@furbabymom2007 That is a frustrating chart! It does seem like everything lines up around CD16 other than a clear temp shift. It will be interesting to see what happens with your temps the next couple of days. If you put in 2 more high temps what does FF do? I'm guessing you will have dotted CH. I'm assuming you stopped using the OPKs after CD19? It could have been a surge with no O, but I would expect you to have more fertile CM now again with your temp jump today if O ends up being yesterday. Not sure if any of this is helping, but you have every right to be frustrated. Hopefully you really did O around CD16 and now you are already far into the TWW!
WAYDTGKU: Lots of things that do not work. Does anyone else feel like the more things you are actively doing each cycle, the more disappointing AF is?
R/R/CS: I have a lot I could rant about, but I'll refrain. I'm trying to leave my pity party.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: Aah I don't even know. I'd like to live a rich and famous lifestyle momentarily just to experience it, but I can't think of a specific character at the moment.
@felix08We are right in the same place! And I totally know that feeling. I was totally convinced I was KU this month until AF showed her ugly face. I had such bad cramps yesterday I stayed in bed and watched movies and ate junk food all day. Take care today!
CD Edit: Thanks for the note...I guess when the 3 is close to the : it turns into a smiley face. So yeah CD 3
WAYDTGKU: Meteformin 2000, Acupuncture, Baby Asprin, Letrozole/Fermera 5m CD 3-7, hopefully Trigger and IUI #2
R/R/CS: Went to chiropractor this morning to work on my jacked up body. I have daunting piles of work (from a variety of different jobs). Just hoping to check a ton off my list today.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?:Ack brain melt. My first response was that I always wanted to live in the Laura Ingles Wilder books.

Just got on my professional work facebook account and first
thing on my newsfeed was a preg announcement from a colleague at another
university in our state. Excited for him and his wife but damn seeing those
first thing in the AM on a Monday got me like
@kellybean1988 I feel you on this today! I checked fb this morning and first thing on my feed is one of my friends back home complaining about her pregnancy being uncomfortable. That made me a little crazy (it's CD 2), plus she got KU while on BCP/not trying. UGH!!
@becbec28 Thanks!! I'm using CD2 as an excuse to be a slacker at work today and then I will probably go home, be completely lazy, and eat whatever I want. Sorry you are also a CD2-er. It's hard to be optimistic at this point.
@becauselove your CD showed up as a smiley face, which I kind of love!!! Also, good luck with your to-do list...mine is also super long but I am having a real hard time finding the motivation.
@houseofsetters is the music for the show (Outlander) as good as it is in the ads??
@hurricaneamelia and @felix08I'm sorry about CD1 showing up. It's totally okay to be frustrated with this process, even amid falling in the "normal, healthy for it to take up to a year." You're in good company here.
ETA @furbabymom2007 hang in there another day or two! It looks like CH's are coming...FX!!

R/R/CS: ***TW*** H and I talked last night about how we're both dealing with the loss and how we're both afraid of TTC again being more stressful than it's been. I realized yesterday that he'll be traveling during my (potentially) FW this cycle and for the entire week afterward, in addition to being away 3 months this summer. It felt like a gut-punch though honestly heaven only knows what my body is going to do this cycle. He isn't worried at all about us not getting pregnant again or having a take-home baby. I totally am, and I'm realizing I need to find somewhere to put that worry.

