R/R/CS: sometimes I can't help but be bummed at the fact that if I had a "normal" cycle I would be 7 or 8 DPO but instead I'm just here in a holding pattern WTO. My cycles aren't showing any kind of pattern for O. I've O'd on CD 31, 23 and 36. Soooo that's a pretty wide window. I have acupuncture on Saturday so I'm really excited about that.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? I love vodka cranberries if I'm going to the bar (which I don't really go to). I love a glass of moscato for relaxing at home. My coffee drink of choice is a caramel macchiato. And I'm a die hard Coca Cola person which I need to stop drinking.

R/R/CS: Work has been insane the last few weeks. It seemingly a lot calmer this week. So hopefully that means I'll be a bit more involved in posting and not ghosting.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? I love a good mojito or long island. For non-alcoholic drinks I really enjoy coffee related drinks (i.e. coffee, lattes, mochas, etc). I don't really drink coffee for the caffeine (although I guess it's a perk) but I love the warmth and the taste. So anything along those lines and I'm in!

WAYDTGKU: Round 3 of Clomid + TI, adding a trigger this time, still temping and will start OPKs tomorrow probably just in case.
R/R/CS: As usual, no one did anything while I was off yesterday so I have a million emails that needed action yesterday to catch up on. Going to try to get back this afternoon to read/comment. On a good note, we had a great time at the first MLB game on Sunday! DH and I are supposed to go again tonight, but it's going to be in the 30s here tonight, so not sure if we are going to or not.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Margaritas are my favorite. I don't drink very often though, so non-alcoholic is diet Pepsi, which I'm addicted to. Trying to cut caffeine this month and it's been hard to give up.

WAYDTGKU: stuff (sorry, mobile bumping)
R/R/CS: Well, my temp didn't go up enough this morning to show O yesterday--wtf? I felt middle pains on my left side yesterday for a solid 7 hours. I know that doesn't mean O is happening at that time, but I was hoping. I hate O'ing later in my cycle because I feel like it just takes forever to get to 2ww. Right now I'm waiting to get my labs drawn that my doc ordered at my physical--vitamin b12, vitamin d, and thyroid. I am hypothyroid so I take hormone replacements, and I haven't had to change my dosage for 2 years. As y'all know, thyroid issues can make TTC tough, so this will give me some answers if I end up needing to change my dosage--same w vit b and vit d.
GTKY: Um, anything with tequila please! I also love long islands. I used to be a Diet Dr Pepper girl but I gave up soda and caffeine back in January for TTC.

R/R/CS: so I didn't get on here yesterday. My dad had surgery so I was in the hospital most of the day. He should be discharged today so then it's just a waiting game to see what they find after running tests. He has prostate cancer. I am still exhausted from yesterday today, but I'm going to back to work today. Also, today is usually (well, for the past few cycles) my O day. If that's true now, we only would have -3 timing. I've just been so stressed about things and busy with my dad and moving and work that I really couldn't shut my mind down to do much else. Oh well I guess all I can do is wait and see. Sorry for the novel!
GTKY: wine! Love dry reds. I also love IPAs. Non alcoholic I like sparkling water and a splash of grapefruit juice.
@l9i hope work calms down today!
@sldp123 I don't usually like tequila but I had the greatest margarita a few weeks ago and it really hit the spot!
@kellybean1988 fx for good results from your doctor! I live diet Dr Pepper. Lived off it in college. Also, I hear you on the frustrating O. I've had next to no signs so far this month so I'm not too sure today is the day for me either.

WAYDTGKU: Stuff and other stuff.
R/R/CS: Finally stopped bleeding! I've decided to keep my ultrasound appt on Thursday, just to get it over with and get things rolling. I also used an OPK yesterday because I felt the need to POAS. I realize I'm not even close to when I think I O'd last cycle (CD 30) but hey, it was worth it for my mental health lol. DH came home last night with some news from work that made/is making me really worried. Basically he wants out of where he is now, and I don't blame him. But the health insurance is amazing and I'm afraid to lose it.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage?
Either lemon water or unsweetened iced tea with lemon. When I was a drinker my go to beer was Corona with Lime (Lame) and for liquor I liked mojito's or cranberry and vodka. But that was when I was a young whipper snapper lol.
@sandwichlover Sorry to hear about your dad! Try to take sometime for yourself, otherwise it will start impacting your health too!

WAYDTGKU: drinking RRL tea at this very moment.
R/R/CS: Thank you all for your support yesterday! I was having a rough day and it really helps to have a forum of understanding women to vent to.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? I'm really not too picky about my adult beverages. My favorite would probably be Moon Man, a pale ale from New Glarus (can only be bought in WI). I also love a good pina colada if I'm feeling fancy. Also moscow mules. Or if I want a mixed drink at a bar I order captain and diet. So really anything, lol. As for nonalcoholic beverages, I typically just drink water.

