I'm trying to find someone local... I found an office that specializes in acupuncture for fertility but they are about an hour or more away and don't want to have to drive it if I don't have to.
@becbec28What brand of PNV are you trying now? I've been thinking about trying a whole food PNV. FX it makes the difference for you!
@babymishWhen I finished reading this book I felt the same way. It almost made me feel like I had a little more control of our situation and made me hopeful that I might get KU naturally despite what I keep hearing from my RE. DH and I decided to try the more holistic approach for a few months and if no BFP then we would go back for our 2nd medicated IUI cycle.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing out of the ordinary (/ not much at all yet because it's not FW!)
R/R/CS: I have been a bad bumper these last two days! This week before spring break has me so busy with work. Next week I'll be the best ever because I'll be off everyday and probably obsessively stalking on here. I have been sick and last night was definitely a mouth breather night and my temp was super low. I'm just glad it's not during FW so it's not throwing off the important temps!
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Oh good question. I would say iced tea. I am an iced tea addict. I like all types, sweetened, unsweetened, flavored with fruit. I do like homemade the best with just a tiny pinch of sugar like 1/8 of a cup to the whole gallon. Yum!
Have to ghost and post today. Have a crazy week with final exams among other things.
Month/Cycle: 4/5
CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: Not much since AF is still here and DH is nights
R/R/CS: I had an apt with my GP today about a non-TTC issue. I was worried I was going to be benched because there was a possibility of surgery. She said I don't have to worry and we can keep trying (yay!) but I still have to have an ultrasound next week. Argh.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Champagne. Hands down. And champagne cocktails! My favorite restaurant has a great elderberry champagne cocktail. Yum yum.

Month/Cycle: 5NTNP 2TTC/ 5 cycles (?)

WAYDTGKU: attempting to understand my cycle. Finished reading TCoYF. Transferring notes from the past few months from a more useless app to FF, bbt thermometer on order from Amazon, cm
R/R/CS: Coming to terms with all the work I need to do and understanding we may be on this journey for a while. Glad to have found this place.
GTKY: what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Citrusy Sauvignon blanc, hot chocolate (darker the better)
@kaityh1 it's Rainbow Light Prenatal One. They're kind of big but you only have to take 1 pill a day (I was taking gummy ones) I got a 90 count on amazon. It's just got SO much more in it I figured why not

@wineo929 Haha, i like plain greek yogurt. I'm weird, i know.
@MelissaM090 I love my additives for water too. I like lemonade mostly, but Mio has some interesting options I'd like to try.
@PepperAT
@sammajane19 I'm glad youre feeling hopeful after your RE visit!
@LeCool haha, nice gif for the fun part of the cycle!
@thj101 i forgot about mimosas! LOVE those!
@Shumerator Sorry for CD1!
@juliebeannn Sorry that DH was too sore from crossfit to BD! I feel his pain, during marathon training sometimes I just could NOT do it, haha.
@canavara cold brew coffee is the best!
@linzrunz I am so sorry for what you are going through with your MIL. Hugs.
@Dilynne I remember all that stress as a young bridesmaid! Sorry your brothers girlfirend is dealing with that kind of pressure. People go crazy with wedding stuff!
@Rottiemom86 glad you are feeling better!
@gonetothesea Hooray for AF leaving!
@Mashunya425 So sorry for your loss. Hugs.
@QueenSunscreen the days where you feel hot are the BEST!
@BecauseLove you are busy! Going to bed earlier really helps especially when you have a lot on your plate. I always feel more productive in the daytime when i do that.
@LadyMillil Hooray for O!
@kaityh1 Hope AF goes on her way soon! I think a few ladies here have done Whole30.
@PaukMeKiande I hope your schedule works out for BD with DH's work schedule. I know the feeling of just not "feelin' it." I've had the Not your Father's Root Beer and I'm dying to try the Ginger Ale!
@PennStateCait I hope you and DH can come to an agreement about this cycle.
@virginiaham I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. Hugs.
@LadyBrettAshley23 Glad you were able to relax some over the weekend!
@kfair001 FX that DH is up for BD tonight!
@Steelerfan3878 FX that the vitex helps with your cycle!

