Harriet?

Hi ladies! I disappeared after I had my 2 kiddos, but am dreaming of the third now. Apologies if Harriet is something you've already talked around a bunch. How does everybody feel about the name? I originally loved it for the nickname (Hattie) but it is growing on me on its own now. TIA for the feedback!

It's NMS but I do know someone who used that name for their girl. She's about 5 now.

I love the nn Hattie, but Harriet just reminds me of the mom from Family Matters.

I'm a total 90's kid so I will forever think of Harriet the Spy. Definitely NMS.

I absolutely love it. It's a classic, I like the Harriet the Spy reference (which was a wonderful book from the 70s before it was that awful movie) and I love the nn Hattie. Excellent choice.

Love this name! There's a smashing little girl named Harriet in this great classic film, Father Goose.

Not a fan. It sounds like a mom name, and doesn't have a very pretty sound.

But, I could see it making somewhat of a comeback and breaking that mom-name vibe if has for me.

I think it is adorable! Old-fashioned, yes, but that is not a bad thing in my opinion. And Hattie is very sweet as well. Go for it if you love it!

This probably makes me sound old but Harriet makes me think of the tv show "Small Wonder" with Vicki the robot. Harriet is the annoying red headed neighbor girl.

I think I actually like Harriet more than Hattie. Hattie sounds a little stuck-up to me (maybe just bad memories of Maddies from middle school, plus the stepsister from the book Ella Enchanted).

I absolutely love it. I have a thing for "old lady names", and this one is old fashioned in a cute way. It's unique but not made-up or misspelled. I'm all for it!