if I put in 98 (a normal ish post o temp for ) for the next two days, it actually gives me solid ch on CD 19. I did stop using the cheapie OPK after a few days when I saw them getting lighter again. With the digi it basically locks up with the solid smiley for two days. On the plus side, tomorrow is our anniversary... So there is BD to be had. Unfortunately I left town This weekend so we could do anything.
@furbabymom2007 Interesting, yeah with CD19 I could see that with a fallback rise perhaps. If it is, your timing is great! Happy early anniversary and yeah just keep on HIO!
You guys, I am almost positive today is O day, or at least O
is close. I’m having some fairly uncomfortable middle pain on the left side,
where I usually get it. Despite my effed up chart last month, my doctor thinks
that I O’d on CD16 then, so it could be the same this time, woo! I’m gonna have to text hubby and tell him
tonight’s the night!
@Steelerfan3878
Welcome! We’re happy to have you here. I love redheads too!
@LadyMillil Oooh
Cristina Yang would be a good choice!
@Sparty18 No eye
rolls here! Glad your DH is back!
@PepperAT Oh nooo, I
hope your hubby feels better soon! Man-colds are the absolute worst.
@furbabymom2007
Sometimes I think our temps just do whatever they want. Boo. But the
EWCM and positive OPKs don’t lie, so I’d keep HIO!
@felix08 yes, I agree
it’s great to have a place to have a pity party. The “real world” people who
know I’m TTC aren’t always the best support, but you ladies certainly are!
@ladystinson OMG my
parents have chickens too! That’s hilarious! The ancient Celts used to carry
around hazelnuts in their pockets or hang them in their houses to promote
fertility—I would be lying if I said I haven’t considered buying some hazelnuts
for this purpose…lol (or maybe I should just eat some nutella? I should just eat some nutella.). In addition, I bought some beaded earrings with turtles
on them when I worked out on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota this past summer…in
some indigenous cultures, the turtle symbolizes and brings fertility. I am wearing these earrings every day this
week during my FW, lol!
@MelissaM090 ooh,
have fun with your new fitness classes! I hope they are as fun as fitness
classes can be!
@mrsjqg1024 Wow for
getting it on with the inlaws in town! Awesome! Sounds like your timing will be
good if you O’d yesterday.
@mrsdee15 I think it’d
be fun to be Luna too—she is such a great character.
@becbec28 So sorry
about CD2. Hoping AF moves out soon! And
booo to your friend complaining about her preg being uncomfortable. So sorry, I
totally get it!
@Rottiemom86 It is
absolutely ok to jump back in, we are happy to have you here! Take care of
yourself, thinking of you!
@BecauseLove I hope
you get to check a lot off your list today as well. I love Laura Ingles Wilder
and those books!
@virginiaham I am so
sorry you’re having a rough time. We are here for you, sending big hugs your
way.
@thj101 right? I
have no idea what I expected going into the process of TTC, but it was nothing
like what I’ve experienced! I think I just didn’t expect it to be as emotional
as it is. Which is dumb, like duh, of course it’s going to be emotional.
Whatever ! I have been able to remain pretty positive overall throughout so I’m
hoping that doesn’t change, but you’re right—it can be frustrating!
TTC January 2016 BFP May 17, 2016 DS born January 31st, 2017: Rory "Mac" MacKinnon
So 9 months out of the year I only work 4 days a week (no Monday's), well this is my last Monday before our busy season so I'm reaching out to everyone! I probably won't have as much time between now and July to respond to everyone so I apologize a head of time, but will try my hardest!
@JediAlly85 Fx O comes soon! I think 1 more day of HIO is a good idea! Then you'll have perfect timing! @houseofsetters That gif is hysterical! Also, that fried rice, any chance you can PM me the recipe? Since the PCOS dx I went to a nutritionist and he put me on a low carb diet. That recipe sounds perfect for it! @NamelessAria Did your CM match up with the OPK's on CD 12? @kellybean1988 Yes, I also want to live in a hobbit hole! FX O is soon! @thj101 I used to love the idea of doing interior design. I even kept a binder with all of these ideas. Then I realized I don't really have an eye for it. I dragged DH to Home Goods over the weekend, we're on the hunt for a headboard, but I am SO picky. Also, yay for getting your BBT! @BerkeBaby I'd also be either of the Gilmore Girls! Probably Rory because when the show was on I had such an uber crush on Jess. Glad you're looking forward to your trip despite missing your FW. @felix08 I agree, I drank RL tea for a week. I hate hot tea, so I forced myself to hug it LOL. I felt no difference. Not that I expected a change in a week, but still. @Lecool Yeah, it couldn't hurt to mention your short LP to your dr. Also, I know a lot of the ladies here have mentioned acupuncture has lengthened their LP. Which I'm sure you've seen! @kfair001 I can't tell you how many times I've flipped to the picture page of TCOYF after checking my CM. I totally understand your frustration. @HurricaneAmelia Sorry for a rough CD 1. Having something else lined up to focus on is such a good idea! @sammajane19 FX for a productive RE appointment! Please let us know how it goes!! @gonetothesea We have blackout curtain's too! Luckily we wake up when it's dark out anyway on work days, so I'm miserable regardless of the light status in the room lol. @Dilynne Yay for the goodies coming in the mail! It's like Christmas right?! @ladystinson I'm so sorry you had a rough weekend. It's hard not to get discouraged. Also, for future reference, every time I went on antibiotics I got a yeast infection no fail. Finally someone taught me a trick. Since I've done this, I've been on antibiotics three times (including currently) and I haven't gotten an infection. I just eat one yogurt a day, for every day I'm on the antibiotic. Seriously, it really works! The cultures combat whatever it is in antibiotics that causes the yeast build up. @Steelerfan3878 Welcome! Temping and charting made me feel in control when I started, hope it makes you feel that way as well! @LadyMillil I know I said this yesterday BUT good luck today with the IUI!! Keeping my Fx for you! @Sparty18 No eye rolling over here, we ALL know how it goes lol. Rant/bitch/whine away! @juliebeann Yay for the first day of HIO EOD. One day closer to the TWW lol. @PepperAT I'd try and OPK just for the hell of it. It's easier, in my opinion, than temping and you can do it anytime of the day. Plus if you don't like it you can just stop! @furbabymom2007 I think you O'ed somewhere between CD16-CD18. It just makes so much sense with all of the signs, irregardless of temp. Today's temp is definitely unusually high! @MelissaM090 Fx Femara treats you well! @mrsjqg1024 Yes, Fx you O'd! Sounds like you did. @mrsdee15 Fx AF makes a quick exit! @becbec28 Sorry for CD 2 @Rottiemom86 Glad the difficult month has passed, and you're ready to join us again @BecauseLove Hope the chiro helped you!
Month/Cycle: 7/4
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: Currently waiting out hsg awfulness so we can continue PNV, HIO, CM, BBT (have continued doing throughout) and OPK's. Did RRL tea for a week, need to start again.
R/R/CS: Still bleeding. I thought it was done last night, woke up this morning to it. However I do think it's slowly but surely stopping. It's not nearly as heavy as it was before, so fx it ends soon. I do think I will have to reschedule the ultrasound on Thursday though. Even if I stop bleeding I'm afraid a transvaginal US will cause it to start again. I'll call my doctor's office tomorrow though and find out for sure. In other news I woke up to like a foot of snow this morning and it's still coming down. I'm just happy I don't have anywhere to be!
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: Hmmm this is tough. I love a lot of the previous answers already, Lorelai or Roy Gilmore, a witch in Harry Potter. I also love historical times, so I would probably lean towards someone in an earlier era. Just not sure who. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do want to see the Downton Abbey series (I do know what's it's based off of) and I wonder if that would be a fun fit.
@mrsdaddario Yeah I was having a lot of EWCM from CD9 till CD14. Today it's thick and creamy. The past couple of cycles I've gotten around 12 days of EWCM so for it to already be thick and creamy after having so much EWCM the past couple of days I'm thinking the early OPK was right. Which is strange because I've been Oing around CD20.
Me: 28 Husband: 31 TTC#1: January 2015- September 2016 Infertility, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Rainbow baby born June 6, 2017 ❤️
I have a question for some of you...it might be TMI...but I think it might be something I need to bring up with my RE.
@mrsdaddario and/or @NamelessAria -
When you say you've been having "lots" of EWCM, how much is that
exactly? I think I need to mention to the RE that I don't get very much.
I may notice a small amount (maybe a dime-sized spot when I wipe), but
that's it the rest of the day. There are also patches of time when I
don't have any and I've only had what I would consider "lots" one time.
Sorry
if it's TMI, or you don't want to answer...I'm just beginning to notice
that I might not be ovulating at all...just getting the temp shifts and
AF, without the most important part...
@kellybean1988 lol omg thats too funny, as soon as I read the hazelnut I was thinking hmm, I do love nutella and then BAM! there you are with it lol I'm actually waiting for my hazelnut bushes to come in, don't think I wont be doing this lol
@mrsdaddario I've heard that before too. I used to get UTI's way more than any one person should. But that was the crazy thing, I literally had never had a single yeast infection, even with antibiotics, until last fall. This last thing felt like it was headed there but it went away. I had to use some of DH's shower gel the day before and I think it irritated me, I don't usually use anything scented short of the natural scent of like cocoa butter and oatmeal but DH love bath and body works juniper breeze (I love how much of a girl he is sometimes lol) so I think the perfume in it irritated my nethers lol
**TW-loss and other children mentioned** @virginiaham I am so so sorry to hear about your loss, I don't know how I missed it earlier. I personally have had 2 MC's and I completely understand how you're feeling and needing to put that worry somewhere. It's hard not to worry about it. My first time, I was worried to get PG again because of all the what if's. I ended up getting pregnant 4 months later with my DS. He was perfect and I was blessed to have an easy 9 months. Then when he was 3 months, we had a little 'oops' moment. and I got PG again. It was unplanned but not unwanted, but I MC at about 8 weeks. exH wanted to try again right away, I was terrified. I also had post-partum depression from it (something that is totally possible from a MC but NO ONE talks about it) Now, there were a lot of other factors in our marriage that also made it much much worse which is why we're divorced now, but I've told DH that I want this so badly, but am still so scared to go through that again. We're not telling our parents until at least 9 weeks because that's when I was starting to get safe with DS (low progesterone) and work/our kids not until I'm showing and we have to because of it. Sorry, I'm rambling, my point is, let yourself deal and heal. Take the missed FW's as time to take care of yourself. And if you ever need to talk, I'm here.