@MrsJ2410 Nice job with the Wondfo wrapper! I am not sure I will ever have that kind of coordination!
@babymish I'm glad the book is interesting!
@Buthayna my back is always bothering me at night.. maybe I'll try HIO to loosen it up, haha!

@mokay19 Great news!!
@sandwichlover My mom, DH and I are addicted to Mio and each have 'our' flavours (Mom - Fruit Punch, DH - Lemonade, but he drinks it with club soda, and me - Cherry Blackberry). My mom also loves vanilla vodka with her fruit punch Mio and water
I really am the girliest drinker ever.

OK, last reply session of the day then headed home. Hope everyone enjoys the remainder of your Tuesday!
@juliebeannn I’m so sorry DH shot you down last night! I totally understand about being tired from a workout, but that still sucks. Good luck, hope he feels better soon!
@thj101 another member of the La Croix club! Love it!
@canavara OK honestly that black cherry bitter cold brew coffee with coconut milk sounds amazing!!! Wow!
@linzrunz I am so sorry about what happened with your MIL, but am glad your DH has been really sweet. Hope that situation is on the up and up!
@Dilynne OK wow, you’re right—the situation with your brother’s girlfriend—who does that? So crazy. And a Kahlua milkshake sounds amazing right now, especially cause our office is as hot as hades . Blech.
@l9i I can’t tell the difference between decaf and caffeinated either! When I found out there was such a thing as decaf espresso I rejoiced. Most people think I’m nuts!
@Rottiemom86 So sorry for your migraine, but glad you are feeling better today!
@gonetothesea Woohoo, AF has left the building! I also enjoy amaretto sours.
@Mashunya425 *TW* I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you, take care of yourself, and enjoy that wine!
@QueenSunscreen I agree, I always feel sexy when gearing up to O. Milk that for all that it’s worth, you sexy vixen, you!
@BecauseLove I wish I could be a morning person! I try so hard and it just doesn’t work. Have fun overseas!
@LadyMillil I also enjoy me some sparkling wine..mmmm.
@kaityh1 Hoping AF leaves soon! I also feel silly when ordering decaf coffee, but I do it anyway, lol.
@PaukMeKiande I love Magners!! Yum yum yum
@PennStateCait I understand that your DH is uneasy but that can be frustrating for you. FX maybe he opens to the idea a bit in the next few days!
@ladystinson I totally understand how sparkling water could taste like tonic water to you! It’s not for everyone. I had to have the week with no carbonation before trying it so that it wouldn’t initially taste awful to me --I used to drink a lot of pop, and that really helped. Iced tea is good too though!
@virginiaham I like dark beers too…yummy!
@LadyBrettAshley23 I hope you feel better soon!
@kfair001 Ahh sorry you think you’re going to be later than normal with O! That is frustrating. Maybe we will be able to move over to the TWW around the same time!
@Steelerfan3878 I hope your cycle length is able to be shortened as well, FX!
@NamelessAria Thanks about the labs! We don’t mind you hanging around here at all. I also love pumpkin spice and peppermint mocha…yum.
@mrsdee15 my period was a full 6 days when on BCP, but now that I’m off, it’s only 3 days max. I wouldn’t worry about it, especially if your MD isn’t worried, but I get the weirdness of it when you’re not used to that.
@MrsJ2410 I looooove chai!
@babymish I agree that this WTO is totally dragging on ,regardless of how busy I’ve been. Hoping the rest of it passes quickly for you!
@Buthayna Glad you got that sore back worked out
@mokay19 woooooooooohooooooooooo!! That is great news that your referral went through without the SA. Yay!
@becbec28 omg Kinky is so good! There is a shave ice/snow cone place right down the street from one of my friend’s house, and we will walk down, get shave ice, and pour kinky in it. DELICIOUS.

@becbec28 What brand of PNV are you trying now? I've been thinking about trying a whole food PNV. FX it makes the difference for you!
@babymish When I finished reading this book I felt the same way.

Yum!

Yum yum.
