Boy name suggestions

We just found out yesterday that we are having a boy and are finally starting to look at names.  We'd like a name that sounds okay with big sister Gwendolyn and obviously, that works with our last name, which is 2 syllables starting with R.  Names we like so far are:

Lucas
Parker
Dexter
Malcolm
Oliver
Logan
Wesley

Any other suggestions to add to our list?  Any feedback on the names already on our list?

    I don't dislike any of your names and probably like Malcolm the most. My first thought is that Gwendolyn is a big name and your boy names don't match up. Gwendolyn is so strong and classic and lovely that I don't think the other names are really in the same league.

    Use Malcolm! Love love love it!

    I find Parker and Logan a bit trendy but I don't side eye them. 

    I really like Wesley although not sure I love something else W heavy with Gwendolyn which BTW is fantastic

    I really like Oliver 

    Lucas is too popular for me. I also am hearing Luca a lot more which I think people are using to be different than Lucas so the whole name just is eh at this point for me

    Dexter I like but I do immediately associate with pop culture between Dexter and Dexters laboratory

    I had this feeling too, but I just am not seeing any 'big' boy names that we like.  If we do go with a bigger name, I also want one that has an easy nickname.  We use Gwen and Gwendolyn almost equally, so I don't think I could go with a longer boys name that doesn't have a nn option.

    Lucas - love
    Parker - not a huge fan. kind of trendy
    Dexter - love it and the NN Dex but I can't ever shake the link to the show.
    Malcolm - okay
    Oliver - love
    Logan - like
    Wesley - like

    Dexter-cute but agree with above, show association, and I have 2 friends that named their dogs this.
    Malcolm-not loving with Gwen
    Oliver-I don't personally like the nickname "Oli" that I hear associated with this so it would steer me away
    Logan-like this with Gwen, short or long it sounds good together

    Our son is Ulysses nn Uly by some, but not me. Some other favorites of mine are Leopold, Wolfgang, Augustus and Heathcliff. If that's any help. :)

    First - love your taste. My DD is also Gwendolyn! We call her Gwen mostly.

    I love Wesley. Next choice would be Malcolm. I like them all besides Parker.

    My son is Parker and I love it, not sure where you live but we are in CT and we never come across the name.

    I agree that these names don't compare to Gwendolyn. I'm going to second Sebastian and Augustus. I also like Alexander but it's very popular.