R/R/CS: It is very cold and rainy, and very busy at work. I was not feeling great over the weekend and had some very light spotting which has never really happened mid-cycle, so yay for my body continually surprising me!
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: @BecauseLove my first impulse was Laura Ingalls Wilder as well, but they had some HARD times. I also was thinking a witch in Harry Potter or Jo March.
R/R/CS: I've had a loss back in Jan (won't go into details) and am starting to chart to see what my body is doing so we can try again. I know I have longer cycles but I have no idea what my chart is doing. It's all over the place. I'm doing everything by the book of temping at the same time every morning before getting out of bed and marking it as questionable if I don't sleep well that night or feel sick. But my temp jumped from 97.2 to 98.2 then back down to 97.4 the next day. My CP has been high and soft for the past 4 days and I've had a little EWCM (not much) which is now drying up. And usually I should have ovulated by now where the temps have been between 97.2 and 97.5. Are my hormones out of wack (low progesterone) or could my thermometer not be reliable? I currently have the CVS brand and am looking to get the Mabis. Any suggestions?
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: I don't know, but I do know that I have nightmares that I am living the lives of the people in Walking Dead...so anything but that.
My Sweet Baby Gabriella was born still on January 5th, 2016. Forever in my heart.
MrsJ2410 yeah that is what I was thinking about Laura Ingles Wilder as well. Was trying to think of a book that had wealthy fun traveling and adventurer heroines and couldn't think of anything quickly enough. Jo March might be interesting too. For a second I considered Anne of Green Gables. mrsdaddario Thanks! It really did. I have another appointment though for Friday cause it isn't all fixed yet...still a little sore. kellybean1988 Already checked a few things off so its a good start. felix08 Thanks for the heads up about the smiley face. Who knew when the : and the 3 get too close together they make a smiley face...I wonder if that is how babies are made HAHA. I agree hard to get and stay motivated with to do lists. I am just juggling a lot these days and if I don't tackle some of it I know many blocks are going to come crashing down on me..so that helps motivate a little.
Just got word that my Dr is willing for me to do a ultrasound on CD 11 (instead of around the CD 14) to see if my Follies would be big enough for me to trigger and get and IUI on CD 13th...this is all a big stretch because I am heading out of town for 2 weeks...and don't want to waste the cycle/month if possible to avoid.

