Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My belly feels so heavy & uncomfortable. Whenever I stand up I feel like baby is just going to fall right out. Weird. Rave: I don't work until this afternoon so I get to sit & enjoy a hot coffee without feeling rushed this morning. And it's my Friday! Symptoms: Oh man, everything! Heartburn, RLP/uncomfortable, sore back, exhausted (but can't sleep), feel like I have to pee all the time even when I don't actually have to do (thanks kid)...

GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? When I'm actual able to, I love sleeping...falling asleep to the sound of rain is one of my favourite things ever! I also think rainy days make perfect movie + cuddle days. I kind of love the rain!

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just ordered my free breast pump through my insurance. Yay!
Questions? I can't ever think of any until way later...hmph
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Sleeping, or reading a good book. Rainy weather makes me depressed yuck!
Rave/Rant: Grouting tile is an activity designed by the devil, and should be banished to the deepest pits of hell. Ok, a little dramatic, but suffice it to say I hate it. Spent 5 hours grouting, cleaning up grout lines on the kitchen backsplash, and cleaning up the mess. Also, managed to pinch the hell out of my lady bits wedging myself in between the counter and the stove--yes, I cried. But....it's facking DONE.
Dinner and bed happened at 1230am. I'm definitely going to fall asleep in my chair before 11 am.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I'm so behind on everything. Here and in real life. Ugh! We went to Disney with DD (which was great!) then this week has been non-stop. Symptoms: nothing much. Can't wait to see hour much weight I've gained since last appt. Sarcasm. judging by my home scale, it's a lot.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Glucose test today.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? I always sleep the best when it rains at night. During the day, definitely reading.
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - I have to take my H to this car repair place this morning and then spend about 4 hours amusing myself around town while he teaches his class, which basically means running bitch errands. Rave - My H finally finished his wyoming bar application and he's in a slightly better mood now. Symptoms - Tired, cranky, noticed more stretch marks, boo.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing this week
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Curled up on the couch or in the recliner with a good book and some comfort food.
Rave: Started a new prenatal yoga class this week and we did some amazing stretches! My lower back is so sore because I commute every day and sit on my butt all day, but some of these stretches were so restorative that I'm going to try them at home.
Rant: Guess where I am... And it wasn't chilled.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? This week nothing! Finished some house projects and going to wait a couple weeks before we dive back in. I have end of May as a target deadline to get the nursery set up.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? You're not kidding about the rain! It's like a monsoon here in Stratford. I like curling up with a tasty beverage (wineeee I miss you!), a book or movie and some junk food. I hermit.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Had a dream that H and I were on a weekend away and a gal we go to church with showed up while I was in the shower and I walked out to them doing.....stuff. Good times :-/ Aside from that, I had a migraine yesterday and have had allergies on top of feeling like a preggasaurus. Less than 9 weeks! Not that I'm counting down...
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to kick Hs butt into gear. I have my registry completion discount and now that I got paid, I can go buy the rest of what we need!

