This is such a lazy Friday for me! Staying home all day while DH is at work and I've taken TWO naps today. So accomplished. Thinking about taking a third now...
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom I am SO jealous. I've been at work all day...and all I can think about is a nap. I'm SO TIRED... Maybe if I crawl under my desk....
They played the cruelest April fools joke at work. They sent an email saying there were Krispy Kreme donuts but in the boxes were vegetables
RUDE. Someone at work left a plate covered with a napkin that said "Free Brownies" and when I lifted it, there was a pile of literal brown cutout letter Es. SO SAD.

I am sitting still and watching a show while LO naps. I cannot remember the last time I did this. It. Feels. Good. After a crazy week and a busy morning at work and needing to get prepped for lo's birthday this weekend, I needed a minute.
Also, re: toddlers being assholes. We haven't quite reached that level yet, but the donkey part yes. So stubborn! My DH wonders how I can be so tired at night (never mind full time job and only 10 hours of childcare, so constant juggling), but I swear what exhausts me more than anything is that we cannot get anything done without me asking LO to do it AT LEAST 10 times. I feel like a broken record sometimes.
Now I want donuts. Wonder if I could talk DH into getting me some on the way home from he and his friends going to the driving range. Only it's not on the way home at all.
This is girl in my previous BMB did the online gender sneak peak thing....had the anatomy scan today AND it was totally wrong! I've seen people ask about these so thought I'd share!

oh dear, stuck in the quote box... That's crazy! Are they guaranteed or anything?

My husband switched his shift tomorrow so he's home at 6pm instead of 11pm. It means I can go out to dinner with my local mom group, he got so excited when he realized I could go now!!! Yes!!! (My husband rocks)
If anyone saw my FFFC my BIL is offically moved out!! DH and and I cleaned his room from top to bottom. Went to lowes bought a giant rug AND we put together the crib I bought from IKEA. In a matter of hours it went from bachelor pad to nursery! It's amazing and I want to just hang out in there now. DH says it was too early to put the crib together but we have it so I wanted it together!
Tomorrow we will tackle the DISGUSTING bathroom. Before he left he did "clean" it and it looks a little better but its still REALLY gross. my mom is actually coming to help me clean it since I don't want to really use all the super harsh chemicals all by myself. I still just don't understand how he lived here 15 months without ever cleaning it. I also don't know how his girlfriend put up with it. smh

@kosmo86 get a spray bottle or even better one of those sponge wands for dishes and mix half dishwashing liquid and half white vinegar. It is safe for you to use and it works so much better than any harsh chemical. Spray it all over the bath and let it sit for a bit then a little scrubbing and it comes off and leaves your bathroom super clean

Just curious...was the online gender thing like the Ramzi theory that people talk about or something else?
@kosmo86 I seriously can't believe that a 26 year old man had no idea how to clean a bathroom.. when I read that in your FFFC post I was like "Whaaaaa?" I'm sorry that you guys have to clean up that grossness -- the least he could have done is hired a cleaning service to come in and do just those two rooms (if that had been something you guys wanted!). I do feel for you though on the "boy bathroom" thing, because remembering back to my boyfriend's apartment in college that he shared with 3 other dudes, that bathroom was probably a toxic waste zone. I remember helping them clean when they were going to move and it was so hard to get through it without vomiting!
So glad you have the nursery started though, that must be a great feeling!!
@marikkita12 Thanks for the tip. So far I used some green cleaner to start and it worked pretty good. Still have a ways to go though unfortunately.
@SLou24 I knew what was going to happen the day he moved in. DH and BIL lived together in an apartment when we started dating. DH didn't clean his bathroom either! after a few months I told him to clean so he figured it out.

My boss just announced yesterday that she is 12 weeks pregnant! Yay! This will be her 3rd so I am really happy to have more empathy in my corner on the rough days. Plus, it was nice having someone else NOT drinking with me at our team bar crawl....
Married: 3/21/15 First time mom to a human but have been a puppy mamma for over 12 years
Things I have learned while being pregnant: Be careful when you sneeze you may burst a blood vessel in your eye...
Or pee on yourself.
Ugh! I was really nauseous last night and went to pee. A few minutes after I finished, I had to go back and throw up. I ended up peeing my pants like a 2 year old. Not leakage, I genuinely emptied my bladder (which I don't understand where all the pee came from) and soaked my pants down to my feet. Fabulous!
My little one had a bloody nose in the middle of the night. This is the first time she ever had one. It is everywhere...pj's, sheet, blanket, lovie. I'm trying my best to get it out. One wash and there's still remnants of the stains. My mom suggested hydrogen peroxide on the stains. I tried OxiClean first. Any other ideas?
I'm torn... We were invited to a party to watch 'Cuse play and I reallllly want all of the delicious food that will be there, but it won't start til 8 or so bc the game is so late. I think I'll just have DH make me a plate and bring it home. Id rather watch the game in the comfort of my own bed anyway. GO SYRACUSE!
@LizC216 hydrogen peroxide actually works wonders on blood!! I work with athletes, and have to get blood out of uniforms while they're in the middle of games. Just a dab and *poof*! Magic.
Started a new show on Netflix. Its called The Ranch. Only 1 season so far:( Anyone elsestill feel tired all the time? When I work during the week it's fine getting up, going to work. But on my days off when I know I should get stuff done; about all I want to do not even an hour after I wake up is go take a nap.. And can't even have enough coffee to help! Lol
I need to rant a little.. I'm on chat with customer service for our internet/tv service to see why our bill increased this month. The guy tells me that we haven't paid our bill for the past two months. We are on autopay and I track the money as it is taken out of our account. I told him this and he said "well that is what our system shows". I asked him to verify my account information and after a while he admitted that he typed in the account wrong. So I ask him my original question again and he said "yes I can see why it increased" and that is it.. I wait a little and ask him if he can tell me why and he takes another 5 or so minutes to respond to that question. He is lucky that we are on chat and not the phone for this conversation!
Our nursery furniture order is ready to be picked up from Babies 'R' Us! Two cribs, a dresser, a glider and an ottoman.
We won't be able to go get it for several days, probably, because we need to borrow a friend's truck and we won't be able to set it up for quite a while yet (we need to move furniture around between bedrooms and clean and all sorts of fun stuff), but it's here! So excited!
It's been a long, fun day celebrating my lo's 2nd bday. He skipped his nap, so he went to bed early. Took about 5 minutes to get him down. I'm still upstairs, pretending it's taking longer. A favorite side effect of being a mom is being able to sneak some alone time with no one being the wiser.
@Sporty1216 I did something similar today when it was my turn to run errands. DH was gone for most of the morning so I took my sweet time at SAMs club and Wallies (it was only 2 hours compared to his 4) and said the lines were atrocious. I soaked up every last minute of buying clearanced Easter items for next year and $1 Jammies!

I am trying to find something to wear to a birthday party tonight and everything just makes me look fat
All I want to do is curl up in bed, watch Netflix and order in...not go out and be sociable.