*chart stalk requested, stupidly long post* ETA: Chart stalks are still welcome, but I had forgotten to check what would happen if I set my FF to FAM instead of Advanced. When it did, my crosshairs went away. Think I'll leave it that way for now.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 17
WAYDTGKU: Charting, PNV, EPO, Mucinex, HIO when OH and I are in the same zip code and he is into it
R/R/CS: So it was a busy weekend and I didn't have time to join in any discussions. When I posted last on Friday, OH and I had successfully had all the filthy hotel sex. I wanted that to be just the beginning, since if I O'd on CD16 like I have been, that timing would be -4 and -3. I was OK with skipping Friday since he had a long drive home, but was determined to get Saturday, -1 in. *Potential TMI warning* And we did have some sexy time, but to finish him off, we ended up having to go with a BJ. Ugh. Fortunately, after lots of sexy talk and my wandering around in the buff, we did HIO again last night, which I'm guessing was O day. I know, I sound like a huge whiner, given that we HIO on 3 days of FW. It's just frustrating that we never seem to hit that -1...
And because it's Monday, and I'm also confused, I have another rant. My temps are effing with me. I had a couple of super low temps while I was visiting with OH that have resulted in crosshairs earlier than I think I should have them. Part of me would be thrilled if I did O on CD14 since our timing would likely be better (I would have that elusive -1 that seems to be on every PG chart I look at on FF).
And it looks right until I look at my other charts (BTW, I rely mostly on temping because I have a hard time finding any CM). But my CD 15, 16, and 17 temps are consistent with other cycles, and I've never had anything as low as CD13 and 14.
So my inclination is to discard at least CD14 and wait for the temp rise to confirm what I think will be a CD16 O. Thoughts? GTKY: @Sparty18 I also was thinking of Rachel from Friends (except the whole having to sleep with Ross thing...maybe during the era when she was with Joshua?).
Even though you couldn't pay me to go back to high school, I might be interested if I were either of the twins from the Sweet Valley High books I read in junior high, Elizabeth or Jessica Wakefield (although I always thought of myself more as a Liz, and her boyfriend Todd sounded hunky, LOL). It would be interesting to experience it all as a pretty blonde popular girl with a twin I could get to go to my math classes for me.

WAYDTGKU: Started temping again this weekend. Potential FW falls on an awkward weekend. DH will be gone for the first two days and then my mom will be visiting for the rest of it. Hoping that O will hold off a day or two to give us a chance at better timing!
R/R/CS: I already spoke about it in MBF, but my MIL straight up slapped me across the face yesterday. I am still livid and my face still stings this morning. I feel bad for DH because he's put in such a crappy situation, but he totally defended me and yelled at his mom for what she did. Ugh. I can't get over it.
**TW: Other people's BFPs and pregnancies on tv**
As far as TTC related, I'm trying not to think about it too much. I waited to catch up on Grey's until after AF craziness went away because that show ALWAYS makes me cry. Thought I was safe. First episode I watch - pregnant lady going into preterm labor with her four babies. Immediate tears. I turned it off. Saw a couple pregnancy announcements this weekend on Facebook. I'm super happy for them, but it kinda bummed me out this weekend.

@BerkeBaby So this is a tricky thing for me because I've only been checking CM one month out of seven of TTC. I started checking after I got TCOYF which was I believe right around time of O (if I did O which now with the PCOS dx I have no idea). I turned an OPK on CD 30, but that cycle (the one that just ended) ended in a Provera induced AF. And I started checking the day after I got a positive OPK and it was creamy, not EW. BUT just from life in general, I know that certain times of the month I had more (at the time I thought it was just discharge, but know better now) CM than others. For me it was always a lot, enough to dampen my underwear (sorry TMI) and then I'd be dry as the desert. I think you should mention it to your RE definitely.
Hi all! I'm somewhat new here.. following mostly the IF board but have been lurking here for a while too!
Month/Cycle: 19/18
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: BBT charting, BD at least every other day
R/R/CS: So, I tried opening up to my friends last night and talk to them about my IF struggles, etc. and as soon as I was finished, one of them changed the subject and that was it. It really kind of hurt my feelings (I feel whiny typing this out)! It took a lot for me to even bring it up and I just feel so frustrated not having anyone to vent to!
GTKY:
If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character
for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: This is a tough one! I'm going to say Olivia Pope from Scandal because she is pretty much a bad ass!
@kaityh1 Welcome!! I'm sorry that happened to you! I've had similar experiences too. Sometimes I wonder if it's because people just don't know what to say, and are afraid of saying the wrong thing, so it's easier for them to say nothing at all. But you've come to the right place because we know the feeling!
@linzrunz Oh holy hell, I cannot even imagine that. Discipline should always be deferred to the parent when they are present, never mind the fact that she was more consumed by anger than a desire to correct the situation. The disrespect for you as his mother, as well as the abhorrent violence that she used make her sound like an awful person. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that level of crazy bullshit.

