@catherinekate - luckily this is completely out of character for him and I'm sure he'll be all sorts of apologetic. Although him apologetic is looking at me like a wounded animal and like I'm going to bite his head off which just makes matters worse.
Either way, I know this would never becan issue once LO is around, which is why I've encouraged him to indulge while he can. He just lost it last night somehow and I was so not in the mood to babysit him.
You handled the situation better than I would have (I feel like I've been saying that to a lot of you, lately - haha, not sure what this says about me), but glad it's not going to be an ongoing issue. My husband also does the doe-eyed, please don't hurt me look when he's in the dog house and it drives me absolutely crazy.
Oh! Im sure some of you have seen the Target diaper/wipe deal where if you spend $75, you get a $15 (I think) GC. If you use the coupons from the Proctor & Gamble insert in today's paper and combine it with your reg completion discount, you should be able to score some good deals. There are a couple coupons on Cartwheel too. BAM!

I am a couponing idiot. What is a completion discount? I've been wanting to score some diaper deals at target but can't figure out when the best sales are.

If you set up a registry at target, you get a 15% discount on remaining registry items to complete it.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

My random is that we were at my parents' all weekend, and while it was fun and relaxing, I've had NO time to myself (in a long.ass.time) and for this introvert, that means I'm uber crabtastic.
My OBs website lists safe medications for various issues. Nothing is listed for allergies. Is that because nothing is "safe" or is it just a bad list. I'll be calling in the morning, but I'm miserable! Any advise on what is safe to take?

I've been taking regular claritin as that is safe.

I take the Costco knock off of Zyrtec every day. I would be miserable without it!
I went to a friends baby shower yesterday. They live up in the mountains and it was such a great time. All the kids got along and played well. Even after cake there was very little whining. We ended up staying until 9:30 when it started at 3. We had so much fun, but I am so so very tired today. I'm not sure if this is because I am pregnant or because I'm not in my 20's anymore...
I've been taking an approved Zyrtec daily throughout. When I got a cold they told me that an occasional sudafed was okay if I was miserable but try other things first. I've also been sleeping better while using the nasal strips that hold your nose open wider. I've also been using Flonase for most of the pregnancy.
Ladies. The repayment for being a "drunk asshole" was so worth it. Dinner cooked and cleaned up, floors vacuumed/swept/mopped, bathroom clean...he literally said "you just tell me what to do and I'll do it for you!". I didn't have to leave the couch (unless it was to pee) all day/ night, it was fantastic.
Also, I'm sorry for all of you struggling with allergies I hope they pass soon!!
@GinnyJ2012 - My doctor said Zyrtec is okay for daily use. I take it every other day for a medication allergy.
I am looking for some feedback- My H was just asked by his work to go to Vegas to teach a training session the week of May 4th. They are apparently desperate since they overbooked their trainers. I will be 35 weeks at that point and my instinct is to tell him to just go as long as they agree that he can keep his phone on during the session and book the first flight out of there, regardless of cost, if anything happens. He would only be gone for three days and he has his yearly assessment to review his raise the following week so it would look very good that he was available to do it. Would you ladies be okay with your H leaving town that late in the pregnancy? I keep thinking "what are the odds that she will come early on one of those three days" and then I think "now that I've thought that, it will definitely happen".
Aaaaagh. I am such an idiot. I completely forgot about registry completion discounts and already bought the few items we'd need for the new baby. Uggggggggh.
@MeganF08 That's a tough one. I'd be inclined to say ok. Last time I was all gung ho for my husband to take a trip 3 weeks before my due date to run a race he runs every year. The morning he was supposed to fly out my water broke (@ 36w5d). So, this time we are cutting off travel 4 weeks out. I think it's a personal decision. You really just cannot tell.
@meganf08 how far are you from Vegas? For me, it'd be a 2 1/2-3hr flight, so I would be more hesitant to say no, because it's an hour on either side at the airport (dropping off bags/getting them) for a total of 5 hours. You could also have a contingency to back out if your dr appts start showing concern closer to the date.

I asked mine because this list seems a little out of date and Zyrtec, Calritin and Benedryl all make me drowsy. He said any nasal spray is fine including Flonase which seems to help me.
@Lilwatz - That's what makes me nervous. I know a lot of first time moms go past their due date but you can never be sure. I would feel guilty about telling him that I would rather him not go if nothing happens during that time but I would feel way worse about him missing the birth of his first child.
@shannonrnbsn - The flight from here is a little over three hours. That is a good idea, I should have him add that to his list of stipulations! Thanks!

Yes, it would look good on his review, but pregnancy shakes everything up! My H wanted to go to a training thing 4 hours away on May 8, but I'm due June 1 and am not comfortable with him going that close. I was induced with our first and overdue by about 5 days with our second, but who knows what will happen. And with flights being so sketch sometimes, I'd just be stressed out until he was home. But, that's just me....and I'm normally pretty laid back about everything.
@MeganF08 I totally get it. At some point you have to be ok with the risk. That's different for everyone. I, personally, am traveling up to one month out (well, my last scheduled trip is between 34-35 weeks). Maybe I am a idiot. I sure hope not! The probability of going early is lower and lower the earlier you get (unless you have a risk condition, obvi). One less comforting thing. My cervix was checked on a Wednesday. We told the OB about the upcoming trip for my husband and he was like--'You are FINE. Take the trip.' The my water broke Saturday. If the baby is coming, the baby is coming. Usually with little warning.
Anyone else notice one of the "I'm in the hospital with contractions" mom's finally came back and commented on a different thread. I'm glad all is ok ish, but SHE NEVER CAME BACK to tell us! Aghhh.

I bet you can either return the items or bring the receipt to the store with the certificate.
Thabks girls. I'm not sure I can function like this! I took Claritin this morning about an hour ago. I'm hoping it starts to work soon. I just want to crawl back into bed and sleep it off.

If you are low risk I'd tell him to go.
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
Have any of you skipped minor appointments? My 32 week appointment is coming up Thursday, and some of these are such a waste of time. I go in, get weighed, bp taken, heart beat checked, and then I leave. I am there for 5 minutes. In the waiting room for up to 20 minutes, and it a 40 minute round trip take away from my job.
There are no exams, I am not high risk, I do not get my urine checked, no u/s, no blood taken, etc.
@NicknShan ^ same. I probably wouldn't skip just because it'd get me out of work, lol.
My OB also always makes sure something else is going on at my appts like, at 28 weeks I got my tdap/pre-registration paperwork. At 25, my GD test. At 32 I'll get all of my disability paperwork, etc. I imagine they do that so people don't opt to skip.

Would you consider skipping one here or there?
I'd totally consider skipping, but I *think* part of that is the BTDT aspect. I wouldn't have wanted to skip any for my first (plus, the whole skipping work thing ), but now, I'm like....yeah, kinda a waste of time right now.

Yeah, I saw that and side-eyed it. It's not her first post since either. Glad she's ok, but if you ask for T&P and never come back to update people but post on other things...

I seriously laughed for like 10 minutes after I saw this one.

I had my shower this weekend.
When we were cleaning up, I realized my dress was on backwards the entire time.
NicknShan - I would TOTALLY consider skipping it. You're at appointments every two weeks now right? So you'd be back there soon anyways...
I totally hear you on feeling they're a waste of time. If I was still low risk, I'd definitely consider not going
@NicknShan I would consider skipping one here and there during some of these ones that seem silly.
