Because I felt better over the weekend, I stupidly let myself believe that I was done with MS (I'm 10w3d). And then today it came back with a vengeance. I almost had to go home from work. Ugh.
@MRSCORKER Usually what I do with juice is fill up a cup about 1/3 of the way with juice and then add regular or sparkling water to the rest. I do this with sparkling cider or grape juice in a wine glass too when I want to feel fancy Usually juice is super sweet anyways and tastes better when watered down, and I love adding carbonation to things so I go for the sparkling water. My new favorite discovery for this is italian grapefruit soda ... it's delicious!!!
Also, we have one of those water infuser things where you can put fruit (like lemons) in the middle and it infuses the water. There's also an attachment to make iced tea but I haven't used it yet. It's not sweet like lemonade, but it make water more flavorful and less boring.
Has anyone tried liquid Aloe Vera to help with morning sickness? I have a couple friends who swear by it, so I thought I would try it since I am still so very sick. They mix it with tea or juice.

I've been getting headaches a LOT recently but I'm too terrified to take anything, I know that's ridiculous. I've tried upping my water intake. Any other ideas?

A little caffeine usually helps me.

So, I was just walking laps around my office parking lot and suddenly I had a sharp, shooting pain in my cervix. It was so intense that it stopped me dead in my tracks. When it subsided, I walked cautiously back into my office and immediately went to the restroom to check for anything out of the ordinary. Thank God there was no bleeding or anything, but that pain scared the bejesus out of me!
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Do you guys think I should call my doctor to be safe?
Holy crap, I feel mostly good for the first time in weeks. Still have sore boobs, terrible skin, and some awesome lightning vag action happening, but I don't feel like I'm on the verge of the worst flu ever as I have for weeks.
Now, who knows - tomorrow it might be right back to being miserable, but for now I'm actually at work accomplishing work instead of just kind of slogging through it! And I feel like I might be able to get some packing done tonight. Here's hoping this is the beginning of the light at the end of the 1st tri tunnel.
@CopperBoom86 ugh that is scary! I've been having lots of twinges and cramps and various pains in my lower abdomen all week. It seems like the pain is always different. I think everything is really stretching and moving lately. Hopefully it was just that!
Today I'm having a long of back spasms oh joy. I've also been getting daily headaches since the weekend, I'll have to try the soda trick. If only it didn't give me gas pains!
@CopperBoom86 I think it can happen at anytime! I've definitely felt it so far in this pregnancy and I've seen a lot of people mention it on this board
So! Day two of feeling good. Even my boobs are a little less sore. I swore I wouldn't be that lady who freaks out when I'm not feeling awful, but, well, I'm currently that lady who is freaking out a little bit that everything doesn't feel awful.
I'm going to try really hard to focus on the fact that I'm over 11 weeks, and first tri symptoms are supposed to be letting up a bit around now, and try not to worry when I don't have an actual reason to worry.
I feel so normal today (except that my work pants don't fit and every shirt I own now looks too provocative for work, lol) and I don't hate it. I still am tired by the end of the day but not nearly as bad. This feeling can stay.
@emmaaa ... that cracks me up! Even my regular old t-shirts looks a little bit much these days, so I can totally relate. My close friends, H, and mom have all said to me "your boobs are huge" at some point. I guess this is the one good side effect I've had so far @mrszoess... I spoke with a close friend of mine who said hers flared up really badly around 10 weeks and lasted through 13 weeks... then went away. Hopefully yours does the same very soon sorry you're not feeling well!
My boobs haven't gotten that much bigger. DH says they are but I used to have huge boobs and when I lost weight, they were the first to go. I was hoping for some pregnancy boobs! Maybe mine will blow up later in pregnancy. FX!

Yeah i'm still waiting for my boobs to grow haha I started out as a B, and I'm pretty sure i'm still there haha they're definitely fuller/heavier but not much bigger
@mrszoess - the same thing happened to me at 12 weeks! I've been puking every day now, just when I thought I was nearing the end. Here's hoping it's just a few more weeks for us.
Re: Symptoms thread 3/13
I don't know how it stands for sweetener, but I like the True Lemon lemonades and limeades.