@NamelessAria My DH went
through a phase right after Christmas where he was obsessed with his new
PS2. Luckily he has the attention span
of a 6 year old and got over it really quick lol. Hopefully yours does the same!
@kellybean1988 FX for O
very soon! I wish O was just
consistently on the same day every month.
Why do they have to make it so confusing!
@thj101 YAY for getting
your thermometer. GL temping!
@BerkeBaby sorry about
your thermometer! That’s the worst. FX that you do still O this cycle. Have fun in Baltimore!
@felix08 I feel the same
way. Every time I add something, I feel
like I have a better shot but nope!
@Lecool Wasn’t able to
book a massage this weekend because I ended up hurting my back. Don’t even know what I did but there
definitely something tweaked. I’ll just
live vicariously through your massage for the time being. At least until the back loosens up. lol
@HurricaneAmelia Sorry
about CD 1 and sorry about the disappointing cycle. I felt the same way last month. But similar to you, this month I’m back in
the gym and focusing on my health as well. It has been a nice distraction. GL to you this cycle!
@sammajane19 Good luck at
your RE appointment. I hope it goes well
for you.
@gonetothesea Those black
out curtains are a blessing and a curse!
@Dilynne Yay for Mabis and
OPKs. Good luck! P.S.
Love Criminal Minds!
@ladystinson Sorry that
you had a really tough time with not being KTFU with month. Sucks that some months are harder than
others. FX for a BFP for you soon!
R/R/CS: Temp is down - hopefully this is a sign that O is coming soon-ish. Need the ol'cm to turn it up a notch. Also I just did the most random dance class at the gym ever.
It was called Whack & Vogue and it is taken from the gay scene in the 70's when gay men used to go to clubs where they could act their most feminine. I can't exactly see me taking this routine to the club but you never know after enough tequila! I just did the routine for SO....he looked a little alarmed.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?:
Oh wow what a question! I think I would be Mary Poppins because I'd love to jump into an oil painting and go on a magical carousel and dance with penguins. And having a flying umbrella would be pretty handy too...
@furbabymom2007 I'm thinking CD19 could possibly be O with a fall back rise on 20 and 21 - have you tried putting in a few more high temps and seeing what FF says?
Edited to add: I saw your updated post further down the thread...I have to be honest when I guess an FF chart correctly I want to do a little fist pump...
@JediAlly85, I hear you on the exhaustion. We're renovating our house (DIY) and started a new workout program. Last night we looked at each other and just laughed because of how tired we were. Hopefully you have answers soon and you can move to TWW!
@houseofsetters, Cauliflower rice is so so good. I'm jealous!
@NamelessAria, so frustrating! BD doesn't need to take that long He could have been back on his game in no time!
@Berkebaby, travel during FW is the worst! We lucked out this cycle because I'm leaving on Friday, and I'm predicted to O on Thursday. Hoping that's right! Although, this would be the month that I don't O on CD 15... Out of 6 cycles.
@Lecool, I have an 11 day LP which always makes me worry, too. Good luck at your appointment!! Average doesn't feel as good when it's the "low average"
@kfair001, I had the same type of CM so I started EPO 2 cycles ago. This is the first time I'm like... YES THIS IS EWCM!! I've also really upped my water intake, so maybe that helps too?
@Sammajane19, good luck!! Why did your OB want you to stop? Just curious, I'm on cycle 6 and haven't talked to mine about TTC other than at my annual before we actually started.
We have those curtains, too @gonetothesea. It is so so hard to get up!
@ladystinson, I'm sorry this cycle is hitting you hard. The last month or so has been really bad for me, too. Not that it helps you at all, but at least you can know you have a solid support of ladies who understand
Hopefully back for more later, but it's time to run to Target!
Month/cycle: 6
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: EPO, temping
R/R/CS: I can normally at least make a test line appear on an OPK by now, but I've had nothing the last 2 days. I've finally had some substantial EWCM so that's good. Hoping I didn't miss O! Maybe my increased water intake is making me so diluted, the test isn't as receptive? Who knows!
GTKY: I honestly have no idea. Sometimes I think I would the 50s (so maybe Betty on Mad Men?) but then I think of all the social injustice and I think NO WAY.
@kfair001 Oh my gosh I love your sig so much. It just makes me want to stretch my legs out haha. kellybean1988 Have you used pre-seed before this month? Is it any good? Considering getting some but the reviews on Amazon seemed like a mixed bag. Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: BBT and all that jazz.
R/R/CS: I my obgyn so much. I had to schedule a follow-up appointment with her for some pain near my left ovary that I've been having off and on for months. U/S last month was totally clean... obgyn pulls out a q-tip and is like, "Do you mind if I probe around some?" I thought she meant like... inside of me, but she tells me to lay back and she just starts poking me randomly in certain spots and is like, "You flinched when I poked there but not here! Let me try that again... yeah! You flinched again in that one spot!" She starts pressing and is like, "You have a muscular trigger point right next to your ovary!" And suddenly a months-long mystery has been solved. Any doctor's visit where the prescription is "get a massage" is a good one imo.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: Rey from Star Wars? I don't know.
@canavara - Maybe this is super immature of me...but when you posted "all that jazz" in your WAYDTGKU section, I misread it as "all that jizz." Now I have the song "I Jizz in my Pants" by Lonely Island stuck in my head.
@houseofsetters I
love cauliflower and if DH didn't hate veggies so much I'd probably cook with
it more. So far the only thing I can get him to eat in that category is the
buffalo cauliflower dip! Soo good but not whole30 approved I'm sure lol.
@NamelessAria I can
sympathize! My DH is notorious for "quickly" going on the computer as
we are getting ready for bed. 2 hours later...I'm passed out and he's still on
the computer!
@Ladymillil Good
luck with the IUI! Fx it goes well.
@babymish Just had
to google that routine. Ending up watching a video on youtube called Wacking Vs
Voguing Too fun!
Month/cycle: 5/1
CD: 99 (I've got 99 problems but AF ain't one!)
WAYDTGKU: PNV, waiting.
R/R/CS: Started temping today! I manually
reset my obnoxious chart on FF by adding a "fake" AF day. I know at
this point it is pretty meaningless but I'm happy to be trying something else
and get in the habit now. Also going to try and chart other "symptoms" and hoping it won't get my hopes up because it would be unrealistic at this point. We also HIO without protection on the weekend for the first time in over a month. We had originally stopped because the BSC crazy and constant testing was getting to me. But really it may be another few months before it even it even becomes relevant again and if by some freaky miracle I O and get KTFU before AF, I don't really participate in any risky behaviors, and will just POAS again if I feel the need. DH is super happy about that!
GTKY: Having a hard time choosing between being
a vampire, a witch, or super rich socialite. Twilight, Harry Potter and Gossip
Girl are totally lame answers but I want to be immortal, magic or loaded!
Hello again! Time for my last round of responses before heading
home. Y’all, I FINALLY figured out how to put a gif in my siggy! I know it is ridiculous but I am so
excited about this!
@mrsdaddario I’m glad
you think the bleeding is slowly but surely stopping! Phew.
@ladystinson hells
yes to the Nutella! I may have to get a jar ‘o that deliciousness tonight when
I go grocery shopping.
@MrsJ2410 Don’t you love that our bodies continually
surprise us? Boo. Hope you get answers soon!
@Jillbean216 OMG I
always have Walking Dead dreams, especially the night after I watch a new
episode. Last night’s finale was rough!
So sorry for your loss. We are here for you; big hugs your way!
@Aurora1973 Yeah, I
would try discarding at least CD14 to see what happens. FX you did O on CD16!
@linzrunz I’m really sorry about what happened with your
MIL. I hope that your situation improves soon!
@kaityh1 Glad to see you
here! I’m sorry your friends weren’t very receptive to your discussion last
night. You don’t need to feel whiney—I would have felt hurt too. Just know that
you can always come to this board and vent about whatever you need to and we
will be here for you!
@kfair001 ditto, why
can’t O be on the same day? Life would be so much easier!
@babymish I was
laughing out loud at the idea of the class that you went to, and then reading
about you doing the routine for your SO! Love it-that class sounds like so much
fun! I sometimes dance for my SO (it sounds silly when I say it, but he loves
it and I don’t mind) so I’m glad to know I’m not the only one…perhaps he is just as alarmed but pretends not to be....
@wineo929 I have
thought the same thing about perhaps diluting OPKs with increased water intake…hmmm..hope
O shows up for you soon!
@canavara we’ve used
pre-seed since starting TTC back in late December. I don’t always use it like the box says (using the insertion tubes or whatever 15 min or so before
HIO)—usually I just use a small amount as lube, since (sorry if TMI) I am usually a bit
too dry to get things going, even when O is happening. I like it, but as a
rule, less is more! I’ve read a lot of “we
used pre-seed and got preggers the first try” reviews, but I don’t think that
has ANYTHING to do with the pre-seed, I believe that those are purely coincidental. Obviously it hasn’t worked for us in that way since we’re 4 cycles in. But,
like I said, if you need a fertility friendly lube, it really works for that!
@aammyy33 re-setting
your chart by adding a “fake” AF day sounds like a really good idea. Good luck!
TTC January 2016 BFP May 17, 2016 DS born January 31st, 2017: Rory "Mac" MacKinnon
@wineo929 I thought it might be a water intake issue but for
the last several months I have literally been drinking so much water. There is definitely more CM but nothing that
is obviously EWCM. I think I’m going to
try this EPO. Next cycle! Thanks for the
advice!
@canavara OMG I know.
I saw that GIF and I literally let it loop about 3545312551 times.
Yours is adorbs too!
@BerkeBaby Hahahahha someone else other than me knows that
song! Amazing!
@aammyy33 Haha Immortal, magic or loaded. I second that!
@kellybean1988 I’ve only been charting three months and I have
yet to hit the same day. BOO!
R/R/CS: I just got my OPKs a few days ago so I'm having fun having to POAS and seeing it slowwwwwly getting darker. Hopefully we'll get our timing right this go around.
*TW* I've been part of a mama group that originally came from the bump and while I love them all, there have been back to back pregnancy announcements in the past month. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely thrilled for them, I'm just sitting here daydreaming about the day I can share the same news.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: Oh gosh, I can't think of one at the moment, but definitely NOT the walking dead. Last night episode! I just can't.
@canavara - Maybe this is super immature of me...but when you posted "all that jazz" in your WAYDTGKU section, I misread it as "all that jizz." Now I have the song "I Jizz in my Pants" by Lonely Island stuck in my head.
When we first started dating DH set that as the ringtone for when I called him.
@Berkebaby Some women just naturally don't have a lot of EWCM. I have tons and it hasn't helped me :S Have you tried checking internally? Keeping hydrated, green tea and guanifausen (sp?) in Robitussin can help with EWCM.

