@lunagrl79 I'm pretty sure everyone understands why you haven't been around much. That's the nice thing about being a part of a community like this. You give when needed and people give to you when needed. I will continue to think of you and hope that things only get better for you
@CourtJack- me, too. They're just getting worse as the weeks go on, which I theoretically know should happen, but man alive. I never felt them with my other two.
Why do toddlers have to figure out how to open doors? And why does my toddle have to be insanely tall enough to do it at 18 month when he wont listen to a damn thing I say? Seriously guys my kid is going to run out the front door and my pregnant ass is going to be too slow to catch him.

I'm sorry I just loled but I had such a funny visual of this. Super nanny to the rescue.
I can't keep up with this thread!! I hate how busy I am all day and can't be on here more And now my pregnancy brain forgets all the responses I was going to say! Grr!! I do have my GD test tomorrow morning so I'm praying it doesn't make me wanna puke!
So I'm at the hospital overnight being monitored for contractions/shortened cervix. Thought you ladies would like to know there is 24/7 room service and tator tots are on the menu!
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
Do we know if the tdap shot is live or dead ? My hubby had a horrible reaction when he was a baby I'm having second thoughts about giving it to LO right now
****Stuck in the box*** Tdap contains no pathogens. If i remember correctly, the tetanus and diphtheria components are components of the toxins they each produce, and the pertussis component is acellular, so it doesn't have any actually pertussis cells, just the immunogenic region of the bacteria. A friend of mine is allergic to the pertussis component and plans to get her kids vaccinated, they'll just monitor the baby for an anaphalytic reaction for 15 or so minutes after the shot to make sure they don't have an issue with it. Talk to your child pediatrician about your concerns, I'm sure they'd be willing to spend a few extra minutes monitoring your child if your husband had a life threatening reaction.
As far as the rash, while it sucks, it isn't the end of the world, its just your immune system doing its job and a rash is a heck of a lot better than your child getting a life threatening illness.
Saw peanut butter Oreos in the store yesterday, but still could not buy them thanks to that oh so scary photo!
I seriously did not think posting that pic would have such devastating effects. My humblest of apologies!!
@MamaNicoleof3It's okay really! I just have a major fear. If you have ever seen that photo of bananas on Facebook, well seriously I want to delete anyone who posts it just to never have to see it by mistake. That is the worst, scrolling through then uh oh, big nasty creepy crawly photo!

Thank you for letting us know! Praying the contractions go away and those babies stay put for awhile longer! Update when you can and GET SOME REST, mama!!

We put chain locks on both sides of every door our kids aren't allowed to go through (aka bathroom bc they turn on tub water all the time) and kitchen (to get to the back door)

@Huskerfanz GL & keep cookin! @lunagrl79 glad to hear you check in! Keep moving forward!
@sdLindenberg I had a strong reaction to my TDaP too. Feverish, little headache, nauseous. I had to teach my morning class bc this teenager who was definitely not sick couldn't go. We have 3 instructors but can do the groups with 2 but bc this little brat wasn't there I had to drag myself to the rink to make sure classes were covered. She'd be done teaching already if her mom wasn't so involved with the FSC board... Grumble grumble. I felt much better 2 days after though and great 3 days after so it was quick! And Tylenol helped!
Also this week along with TDaP I took and failed my 1 hour GD, this AM had my follow up 3 hour GD and passed! 2 days of being very worried about it but I'm very relieved to not to have to worry about LO. Nurse told me to take it easy on carbs anyways so I will try to eat a little better.
@mamanicoleof3 I've been having them all day and luckily, the last one occurred mid-potty break lol. I'm about to pop a Tylenol and take a warm bubble bath.
@lynnernon that sucks... We have a couple coaches on staff that are always gone for various reasons (usually they're on vacation but that's literally every other week...). This teen sounds awesome!!!! (Please note sarcasm lol) She gets special treatment because her mom is on the board? Ugh. Good to know I'm not the only one who felt gross after the Tdap!!
@sdLindenberg I think it's more that our director can't figure out how to navigate the social situation around her mom being on the board. She's young and hasn't had to do any personnel management before this (though she's doing most of it better than our last director!) and doesn't want to do the awkward disciplining. I'm trying to push the director to do some of those tough things before I leave!
Can't sleep so I was on FB and this page sanctimommy came up from someone's like. Omg I've been dying laughing over here. (Much needed). Thought some of you may enjoy it.
@Huskerfanz keeping you guys in my thoughts. Hang in there and eat all the tots!
Thanks again everyone for the positive messages. Sending you all huggy vibes.
@GinnyJ2012 glad all is ok!! @lunagrl79 hugs and hang in there. @huskerfanz sending you my prayers and hugs!! Hope contractions go away and you can be home with DS soon!!
Hooray for STILL being awake!!!! Its not so much that I can't get comfortable tonight, I just can't fall asleep These last 9ish weeks are going to be HELL if this continues. Anyone else in the same boat?
Re: Weekly Randoms go here...
Only stopped twice in 3 hours to pee thus far.
Yet I need to pee again.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

I am 31 weeks pregnant, actually feeling pretty, and had to leave the wedding when my DH got sick. Why do I feel such little sympathy for him?