R/R/CS: So I think I can officially say my OPK jumped the gun on Saturday. My temps are still slowly climbing, but doesn't appear I've O'd yet. Started getting lower pressure last night which I will sometimes get the day before O, so perhaps today is the day.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage?
I'm with @SandwichLover - give me all the dry red wines!
@Megzb510 & @sldp123 - I know how hard it is to give up coke (or pepsi). I am now going 2+ months strong of not having a single one. I used to drink 1-2 cans of coke a day and finally decided a couple of months ago to give it up if it could help only a little with TTC. I've replaced the coke drinking with drinking La Croix from cans and it has helped soooo much in that I still get the carbonation. I know this has been talked about before, so it's possible I already told you all that, but there it is again.
CD: 17
WAYDTGKU: PNVS, Met, Temping, OPKs, BD ED
R/R/CS: This cycle is definitely throwing me. So my temp went up today about half a degree so its possible O was yesterday. But its been so up and down im not counting on it until I see the next 2 days temps. Yesterday I definitely felt what I thought was O pains and then one time in the middle of the day *tmi* I wiped and there was the faintest twinge of pink. It only happened once, and it wasnt like my usual spotting right before AF. I've never had that before and it is waaaaay too early for impending AF. So of course I googled ovulation spotting...
well I made DH BD this morning anyway even though I had told him we were done yesterday. I figure if yesterday was O we might as well get +1 in just in case. But after 6 days in a row of BD at 4am on most of hose days we are beyond exhausted. So I am just hoping we did good enough and two more temps and I can go to TWW.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage?
Adult would be beer. Nothing beats a cold beer on a hot summer day.
Non-Alcoholic I love coffee. I've severely cut back this past cycle to almost none at all. and its been tough.

R/R/CS: I laid in bed after temping and was trying to read tea leaves in previous charts to predict O. I'm losing it.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage?
Favorite adult beverage is probably a good glass of red wine or sangria/Pimm's cup in the summer. Nonalcoholic is definitely (hot) tea. I'm obsessed.
Edited to fix a tag.
CD: 2
WAYDTGKU: I start 100 mg Clomid tomorrow. I go in for a CD3 blood test as well. We are going to talk about adding metformin to my regiment. I have been on it before but had terrible stomach issues so it's something I want to avoid if possible.
R/R/CS: Nothing much, just waiting for AF to exit the building. I was pretty crampy last night and slept like garbage. I am trying to get the motivation to get up and go to work:/
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Margaritas, on the rocks with salt. But the mix has to be homemade, none of that fake sugary nonsense.

R/R/CS: WELL, I went to the doctor yesterday. She basically told me that she has done all the testing that she can do and now she has to refer me out. My husband is active duty and he's at a very small base so she has to refer me to the bigger base nearby that has more stuff. However, she said that they basically always reject referrals unless there has been a SA done already. BUT, my husband is in a phase that he cannot take vacation so I don't even know when he'd be able to get a SA (mind you, they only do them between 7-9am T-Th). The only time that I have a glimmer of hope for him to go is the second week of May... But that's not even for sure. So I'm super bummed about that. I know the military doesn't sway from protocol easily, but our issue isn't exactly that I'm not conceiving, it's that I'm not OVULATING so a SA seems dumb to me right now. But that's also bc I'm frustrated.
Also, she said that the doctors on the other base will usually only prescribe Clomid so now I need to continue my research on that to make sure I know what's up.
Since I have no idea when I'll actually be able to get in to the other doctor, she prescribed me Provera so I can at least get a period and let my body try again while the other stuff gets figured out. The appointment was overall disappointing to say the least.
GTKY: TEQUILA. Shots or margs. I don't care. For nonalcoholic, water.... Or black coffee--but I've limited my coffee to less than a cup a day while TTC. It sucks.

WAYDTGKU: The normal stuff. Femara day 2.
R/R/CS: Last month along with the progesterone blood test, I was supposed to have chromosomal testing done because there was major concern when I was born that I had down syndrome. So I was having the testing done just to ensure there wasn't anything that might interfere with TTC. At my last doctors appt he said he didn't have the tests back and then the lab just called and said I needed to come back in for something so I assume that it's that. Debating on whether I want to go tomorrow or just wait until my CD21 tests again.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Adult beverages, I am SUCH a girl. Fruity cocktails. Palm Bay. Mike's Hard Lemonade (black cherry is amazing). Flavoured vodkas. I can drink wine but only the super sweet cheap ones. I know. Terrible.
Non-alcoholic I have a massive problem with. My favourite thing is water with Mio (cherry blackberry!) and Diet Pepsi. I go great lengths to drink plain water or with lemon/lime but I JUST DON'T LIKE IT. Therefore I don't drink enough during the day and live in a perpetual state of dehydration. Sigh.
I don't drink coffee or tea. Can't get onboard with the taste and as much as I have wanted to like teas and have tried everything recommended to me, I find it tastes like hot garbage water.