I have checked everywhere and I never seem to have much/any CM in general. I drink a ton of water, so I'm wondering if it has to do with hormone levels? I will definitely try green tea and Robitussin to see if those help.
So I'm going to be one of those people who post but don't have a lot to contribute today. I will explain more in my R/R/CS, but I wanted to apologize in advance! Month/Cycle: 3/3

WAYDTGKU: All the norms / Nothing out of the ordinary
R/R/CS: I had a day at work where I literally was going non-stop, followed by a faculty meeting. It passed by in a blur. Which is usually good. Except I'm sick. Like I should be in pajamas under a blanket drinking tea kind of sick. I was planning to take the day tomorrow until my coworker also started to feel sick and took the day AND the sub I wanted. She's a retired teacher from our department so she comes in and actually teaches for us, it's fantastic. And then I remembered I also am supposed to tutor two kids after school tomorrow anyway. So now I'm not taking the day. And I know I might regret it. But it's better to save the days anyway. And next week is spring break. So there's that.
GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why? I always say I want to be a character in Harry Potter but one that's not actually good friends with Harry so I'm less likely to be involved in all of the dangerous near death activities. Because of course who wouldn't like to live in a world of magic with minimal risk, right?!
@BerkeBaby I am really in the same boat as you... But I always figure that it's (the EWCM) mere presence is a good sign. And then I use pre-seed to make life better. But when I hear people say "loads of EWCM" all I can think is "omg these women must be slime factories! "
Re: WTO Monday
@felix08We are right in the same place! And I totally know that feeling. I was totally convinced I was KU this month until AF showed her ugly face. I had such bad cramps yesterday I stayed in bed and watched movies and ate junk food all day. Take care today!

@hurricaneamelia and @felix08I'm sorry about CD1 showing up. It's totally okay to be frustrated with this process, even amid falling in the "normal, healthy for it to take up to a year." You're in good company here.