@MsBeachNJ I take magnesium at night to help with Charlie horse cramps and issues with my IT band. It aids with muscle relaxation. I take one tablet of 250mg of chelated magnesium. My chiro specifically recommended the chelated kind but I can't remember why for the life of me.
How far along are you? 29+1
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Having trouble sleeping due to hip pain and baby dance parties in the middle of the night. Also had no indigestion yesterday when I switched my prenatals to latest in the day. Woohoo! And DH's office is throwing us a shower today. Can't wait! We also leave tomorrow for our babymoon weekend getaway and I'm sooooo looking forward to the couple's massage and my pedicure.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Reading up on labor and delivery. Good lord, it's a good thing I didn't read about any of this pre prego or it would have scared me more than I already was to try.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Be lazy, watch a movie, eat popcorn, or stay in bed with DH if it's a weekend and we don't have much to do. Those days are numbered.
Another rave, just found out my husband just got hired on at a job! I'm so happy because we've been scrimping and saving for so long. This will make such a difference! It's not a lot but every bit helps!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: It's some weird, obscure holiday today so I don't have school. But I have to work all day. Blah.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I got paid yesterday so I'm just trying not to buy all of the things. Just a few more weeks until my shower....
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? With my windows opened and my butt plopped on the couch in front of whatever I'm currently binge watching on Netflix.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Loving spring weather. Hopefully it lasts through the weekend.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Got a diaper bag yay! Also ordered a breast pump.
Questions? The lady administering my blood draw after the test said that when the drink makes you feel good, you failed, and that when you are jittery and sick, you passed. Is that a good eyeball indicator? Just curious. Anyone felt crappy and failed?
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Sleep in. Read a book. Ply board games or watch a movie.
@catherinekate I'm gonna be in Stratford June 10th (we are talking about Stratford Ontario, right?) if I'm still able to travel and present at the International Festival of Children's Theatre. If we're both still able, maybe we could meet for coffee.
How far along are you? 27w5d
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: spending all day in my office with 2 Grade 10 boys writing the province-wide literacy test. So far so good but I can think of more pleasant ways to spend my time. Symptoms: Heartburn is back. Grumble.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Yesterday my daughter told me all about how she's going to make him wear shoes even when he doesn't want to and she'll make sure he's buckled into the cart when we go grocery shopping. So basically my work is done .
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? With two 15 year olds in a hot office, of course! No but really, probably just vegging on my comfy couch. Or napping. I don't know that those would have been my pre-pregnancy responses but I'm all about the lazing around right now.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I really hate when I feel like I REALLY have to pee, and then it's just an itty, bitty trickle.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Trying to figure out plans for where to put baby things in this house in case we aren't able to be in a new one yet.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Curl up under a blanket with a good book and either a glass of wine or a yummy coffee.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant-I posted a pic on fb of my cat in the crib, I'm not a moron, I don't plan on letting my cat in the crib, I had the door open while I went downstairs to get the bedding from the wash and found her in there, took a quick pic, because it was cute, and said to my husband "well, this is something that can't happen", but all of my moms coworkers are flipping out about how dangerous cats are to babies...again I'm not stupid, they pissed me off, they didn't say anything to me, but they did to my mom. Rave- well, we may have changed the date/reservations 3x in 1 day, but my baby shower if finally booked and it was changed to the date I wanted, instead of 3 weeks later when I'm 37 weeks prego. Symptoms- Heart burn, sore back (no matter what side I sleep on, I end up on my back), Braxton Hicks from time to time, mostly when I'm running around like a crazy person at work.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? adding a bunch of stuff to my registry
Questions?
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? I love a rainy day, I live in the mountains with a killer view, so when it's storming bad, I love to open my slider and watch the storm. If it's just raining, it's great sleeping weather.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I complained enough yesterday. I'm wearing really ugly pants today, though - so there's that. They're second hand maternity dress pants and they're SO comfy but they're ugly. Meh. Rave: I didn't wash my eyeliner off yesterday and it didn't smear overnight, so guess who saved 5 mins of make up application today??
What are you doing to prepare for baby? starting to eat healthier I guess
Questions?
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Netflix and cuddling the kids.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant: My DS has been sick and now it's turned into a cough. I just hate coughs. So that along with all the pain, I haven't had a good nights sleep in days. Also, all my clients are using drugs (given, I work for drug court), so that's made for a long week!
Rave: I have two big Raves today. 1. My boss said that she will find work for me to do at home rather than working such long days in the office. Yay!!! This will save me from using my sick/vacation on days that are harder than others!! 2. I found out yesterday that my terrible IL's scheduled to leave for a trip on June 7. The doctor told us that she won't let us go past June 7. I guess my IL's just assumed I would give birth before or on that date. In reality, if I haven't had them, they will probably just schedule the induction or C-section soon after the 7th. I'm sure I'll be in trouble when the babies are born while they are gone but at least they'll be gone!! Again, Yay!!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I'm going to buy a pregnancy support belt today to help the days go a little easier!!
Questions? Nope
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? I love a rainy day, especially if there is thunder and lightning!! These are the perfect days to lay on the couch and watch a scary movie!!