R/R/CS: It's Tuesday! Which means that we survived Monday, always a good sign. Not much else going on, I'm in a boring part of the cycle right now. Questions: For anyone that uses OPKs do you have to POS the same time everyday and do you recommend more than once a day? I have never used them and am thinking about adding them in this cycle. I might go to the store today to see how much that will set me back. I don't think I will have enough time to get cheapies online.
GTKY: Alcoholic drinks, I like a good vodka cran or Wine. Non-Alcoholic I drink Water like it is going out of style and Coffee.
@sldp123 Hopefully the weather smartens up so you guys can make it to the game! I don't like this time of year, you never know what you will wake up to in the morning.

WAYDTGKU: Metformin, Femera + Ovidrel shot, OPKs, not much else right now
R/R/CS: I started my first dose of Femera yesterday. I have to gush for a minute. I'm feeling really excited and hopeful after my RE visit - it feels good to have a game plan. For so many weeks it felt like I was just spinning my wheels. Also, really excited that I'm going to have a NORMAL length cycle now (not 60+ days!) what with the Femera and Ovidrel shot regulating my O (assuming I respond to it all, anyway). It finally feels like we've got a SHOT at getting pregnant, since I most likely wasn't O'ing at all in my previous cycles. I go in next week for an ultrasound to gauge how I'm responding.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? A vodka tonic with lemon is my go to. I try to avoid drinking pop, but I do love a good rum and coke too. If I'm really looking to get a good buzz going, I'll opt for a Manhattan.

Hands down - my favorite beverage is coffee. Hot, iced, drip, espresso, I WANT IT ALL. I'm from the Seattle area, so around here the question isn't so much if you drink coffee, but how many shots of espresso you want. I've been drinking half-caff since TTC, and people seriously look at me as though they are concerned there is something wrong.

WAYDTGKU: temping, BD, PNV, eating better
R/R/CS: Ok, so total fail on the temp front this morning. Overslept, slept through my alarm, and also forgot to take my PNV and Calcium this morning.......... urgh... I thought this was Tuesday, not Monday?!
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? Adult Beverage: Mimosas all the way... with Peach Champagne. I'm a brunch addict....... Close 2nd would have to be a strawberry margarita... Non alcoholic: Lime La Croix, that stuff is like crack. 2nd favorite would be coffee. I was used to drinking 2-3 cups a day, and have since cut down to 1.. It's been tough but I'm making it.. Now, Saturday I'm going to a pre wedding brunch, and I WILL have all the coffee and mimosas I can hold. **all in moderation**
@wineo929 yes, greek yogurt is flat out disgusting.. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
@mokay19 so sorry about your disappointing appointment.. I hope you can get some answers really soon.
@karliq88 NYC is my favorite place to visit.. Hope you have a great time!
@sparty18 @megzb510 @sldp123 giving up coke/diet coke is probably the hardest thing ever! It took me 3 years to finally kick them... I told myself that if I can down a bottle of water, then I can have a coke/diet coke, and after a while of doing that, I just got to where I don't crave them as much anymore.. I wish I could get DH to quit drinking diet mt. dew, but I don't know if he ever will.
@mrsdaddario Whipper Snapper LOL
@sandwichlover hoping for good news about your dad!!
@kellybean1988 FX for good results from the dr!
@I9i yay for more bump time!!