Thanks for looking!
My manipulated chart:
You guys, I am almost positive today is O day, or at least O is close. I’m having some fairly uncomfortable middle pain on the left side, where I usually get it. Despite my effed up chart last month, my doctor thinks that I O’d on CD16 then, so it could be the same this time, woo! I’m gonna have to text hubby and tell him tonight’s the night!
@Steelerfan3878 Welcome! We’re happy to have you here. I love redheads too!
@LadyMillil Oooh Cristina Yang would be a good choice!
@Sparty18 No eye rolls here! Glad your DH is back!
@juliebeannn Booo to Mondays. Yuck!
@PepperAT Oh nooo, I hope your hubby feels better soon! Man-colds are the absolute worst.
@furbabymom2007 Sometimes I think our temps just do whatever they want. Boo. But the EWCM and positive OPKs don’t lie, so I’d keep HIO!
@felix08 yes, I agree it’s great to have a place to have a pity party. The “real world” people who know I’m TTC aren’t always the best support, but you ladies certainly are!
@ladystinson OMG my parents have chickens too! That’s hilarious! The ancient Celts used to carry around hazelnuts in their pockets or hang them in their houses to promote fertility—I would be lying if I said I haven’t considered buying some hazelnuts for this purpose…lol (or maybe I should just eat some nutella? I should just eat some nutella.). In addition, I bought some beaded earrings with turtles on them when I worked out on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota this past summer…in some indigenous cultures, the turtle symbolizes and brings fertility. I am wearing these earrings every day this week during my FW, lol!
@MelissaM090 ooh, have fun with your new fitness classes! I hope they are as fun as fitness classes can be!
@mrsjqg1024 Wow for getting it on with the inlaws in town! Awesome! Sounds like your timing will be good if you O’d yesterday.
@mrsdee15 I think it’d be fun to be Luna too—she is such a great character.
@becbec28 So sorry about CD2. Hoping AF moves out soon! And booo to your friend complaining about her preg being uncomfortable. So sorry, I totally get it!
@Rottiemom86 It is absolutely ok to jump back in, we are happy to have you here! Take care of yourself, thinking of you!
@BecauseLove I hope you get to check a lot off your list today as well. I love Laura Ingles Wilder and those books!
@virginiaham I am so sorry you’re having a rough time. We are here for you, sending big hugs your way.
@thj101 right? I have no idea what I expected going into the process of TTC, but it was nothing like what I’ve experienced! I think I just didn’t expect it to be as emotional as it is. Which is dumb, like duh, of course it’s going to be emotional. Whatever ! I have been able to remain pretty positive overall throughout so I’m hoping that doesn’t change, but you’re right—it can be frustrating!

@becbec28 Sorry for CD 2

@BecauseLove Hope the chiro helped you!

GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?:
Hmmm this is tough.

@mrsdaddario and/or @NamelessAria - When you say you've been having "lots" of EWCM, how much is that exactly? I think I need to mention to the RE that I don't get very much. I may notice a small amount (maybe a dime-sized spot when I wipe), but that's it the rest of the day. There are also patches of time when I don't have any and I've only had what I would consider "lots" one time.
Sorry if it's TMI, or you don't want to answer...I'm just beginning to notice that I might not be ovulating at all...just getting the temp shifts and AF, without the most important part...
**TW-loss and other children mentioned**
@virginiaham I am so so sorry to hear about your loss, I don't know how I missed it earlier.

GTKY: If you could live the life of one TV show/Movie/Book/whatever character for a predetermined period of time who would you chose and why?: I don't know, but I do know that I have nightmares that I am living the lives of the people in Walking Dead...so anything but that.
mrsdaddario Thanks!

ETA: Chart stalks are still welcome, but I had forgotten to check what would happen if I set my FF to FAM instead of Advanced.

@JediAlly85 Same boat as you! Keep HIO! Hope we both O very soon!
@houseofsetters Not impressed that it’s Monday either. Boo!
@NamelessAria My DH went through a phase right after Christmas where he was obsessed with his new PS2. Luckily he has the attention span of a 6 year old and got over it really quick lol. Hopefully yours does the same!
@kellybean1988 FX for O very soon! I wish O was just consistently on the same day every month. Why do they have to make it so confusing!
@thj101 YAY for getting your thermometer. GL temping!
@BerkeBaby sorry about your thermometer! That’s the worst. FX that you do still O this cycle. Have fun in Baltimore!
@felix08 I feel the same way. Every time I add something, I feel like I have a better shot but nope!
@Lecool Wasn’t able to book a massage this weekend because I ended up hurting my back. Don’t even know what I did but there definitely something tweaked. I’ll just live vicariously through your massage for the time being. At least until the back loosens up. lol
@HurricaneAmelia Sorry about CD 1 and sorry about the disappointing cycle. I felt the same way last month. But similar to you, this month I’m back in the gym and focusing on my health as well. It has been a nice distraction. GL to you this cycle!
@sammajane19 Good luck at your RE appointment. I hope it goes well for you.
@gonetothesea Those black out curtains are a blessing and a curse!
@Dilynne Yay for Mabis and OPKs. Good luck! P.S. Love Criminal Minds!
@ladystinson Sorry that you had a really tough time with not being KTFU with month. Sucks that some months are harder than others. FX for a BFP for you soon!
@Steelerfan3878 Welcome to WTO! GL to you!
@LadyMillil Rory Gilmore is a good one!
@Sparty18 Yay for another day. Fingers crossed that you haven’t O’d yet!!!
@juliebeannn FX your Monday goes fast!
@PepperAT haha the “man-cold” so dramatic!!!! My DH is the worst too!
@furbabymom2007 Oh no. Sorry FF and your chart are a little weird this month. Hope you get some answers from some of the lovely ladies here!
@MelissaM090 Yay for positivity! I’m doing the same this month. FX that we can both keep it up!
@mrsjqg1024 FX that you O’d yesterday and can move over to TWW very soon!
@mrsdee15 Boo for going back to work. Hope the day flies by for you.
@becbec28 sorry about CD 2 and the let down.
@Rottiemom86 Yay for you cycle being normal length! FX that it happens for you soon.
@BecauseLove Hope the Chiropractor went well. FX that you are able to get a lot of work done today!
@virginiaham So sorry for your loss.
@mrsdaddario Fx that the bleeding ends soon. We got the snow here today. My drive in was less than ideal!
@MrsJ2410 Oh the continued surprises! Hope you’re feeling better.
@Jillbean216 Sorry for your loss.
@Aurora1973 FX that the smart ladies here can provide some insight into your chart!
@linzrunz FX that O holds off for you!

