@huskerfanz just feed them all the tots. I'm convinced that will make them want to stay in longer!!
Lol. Or maybe it will be like that super bowl doritos commercial and they'll come shooting out wanting all the tots.
Slept better than I expected! More meds and monitoring this morning. Then I think another cervix check and a check on their fluid as the med can decrease it. Then we'll see what the Dr thinks! The rest has been nice. The cold has kind of worn me out.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
@Huskerfanz I'm glad you were able to get some rest. Keep cooking babies!
For those who can't sleep because of BHs one Tylenol PM (or half of one) is magic! I did this as needed with my last two pregnancies and was able to sleep.
This might be TMI, but I have to vent about this somewhere
H is usually very understanding and sweet during pregnancy because he knows my emotions are all over the place. So last night, since we were both "in the mood", even after an awful day for both of us, we decided to spend some adult time together. Right in the middle, I needed to shift a little because, no position is really all that comfortable. So shifting requires separator for a moment. H looks down and goes "om my, you have a ton of discharge!" With a horrified look on his face. Yeah, so mood officially DEAD and of course tears because he had turned me down the night before. Of course he apologized but tried to tell me thought something was wrong. Because, you know, I haven't been going through a box of panty liners every week and a half. Moral: men are stupid so leave the light off during sex.
@MamaNicoleof3 Seriously. I've had a liner on 24/7 since mid-January. Before this PG I also had a MC and bled for a month. That, plus this, plus not being allowed to have sex (since January!), plus post-partum bleeding/grossness is making me very much look forward to July when all this business downtown will be done and over with. Please tell me it will be done and over with! lol
@Huskerfanz Glad to hear you're doing okay, thanks for the update! Keep 'em cooking, enjoy some tots for us, and keep us posted! We're thinking of you!
@candicek15 - When I first started the progesterone shots I kept hoping that my levels would bump up enough to do the suppositories. There were a few weeks that I ended up having to do both and decided I was better off with the shots. I am sorry that you are having to stay on them, I know they are a mess
I'm on hour 4 of a 24-hour urine test my OB is having me due because of semi-high BP. It is so hard! I like peeing every 30 min but am holding it more because it's hard work to bring the container into the bathroom etc. Seriously pray for me that this day goes by quickly!
Hooray for STILL being awake!!!! Its not so much that I can't get comfortable tonight, I just can't fall asleep These last 9ish weeks are going to be HELL if this continues. Anyone else in the same boat?
I'm sorry @sdLindenberg , that's the worst!! I had nights of exactly that last week...t H then started reading aloud and that has helped and I also have gotten back to diffusing oils and that has helped as well...

Oils! Yes! My H has started giving me nightly massages (please don't hate me. This never happened with the other pregnancies!) with coconut oil mixed with lavender and it's helped sooo much.

I try to do relaxation techniques from hypnobirthing/Bradley and it helps more often than not.
Just talked to my Dr! Going home sometime today for bed rest for the weekend and then back Monday to see how things look. Contractions slowed and cervix is a tad better even at 2.1ish.

@MamaNicoleof3@junebabyjoy my mom got my a diffuser for my birthday, but it's not here yet. I'm hoping that it gets here soon because I'm a mess. Lol. Between only a few hours of sleep last night, my cat wanting to cuddle with my belly, baby girl going ninja on my bladder And now allergies, omg... Lol.
@sdLindenberg- my allergies have been killing me, too. The congestion is awful. I emailed my doctor on Monday and she gave me a list of things to try. I can send them if you'd like.
So, I creep BMBs birth stories like there's no tomorrow - always have. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a ton of women being diagnosed with pre-eclampsia? Maybe it's always been this way and I've just never noticed - but it just seems more common than I ever recall.

Yes! I feel like all the early births are due to this. Maybe when I start reading the ones where they are born near their due date things might seem normal?
I also terrified something is going to go wrong in labor. I can't even have that conversation with DH without crying. I get..."women have been doing this forever.."

Terrified of this especially with my bp being the way it is right now, hence urine collection test! Off to go lurk....

Sleeping in 3 hour increments if I'm lucky. It's been tough.

Been quite a morning. Just got home after taking H first to urgent care and then ER....turns out he has a nasty viral respiratory infection. I'm all "I love you, but....."
Yikes @crdo! Hope he feels better soon and his germs leave you alone!!
Ladies, we have been all up in the ER this week for a huge range of reasons. It feels like too many of my bumpies have been through the ringer. Hope for a quiet April for us ladies!!