@Megzb510 sorry about the long cycles! Hopefully acupuncture can help with that.
@l9i hope your work week stays calm!
@kellybean1988 fx for good test results!
@SandwichLover fx for a quick recovery and good results for your dad! It sounds like you have been under a lot of stress, and still having -3 timing is a major accomplishment when you have so much else going on. If that’s what it ends up being, you’re still in the game!
@mrsdaddario so glad you finally stopped bleeding! Fx that everything works itself out with your DH’s work situation.
@felix08 I wasn’t on yesterday, but I hope you are having a better day today, and I’m glad you got the support you needed. Sometimes I don’t know what I would do without this board.
@Sparty18 glad that it looks like O held off for you so you have a chance now that your DH is home. I may have to give the La Croix a try. I typically do not like flavored water, but maybe it will be different with the carbonation/can and seem more like soda.
@JediAlly85 fx you can confirm O soon! And get some rest
@houseofsetters my favorite morning activity after temping some days is staring at my previous charts until I absolutely have to get out of bed, haha. You aren’t alone.
@HurricaneAmelia hope you feel better as the day goes on. GL with the Clomid and fx for good test results!
@ladystinson GL with kicking soda! I’m trying to do that, too.
@KarliQ88 sorry for CD1. Hope you enjoy your vacation!
@mokay19 sorry you have to deal with all of that just to get a referral. Hopefully they will see that your problem is with ovulating and agree to see you without the SA until your DH is able to get it. I don’t know how any of that works, but would your husband be able to go to a different provider/lab with better hours and pay OOP? I don’t think SAs are that costly even without insurance, so maybe that could be an option if you really need it.
@wineo929 I hate Greek yogurt, too! I have tried so many times to like it, but I just can’t.
@MelissaM090 100% agree with you on tea. I know there are so many different types, but I feel like they all have that underlying “tea” taste that I just hate.
@PepperAT I don’t think you have to use OPKs at the same time every day, but it probably makes it easier. I normally test twice a day and sometimes three times because I’m crazy. I think a lot of people will test once a day, then as the line starts getting darker jump up to twice a day. If you are looking for cheap ones in store, I really liked the Answer brand at Walmart. I think you get 20 for a little less than $20. But, someone else used them per my recommendation and did not like them. So it’s really personal preference I guess, but they are cheap and I got very clear positives with them. Actually, I just noticed you are only on CD5, so you may have time to get Wondfos, depending on how long your cycles usually are. I normally O between CD15-CD20 and I start taking them on CD10.
@sammajane19 glad you are feeling hopeful and excited! It always feels good to have a plan.
@Lecool yay for the fun part of the cycle!
@thj101 my DH drinks diet Mt. Dew also (I think it’s so gross), but he really surprised me when he willingly said he will cut it out. I sent him an article talked about caffeine intake in both men and women and TTC, and he decided not to drink it for now. Although he does still drink one cup of coffee per day.

WAYDTGKU: waiting for AF to leave
R/R/CS: well I'm annoyed with myself. Let my hopes get way too high yesterday and then AF showed right before bed. Going to try to not be a debby downer all day.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage?
adult beverage would be tequila and cranberry, I hate vodka so I switched it for a liquor I do like and it just became my drink. Going for a no alcohol month in April though because I have been indulging too much lately. Non alcoholic drink would be apple juice, yummmm.
Edited: because I DO know the difference between to/too

OK, if O day isn’t today, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle (yes, I know, that's what I said yesterday). *TMI* just went to the restroom and holy EWCM, batman! Ooof. Today is an “off” day in our EOD BD agreement, but I may have to coerce DH into early morning BD tomorrow before work. That would still count as EOD!! Lol
@Megzb510 I feel you on wishing for a “normal” cycle. I am excited for you for your acupuncture on Saturday, and holla on that Moscato!
@l9i I drink only decaf stuff so I drink coffee for the warmth and taste as well. Yum!
@sldp123 I’m so glad you had a great time at the MLB game; I really love going to games like that. I totally understand how hard it is to give up caffeine. I had to do a gradual step-down thing, and it helped.
@SandwichLover I am so sorry for what your dad is going through and what you also are feeling. Big hugs your way—take care of yourself! I hope O comes for both of us soon!
@mrsdaddario I am so glad the bleeding finally stopped, woohoo! I hope things get better for your DH, I understand about being scared of losing health insurance. FX that gets better!
@l9i long islands are the bomb.com!
@felix08 Thanks! Hoping your O comes earlier for you this cycle around…and you can vent to us any time you darn well please.
@Sparty18 Hoping today is your day! Maybe we will both move over to TWW at the same time.
@JediAlly85 I am so sorry this cycle is throwing you. Sounds like maybe we really are cycle twins this month—hopefully we can both move over to TWW soon!
@houseofsetters I love hot tea as well! It’s hard to beat a good cup of English breakfast with milk and sugar.
@HurricaneAmelia Hoping AF leaves soon! I also have to drink margaritas on the rocks..I don’t like the frozen ones and all my friends think I’m crazy for it.
@ladystinson Yeah, I have to take vitamin D 4x a week. I was taking 5000 IU every day at this time last year, but at that time my doctor ordered my labs and said that my levels were TOO high, so to either cut dose in half or just take a 5000 IU EOD. …uh duh, I went with the 5000 IU EOD, for $$ purposes. However, when I started taking PNV, I noticed that those had vitamin D as well, so then I had to figure out how much total Vitamin D I was getting between PNV and 5000 IU EOD. So since November, I’ve been taking 5000 IU on MWFSat, and PNV every day. Lol so I’m really curious to see what the results say. Also—if you’re trying to give up soda—try not drinking ANYTHING carbonated for a week, and then start drinking La Croix sparkling flavored water. It’s perfect! It probably just wouldn't taste sweet enough if you went straight from drinking pop to drinking it.
@KarliQ88 so sorry about CD1. Have fun on vacation!!
@mokay19 I’m really sorry about your doctor’s appointment, I can definitely understand why you are disappointed. Hopefully the Provera helps while you can get everything else figured out. Thinking of you! (And hells yes to tequila!)
@wineo929 Ooooh plain greek yogurt is AWFUL. I am so sorry you had to go through that!
@MelissaM090 omg your description of tea as hot garbage water made me laugh so hard! Good luck planning your tests—I know that can be tough.
@PepperAT I drink water like it’s going out of style as well! In fact, I need to go re-fill my water bottle now!
@Sparty18 yyyyeah if you’re not a coconut fan, def don’t try that one! I am going to try orange next time since you like it so much. Yum!
@sammajane19 I am so happy that you’re feeling so great after your RE visit! Woohoo!!
@Lecool Thanks! Oh yeah, I bet people in Seattle look at you like you’re crazy when you order half-caf, lol! That gif is making me want to walk across campus for some Sbux RIGHT NOW.
@thj101 Sometimes I think Tuesdays are even worse than Mondays. Boo! I love lime La Croix! So good! It is really good with Amaretto and grenadine btw…
@Schumerator Sorry for CD1 and that you’re feeling down. Thinking of you!

