I just ordered us some rose and Roman chamomile hydrosols to see if i could get my kids to go to sleep easier and sleep longer. Toddlers need more than 7 hours! Plan on using the rose to help me, too
Guys, I just had to stop halfway through sweeping my house to take a break. Not only do I now have to finish, but I have to vacuum the rug and mop too. Le-sigh I need a housekeeper

Every day. I had to stop midway through unloading the DW because I was winded from bending and standing repeatedly.
@WaitingMay14 poison ivy is the worst!! I'm super allergic to poison ivy and I use Burt's Bees jewel weed soap. (Or Fels Naptha, it's in the laundry isle!) Jewel weeds naturally grow close to poison ivy and oddly enough it's also a natural remedy. You'll smell like a lumberjack but it'll make the spots go away much quicker. Hope you feel better soon!

I just found out my cousin is due about 2 weeks before me.... Lol they were at our wedding and nobody noticed she wasn't drinking, even though we have the same favorite beer and the resort brought it in for the event.
Now I want cake...... Lol. We are getting the mini bundt-inis from Nothing Bundt Cakes for my shower. SUPER excited for the lemon ones with the raspberry filling!!
I love these! There's one one mile down the street and its next to a Starbucks. It's just too easy to walk up there and buy one (or six). I always get the buy one get one free coupons in the mail too, so I go more often! They're always a big hit at parties. We had one for our gender reveal.

My husband just brought a chocolate mini-bundt cake home from work (apparently it was "doctor's appreciation day" or something) and he shared it--it was from Nothing Bundt Cakes and ooooooh man, that was good! I immediately looked up to see if they do wedding cakes, because my best friend is planning on having a small brunch wedding, so bundt cake seems perfect for that. (They do, and they are super cute.) I love the cake/icing ratio. I haven't been able to stop thinking about that damn cake. Now I desperately want to try the lemon/raspberry combo. This baby loooooves sugar. I'm scared to step on the scale at my doctor's appointment Monday after all the Easter treats I've indulged in.
I feel like all we talk about here is food (not complaining!!!), so can I ask for some good muffin recipes? I'm in a baking mood today and I have like 24 tabs open with different recipes and I can't choose. Need some ideas!

I've used bananas and choc chips, mixed berries, whatever I have on hand. And I do coconut oil instead of vegetable and vanilla Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
I've never made such plain muffins, but these look good! It's snowing here (wtf weather, seriously?) so these seem perfect. And thank you @MamaNicoleof3! I love recipes you can easily modify. I'm making an orange strawberry version of that recipe as we speak!

Yup!!! Those ones! I like them for that reason, they're plain enough that I can eat them with flavored jams plus, they're sweet enough with the streusel topping that I make it qualify as a dessert lol.
Thanks @Huskerfanz -- This is the second recipe with coconut oil I've seen today. Never cooked with it before but I'm intruiged. Does the flavour come through?

Not really. I was interested, too, so this is the first recipe I did that used it to experiment. Turned out well!
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

You can buy coconut oil that has the flavor, or the "extra virgin" has no taste.
I love muffins but haven't really attempted making them. I'll have to give some of these recipes a shot. Also, I've never even been to an IKEA before. I have a feeling I would spend way too much time and even more money if I went to one.
If being at Ikea today has taught me anything, it's that I have officially lost my patience for people. People are the worst!
***Stuck in the effing box***
My best friend works on the merchandising team at the Ikea here in STL, and she has told me some of the crap people do there (actually pooping in the display bathrooms, peeing in the beds, standing in the pretend showers naked and flashing passers by, ripping things apart or off the walls...) and I have to agree with your assessment about people. I hate to be a misanthrope, but sometimes, it's accurate to say that, yes, people really ARE the worst.

@shannonrnbsn I wish I were joking, but it's true. And what's worse, she said there's a travel team for Ikea that goes from city to city to help with new store start-ups, and they said St. Louis has by far been the WORST for pulling crap like I described above. Ugh...come on, STL! We are better than that!

What the actual? I don't want to live in a world where people behave like this.
I've mentioned my SIL on here a few times who was diagnosed with breast cancer, went in to remission, relapsed a few months after her son was born and was told in July it had spread to her bones. Doctor's had given her about 3-5 years to live.
She just let us know that her most recent scans showed ZERO signs of disease anywhere in her entire body! Even her doctor's were shocked and they've officially dubbed her in remission for the second time. She has an 18 month old and an 8 year old and although she is far from out of the woods she no longer has a 5 year death sentence looming over watching her boys grow up. I am not a crier and definitely not a happy crier, but she got me this morning.
These are are amazing and you can substitute any fruit. I've tried the original, blueberry and once I did strawberry and lime. The fruit ends up sort of melting into the muffin and they are really good.
Despite my aunt talking to my cousin, his fiancée has opted to not change her baby shower date from my graduation date. She's "compromised" and agreed to push it back a few hours which will likely force everyone to run to get out of my ceremony to be at her party an hour away on time. Her and my cousin also will not be attending my graduation ceremony because she's on "strict" bed rest (eye roll) and can't be up walking. But she can have and host a baby shower??? Okay. She didn't even have the balls to text me herself and tell me all of this. She had my cousin do it.
So frustrating BUT I decided to be the bigger person and just not throw a fit, I told my cousin I'd hold off on a big party until after the baby is born and I can have a combination celebration and drink but that I likely will not be able to attend the shower.
And thennnnn, I devised a plan to invite my family out to lunch to celebrate after my ceremony and whoever chooses not to come will not receive a phone call from me when I go into labor and will likely hear it through the Grapevine and/or see it on Facebook after he's born. They'll be SO mad, but I doubt that I'll even care. If they can't realize how ridiculous this all is and take an extra hour to have lunch with me I'm going to be genuinely hurt and being petty seems to be the only thing that might make me feel better.
C'mon. I can't be the bigger person ALL the time....
@ahernandez16 your cousins fiancé is a REAL piece of work, and the fact that your family hasn't quite picked up on her being a conceited and manipulative person is really mind boggling. So sorry you have to deal with all this!!
@ahernandez16 That is such amazing news I'm so happy for her and your family! Also I literally hate your cousin's fiancee and I've never met her! I think your plan is fantastic and, as your LB, I totally approve!
@lilwatz I need more details about your cake! Like what flavor will it be?! I love cake so much
Ladies I missed yesterday & feel like I have so much to catch up on! So of course i started here first! @ahernandez16 amazing news about her being in remission! What a wonderful miracle! Also, your other cousins fiancé is officially the worst... I don't blame you for your plans!!
Re: Weekly Randoms go here...
@Huskerfanz Glad you got to leave.
Everyone else, try to stay out of trouble okay?!

@catherinekate what kind of muffins? My favorite are the buttermilk spice from Mimi's Cafe. I'd link to the recipe but my phone is being a jerk....
