Thank you ladies for all your thought and prayers! After 6+ hours in the ER (most of that time I was just waiting for a damn room!) they told me that everything looked great. I had a subchorionic hemorrhage last time I had an ultrasound and it's gone now. They think that's what caused the bleed. But Bean is great....measuring right where he/she is supposed to be and has a heart rate of 166. I didn't have a great ultrasound tech this time, but I did get to see those little legs wiggling around.
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Getting MaterniT21 results back late this week/early next week, NT scan and next appointment on 4/20
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This stupid cold is driving me nuts.
4. GTKY: It's Opening Day!!! Which baseball team are you rooting for? Baseball=meh; if you forced me to choose, I'd root for the Os. But it's almost hockey playoff time! Let's go Rangers! #raceforthecup
3. Little nervous about the subchorionic hemorrhage my OB oh so delicately said "is larger than we are typically comfortable with". Another US on the 22nd, so I'm sure it's all good. Surely they would let me know otherwise. Still calling back today for more info, I need peace of mind!
Thanks again ladies!! I don't know what I would do without all your support!
@AllyTheKid Oh, I'm sorry your OB made you nervous! When mine first told me about my hemorrhage, I had a total meltdown. I wish they would think about how things are going to sound before they say them. Hemorrhages usually resolve themselves though, so I hope you don't stress too much. *Hugs*
So just realized I don't think I actually participated in the board yet this week... #preggobrain
1. How far along are you? 14w today (measuring 14w2d and so convinced that that's the real timing)
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Our next ultrasound at 18w feels SO far away, but at the same time, time is flying by! I'm also loving the conversion of my blump into a little bump, and even though I don't think there's a single "milestone" moment there I can't wait to feel like it's full-on bump territory. Oh, and feeling my little merman flutter--can you tell I'm just super excited and full of endorphins right now?
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Yesterday, one of my colleagues gave me a very sweet book for the baby (God Gave Us You) yesterday, and last night DH read it to me and my belly. I know it's too early for him to really hear our voices, but the story was so touching and the moment was so magical, I was weeping. In other book recs, another friend gave me Deepak Chopra's Magical Beginnings, Enchanted Lives, about pregnancy, delivery and the early days of parenting, and I really love it--so grounding and life-affirming!
4. GTKY: It's Opening Day!!! Which baseball team are you rooting for? Red Sox, all the way--up or down, they have my heart!!
@krzyriver No kidding, wording would make all the difference in the world! I called back, but he was out so the nurse is going to go over my info and call me back. I'm trying not to stress, I mean surely they wouldn't just drop a bomb like that and brush it off it were an emergency, right? Everything I've read so far offers some comfort though, so there's that I'm glad to have an idea of why I've been spotting off and on! That's a relief too!
@PeggyOlsonFTW I LOVE your take home outfit! So cute! Gonna go check out the Gap
1. How far along are you? 14+1 2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My next ultrasound appt with the high risk doctor. That reassurance is gold. 3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I went and lurked on previous month's boards birth announcements and it just gave me so many happy tears and so much hope. I need to do things like that more instead of googling bad things. 4. GTKY: It's Opening Day!!! Which baseball team are you rooting for? We are reeeeally not into sports. The rest of my family is ALL about every sport and thank god DH isn't because I can't take anymore. They're already arguing about what football team the baby will root for... it's a bit much lol.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Hmmm....our next ultrasound with the OB is on Thursday next week. I will be 14+2. Then I have another one at 16w with high risk doctor.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I got my sequential screening results back this morning, and low risk for Trisomy 18 and 21, which makes me feel good.
4. GTKY: It's Opening Day!!! We are football fans.