@mar101483 I hate people like that. I post photos of my pup trying out all of our baby gear (except the crib I don't want him to think it's his lol) and someone ALWAYS has to comment "stop spoiling that dog" "he's in for a rude awakening" "strollers are for babies not dogs."
And I'm just like I. fucking. know. He was in it for the 12 seconds it took to snap this picture for the baby book. Calm your tits.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant - I'm super crabby today and I don't really have a reason. Just very rage-y. I also had a bad dream that I got taze-ed by cops for trying to help an old lady walk because she had literal bird legs and couldn't walk on her own and I'm laying there trying to explain that I'm pregnant so they can't do that and a nurse gets lippy with me so I slapped her in the forehead and got arrested....needless to say I woke up pissed. Rave: It's H's birthday today so I get cake! Symptoms: back pain like woah. I decided to try a support belt thingy that helps take some of the weight of your belly off your back and redistribute it. It seems to help a little when I'm walking or standing but it squishes me when I'm sitting so this is a work in process haha.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Need to finish going thru my nephews hand me downs and figure out where to put them all.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Snuggled with a blankie, my cat, and a book. And probably some food.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Symptoms: sciatic nerve pain in my left leg and increase in hunger the past few days!
Rant: I had a scare last night and went to labor and delivery due to decrease in fetal movements the past two days. They monitored her for 20 minutes and did an ultrasound to check fluids and she looked perfectly healthy, they said her back is to my back and sometimes its harder to feel movements. Plus I have an anterior placenta which i knew but since 20 weeks she would move a lot so I was worried when she didn't move much yesterday. But everything turned out to be okay and she is doing fine Ive felt her move more today too.
Rave: I got the car seat and jogging stroller yesterday and put it together so excited to start using it!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We put the car seat and jogging stroller together yesterday and are going order the nursery furniture this weekend!
Questions? I picked out the Bertini Convertible crib and dresser along with a changing topper all by the same company but yesterday I logged on and saw the changing table topper isn't sold anymore and I can't find it anywhere else online. Does the changing table topper have to be the same brand as dresser? I assumed it does because it latches on and fits a certain way on each dresser.
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? Its 75 and sunny here but usually Netflix marathon!
@ahernandez16exactly, People are so annoying. I'm not going to let me cat sleep in the crib next to the baby. She snuck in the crib, I snapped a pic and took her right out of there, done deal. I've heard the "horror stories" of cats sleeping on babies faces because they smell like milk, although I've never actually heard of it happening. Either way, again, not stupid. And as far as spoiling dogs, their lives are so short, they should be nothing but spoiled. My dog is literally my best friend, we cuddle all the time. I know things will be different when the baby comes, but I'm not going to magically stop loving my dog or giving him attention.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: I've had trouble with heartburn/indigestion lately which means I've had to add sleeping propped up to my already uncomfortable sleep routine. I guess it's not surprising I'm tired all the time. In the last couple weeks I suddenly feel HUGE and I've still got a while to go.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Floors next week and then we can move on to getting furniture ordered and set up. My goal is to have baby stuff ready by early May since I wouldn't be shocked to see this baby arrive end of May/beginning of June.
Questions?
GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day?
I really love rainy days, especially if I can stay in pajamas, make a pot of coffee, read a good book and put something that will smell really good cooking in my dutch over to slow cook all day.
How far along?? 27 weeks Rant/Rave/Symptoms.. Rant- MIL is so jealous of step grandma, it's annoying.. step grandma is retiring and offering to help as much as possible with babysitting.. MIL has gone as far as to say that step granny will harm our daughter when she babysits. And is asking to sign her up for daycare with someone she knows. I work 4 days a week. I am not putting my newborn in a daycare with a woman a barely know bc woman I do not know at all bc someone can't get over their jealousy.. Rave- I am extremely thankful for how great I feel latel!! Symptoms- tmi, I know.. but the discharge is driving me nuts. I cannot stand to feel that throughout the day! What are you doing to prepare for baby?Hubby will paint the nursery this weekend. We are also taking up the carpet in that room and putting down hardwood. Other than that, we're doing the typical preparations. Rainy days? We are having some severe weather right now. I'm working today, but if I were home, I'd probably be having a lazy day!
Rant/Rave/Symptoms: Rant/Rave: So I was in line for a promotion to my manager's job, then found out they were interviewing another candidate with more management experience than me. I suspected they'd select her, and they did. The rant part is that I have to train my own manager before I go out on leave, but the rave part is that I discovered that I didn't really want the job after going through our recent implementation and knowing what would be required of me with a newborn. That being said, my senior director said they want to create a new position for me to be the Supervisor, since I'm already performing at that level anyway. So a smaller promotion without having to truly increase my work hours. I only hope this new chick doesn't suck. Symptoms: No sleep. No happy.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Reminding myself not to drink and eating none of the foods I want. Just kidding. Gestating and being grateful for my little guy.

GTKY: Inspired by my weather today...what is your favourite way to spend a rainy day? I used to enjoy a LARGE cup of coffee with a magazine or book. Since coffee and I have a projectile relationship now, I stick to tea. Though, I'd probably find myself bumping instead of reading

I really love rainy days, especially if I can stay in pajamas, make a pot of coffee, read a good book and put something that will smell really good cooking in my dutch over to slow cook all day.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms..