Edited to add: I saw your updated post further down the thread...I have to be honest when I guess an FF chart correctly I want to do a little fist pump...
TEAM: PINK!!
Sorry for the rough TTC day, @felix08 Hugs
@Lecool, I have an 11 day LP which always makes me worry, too. Good luck at your appointment!! Average doesn't feel as good when it's the "low average"
@kfair001, I had the same type of CM so I started EPO 2 cycles ago. This is the first time I'm like... YES THIS IS EWCM!! I've also really upped my water intake, so maybe that helps too?
Sorry for CD 1 @HurricaneAmelia, hugs
@Sammajane19, good luck!! Why did your OB want you to stop? Just curious, I'm on cycle 6 and haven't talked to mine about TTC other than at my annual before we actually started.
We have those curtains, too @gonetothesea. It is so so hard to get up!
@ladystinson, I'm sorry this cycle is hitting you hard. The last month or so has been really bad for me, too. Not that it helps you at all, but at least you can know you have a solid support of ladies who understand
Happy Monday, huh? @Kellybean1988. Bleh!
Hopefully back for more later, but it's time to run to Target!

@houseofsetters I love cauliflower and if DH didn't hate veggies so much I'd probably cook with it more. So far the only thing I can get him to eat in that category is the buffalo cauliflower dip! Soo good but not whole30 approved I'm sure lol.
@NamelessAria I can sympathize! My DH is notorious for "quickly" going on the computer as we are getting ready for bed. 2 hours later...I'm passed out and he's still on the computer!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, waiting.
R/R/CS: Started temping today! I manually reset my obnoxious chart on FF by adding a "fake" AF day. I know at this point it is pretty meaningless but I'm happy to be trying something else and get in the habit now.

Hello again! Time for my last round of responses before heading home. Y’all, I FINALLY figured out how to put a gif in my siggy! I know it is ridiculous but I am so excited about this!
@mrsdaddario I’m glad you think the bleeding is slowly but surely stopping! Phew.
@ladystinson hells yes to the Nutella! I may have to get a jar ‘o that deliciousness tonight when I go grocery shopping.
@MrsJ2410 Don’t you love that our bodies continually surprise us? Boo. Hope you get answers soon!
@Jillbean216 OMG I always have Walking Dead dreams, especially the night after I watch a new episode. Last night’s finale was rough! So sorry for your loss. We are here for you; big hugs your way!
@Aurora1973 Yeah, I would try discarding at least CD14 to see what happens. FX you did O on CD16!
@linzrunz I’m really sorry about what happened with your MIL. I hope that your situation improves soon!
@kaityh1 Glad to see you here! I’m sorry your friends weren’t very receptive to your discussion last night. You don’t need to feel whiney—I would have felt hurt too. Just know that you can always come to this board and vent about whatever you need to and we will be here for you!
@kfair001 ditto, why can’t O be on the same day? Life would be so much easier!
@babymish I was laughing out loud at the idea of the class that you went to, and then reading about you doing the routine for your SO! Love it-that class sounds like so much fun! I sometimes dance for my SO (it sounds silly when I say it, but he loves it and I don’t mind) so I’m glad to know I’m not the only one…perhaps he is just as alarmed but pretends not to be....
@wineo929 I have thought the same thing about perhaps diluting OPKs with increased water intake…hmmm..hope O shows up for you soon!
@canavara we’ve used pre-seed since starting TTC back in late December. I don’t always use it like the box says (using the insertion tubes or whatever 15 min or so before HIO)—usually I just use a small amount as lube, since (sorry if TMI) I am usually a bit too dry to get things going, even when O is happening. I like it, but as a rule, less is more! I’ve read a lot of “we used pre-seed and got preggers the first try” reviews, but I don’t think that has ANYTHING to do with the pre-seed, I believe that those are purely coincidental. Obviously it hasn’t worked for us in that way since we’re 4 cycles in. But, like I said, if you need a fertility friendly lube, it really works for that!
@aammyy33 re-setting your chart by adding a “fake” AF day sounds like a really good idea. Good luck!

YAY for Monday almost being over!!!
@babymish FX for O soon!
@wineo929 I thought it might be a water intake issue but for the last several months I have literally been drinking so much water. There is definitely more CM but nothing that is obviously EWCM. I think I’m going to try this EPO. Next cycle! Thanks for the advice!
@canavara OMG I know. I saw that GIF and I literally let it loop about 3545312551 times. Yours is adorbs too!
@BerkeBaby Hahahahha someone else other than me knows that song! Amazing!
@aammyy33 Haha Immortal, magic or loaded. I second that!
@kellybean1988 I’ve only been charting three months and I have yet to hit the same day.

@Berkebaby Some women just naturally don't have a lot of EWCM. I have tons and it hasn't helped me :S Have you tried checking internally? Keeping hydrated, green tea and guanifausen (sp?) in Robitussin can help with EWCM.
Thank you!
