Opinion on name for girl

So my DH and I are team green. We have our boy name picked out and we're good there. However for a girl I want ppls opinions on something. The name for a girl we have is different. Hoxie May. I don't want opinions on the name itself because we know it's what we want. What I'm wondering is I am due may 9th, but if I go early and it's born in april should I change the spelling of may to Mae for her middle name. The middle name isn't a sentimental name, we just think hoxie may sounds good and hubby thought since it's due in may that it would work perfect. 

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    It works either way, but the "Mae" spelling has more of a traditional appeal.

    If you use Mae, the last letters of both names will be the same. Which I kind of dislike.

    So I would stick with May:)

    I prefer 'May' over 'Mae,' myself, but to answer your question I don't think it would be weird to use 'May' if your child arrives in April.

    My husband found it while looking for tractors for sale. It's actually a town in Kansas I believe. I looked it up and it's never been a name according to social security. He wanted something unique. Since I have our boy name picked out he got to choose the girl, with my approval of course.  :)

    You might check the Baby Names board also, if you haven't already. Personally, I prefer Mae over May but I think either should be fine in any month.
