This was a fun thread on the last BMB that I was apart of, so I thought it may be fun for all of us as well. I know most of us won't be purchasing anything until our 2nd and 3rd trimesters, but it's always fun to window shop and do research!
What stroller, crib, car-seat, baby-carrier, etc are you lusting after? Have you already purchased something because you found a great deal on it or just HAD to have it?

Re: Baby Gear Lust
We used the arms reach cosleeper last time but I'm lusting over the halo that swings around. Sounds like heaven for the back.
We we will need a crib since our son is still in his. And, probably another changing table because ds still uses his and it's the only place he'll let me change him with out squirming.
Oh, and we need to build a third room. Fun.

Crib-wise, we're just going to buy one with some drawers from Ikea the next time they have a sale. Baby will be in our room until 18mos, so we're not doing a big nursery or anything and storage will be at a premium.

@nauticallife, Thanks for explaining! I think I'd like to try some of them on, to see which fits me (and DH) best? I did just check out the Lilliebaby site and those are SUPER cute! I love the fun patterns, and breathability is key!

Love our Tula. It was super helpful when we flew. I wore lo through the airport security line and it was so nice. We also have the Britax infant car seat and stroller combo. Love them and we have made good use of the stroller. I love how easy it is to open and close.
This kid (No. 2) probably won't get too much new since my DS is only 18 months so we have almost everything. I may splurge on the Mamaroo since I didn't get one of those last time!
Awesome Kid #2: Due November 2016!
Since this will be our first baby/first stroller, I really want to choose something that I love and won't regret. Luckily, I've still got a while!

Jumping on this bandwagon. My kids don't sleep so I would LOVE one of those.
I'm right there with you @lilwonder. The whole stroller thing is overwhelming and they are so expensive. I want to make sure we choose the right one for us since they are pricey. I'd like one that can eventually turn into a double and has a bassinet option. The City Select is my favorite right now, I've also looked at the UppaBaby Vista.
Edit: Spelling
Other than that, not much. I don't really need anything new. I have a stroller that converts to a double (britax b-ready) and i picked up the second seat on clearance when my daughter was a newborn, haha. I'm not crazy about it, but I'm also not going to spend major $$$ on a city mini side by side double.
The UPPABaby Vista is the only stroller I'm interested in at this point that has the capability to go double (and still looks great/functions well single). The other thing I like about the Vista is that the bassinet is separate. With the Bugaboo (which cannot be converted into a double, unless you get the donkey frame- no thanks!) you have to take the seat fabric off the toddler seat and build the bassinet with it. I do understand that you're only using the bassinet before they can sit-up on their own and then the toddler seat after, but having two separate pieces just seems better in my mind.
On top of it, DH and I still like the Nuna Pipa and Cybex Cloud Q Plus as far as carseats go. Both of these can easily work with any of the strollers I've mentioned, using adapters-- I just want to choose the right combo and it's like moving target.
Side note: I've looked at the Cyber Priam as well-- NO idea why they are so flimsy! Literally, the handle has a good 5" to 6" of "play" in it and doesn't seem very well made at all. It's super cool looking but just doesn't seem functional enough.

I'm also considering the mamaroo. I borrowed it from a friend with my first and it SAVED us. My kid was a motion junkie when it came to sleeping, so the mamaroo not only helped us get sleep, it helped us wean him off motion and into his crib by slowly reducing the speed.
I'll need to get a double stroller at this point, but don't know which yet. I like the Joovy Caboose Ultralight, since it has both a sit and stand option for the bigger kid.
In reality, I'm leaning towards the Contours Options Elite Double stroller, an ergo & a Solly wrap. But there's still lots of time to change my mind!
the BOB revolutions double stroller. Unfortunately, at $550 I don't think I can justify it to DH

Another item people may not be thinking of that I found essential was a glider (chair). After delivery and learning to tote around an object all day (the baby), my back hurt!! I nursed in that glider for every feeding. It was a life saver. We stillbusebit every night for bedtime routine. This was the item we spent the most money on and I think it was worth every penny.
@shevaCC with your Phil and teds, where did you put the infant? Did it work well or better as they got older?

This shop on Etsy can make Tula covers so you actually don't have to buy a new one if you don't want to!

I actually wore DS most of the time as an infant, but did sometimes lay the main seat down flat and put the second seat on top (the pic below I found online and baby is laying down underneath, visible from the back). I actually love that configuration bc no one messes with your baby since your toddler hides him/her. You can also keep the second seat underneath and get a car seat adapter but there wasn't a good adapter for the Chicco keyfit (our seat) so we skipped that.
ETA - I'm actually loving the stroller more now than when DS was tiny. I had no issues carrying a 12lb baby around all day but my 25lb toddler is a handful and my 32lb preschool still prefers to ride when we're going long distances. We live near Seattle via ferry and often leave our car and walk on the boat so we don't have to deal with parking downtown. I find it hard enough navigating an urban environment with a single-wide stroller. This one is no wider than a wheel chair so it goes nearly everywhere.
Edit- words are hard
really want a good SMALL double stroller that is not going to break the bank... for PPers always look on Ebay for things like the Mamaroo!! My husband found one for over half the price and my baby loved it! I had the Halo bassinet and it is so very nice and sturdy! It's just very heavy so if you're wanting to move it around I wouldn't suggest it, and actually same for Mamaroo- if you're wanting something easily movable I suggest a Rock and Play or whatever they're called.
@lilwonder - that is a beautiful glider!
I'm definitely getting an automatic Rock and Play this time, they were the rage on my last board. I had a bouncer, swing AND PnP but my son never liked any so I'm hesitant to spend more than $75 for that kind of thing.
I loved the cuteness and idea of the glider but it wasn't really comfortable long term. I lived in it last time since I nursed, but I'm quite tall so this time I'm just going to get a (hopefully) cute recliner. My toddler is cuddly and will most likely want in on that action when I'm sitting with the baby.
Craigslist is a great option for buying the pricier things.
Oh and a girl can never have too many Aden + Anais muslin swaddles. I can't wait to see what prints are out now. Greatest products ever.
Oh, and a big ole SUV with bucket seats and a 3rd row
I'm also for sure getting some kind of rocker, although I have no idea where im going to put it!

I saw a few people mentioning the uppa baby vista. If you're investing in it for a double I would strongly encourage you to check it out in the store. The second seat is very very small.