@l9i i hope work calms down for you!
@sldp123 i love time off from work, but i hate being buried in emails the few days after....i feel you! i hope it's as painless as possible!
@kellybean1988 i hope O is confirmed soon and that you get good lab results!
@SandwichLover sorry to hear about your dad!! i hope he recovers soon!! hope you take some time for yourself to unwind and recharge.
@mrsdaddario ugh. i hope your DH's work situation gets better!!
@Sparty18 booo to opk fake-outs. hopefully you O soon!
@JediAlly85 BD 6 days in a row at 4am!??! you're my hero. i'm exhausted just reading that.
@KarliQ88 sorry to hear about AF's arrival. have a great vacay!
@mokay19 so sorry to hear that you've hit a wall with your current doctor. i really hope your DH can do his SA soon so that you can get around all this red tape. hugggss.
Month/Cycle: 3

WAYDTGKU: pnv. temping. cm. opk. hopefully HIO wed, thurs and fri.
R/R/CS: RANT: DH totally shot me down last night. He knew it was BD week and yesterday was go time, but the poor guy was so sore from his workout earlier in the day. Poor guy could hardly walk let alone HIO. I let him off the hook last night but told him no excuses on Wed (he works a 24 hour shift today). FF has my O day predicted for Saturday (another 24 hour shift), so I'm hoping for W/Th/F but we've never done 3 days in a row other than on vacation, so we'll see. I'd be happy with W/F.
(For you Crossfitters, holy crap, the wod involved 3 rounds of 1min max calorie on the airdyne!! Our coach is some sort of sadomasochist, since he did the wod too. I knew this wod would cripple me, so I skipped it. I'm guilty of cherry picking!)
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favorite adult or nonalcoholic beverage? DH and I dont drink. I have a glass of white wine from time to time and prefer the sweetness of reisling or pinot grigio. Non-alcoholic, my go-to is coffee with some half and half. Once in a blue moon I'll add sugar as a treat haha.

@Schumerator Sorry for CD1, all the hugs to you.
@Megzb510 Really hope acupuncture can start shortening your cycles for you! I was going to try it this cycle, but I have an appointment with my OB next week, so I'm going to see how that goes first and then perhaps start going next cycle.
@SandwichLover Sorry to hear about all your dad is going through, you're in my thoughts!
@mrsdaddario So happy to see the bleeding finally stopped!
@JediAlly85 I've had spotting around ovulation a few times, so I wouldn't be too worried! Just think of it as another sign that things are happening.
@KarliQ88 Sorry to hear about CD1, but I'm glad you are temping now and can see how that goes for you!
@sammajane19 Glad to hear you are feeling better after your RE visit!
ETA: Honest Soda makes a really good all natural soda, the flavor I have tried and like the best is Lemon-Limey and you can get it at Whole Foods. I don't get this often because the nearest Whole Foods is an hour away from me, but if you have one near by I recommend that one as well!
