Pregnancy symptoms vs period symptoms

My husband and I decided almost 4 weeks ago that I would stop taking birth control and we would try to convince a child. We have tried baby making almost every other night all month. Recently I've had really sore nipples and very sensitive emotions. Do you think its my body adjusting to being birth control free or because I have concieved. (side note: I've been on metformin for insulin resistance. And first 2 weeks of this month I was on antibiotics)

OP - go buy a pregnancy test, pee on it and interpret the results. If it's positive, no need to report back, if it's negative, lurk moar, read the Newbie post and join in on the WTO & TWW threads.

OP, pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are virtually the same. There is no possible way we could know if you are pregnant or not. If you think you might be, take a pregnancy test.

It's against TOU to ask us if we think you're pregnant. We can't look inside your uterus. The only way to know for sure is to take a test.

We don't symptom spot (it's an exercise in futility) and its against the TOU to ask if we think you're pregnant.

I really don't understand why people think it's a good idea to ask a bunch of internet strangers if they're pregnant! Seriously OP just go buy a freakin test, we can't see inside your uterus.

It is against the TOU to post pictures of pregnancy tests here. It is also against the TOU to ask if you're pregnant.

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way we could possibly know whether your symptoms are your body adjusting to being off BCPs, bad PMS or early pregnancy symptoms. If you suspect that you're pregnant the only helpful thing I, or anyone else, can tell you is to take a pregnancy test. If the test is positive then congratulations you're pregnant. If the test is the negative then no, you're not pregnant at this time and the symptoms you're having are not pregnancy related.

If you get a BFP please try to remember that a lot of ladies here are struggling TTC. Whether that struggle is that they've been TTC for nearly a year without luck, an IF diagnosis or having been through loss(es). It can be extremely difficult for the ladies here to see pregnancy announcements. Especially when it's someone we don't know. So if you get a positive test please be considerate of the struggles ladies here are going through and don't update us. Simply move over to your Bump Month Board (BMB) or the 1st trimester board.

Yes I have actually. Back in August I was convinced I was pregnant. I was having nausea, food aversions, sore nipples, fatigue, etc. So I took a test and BFP. I, because I wasn't charting or temping at the time and had no idea if/when I ovulated, decided to just test weekly till my period started. All BFNs. Based off when my period started there is simply no way I had even ovulated when I was having all the "pregnancy symptoms." It was the last month I went without temping and charting. I promptly ordered a BBT thermometer and signed up for FF because I'm not going through that nonsense again.
