Update: I go under general anesthesia tomorrow to have the baby removed. They will be doing tests on the baby to see if they can discover a cause. God willing, our OB says we can start trying again in June or July. Happy and healthy 9 months to you all
So I jinxed myself with my PGAL post this week. We announced to the world on Easter Sunday after getting the all clear from our OB, last night I bled for about an hour, had a really bad feeling and went into the ER where my hubby works. Her heartbeat is gone, they refer to it as "fetal demise, unknown causes". Our baby is dead, and they have no idea why basically. I stopped bleeding after about an hour. I go into OB in about 2 hours to find out whether we are going to try to remove the baby with meds or do a D&C. My body doesn't seem to want to get rid of her. We are devastated. This is my second miscarriage in 6 months, my 4th total and 5th babe that's passed. The docs and nurses said to not worry, I have 3 healthy living kiddos and that means we should be able to do it again, but that doesn't help right now. I don't know if hubby will be ready for a while. This is his first, and while he loves my kiddos like his own, he wants a baby more than anything in this world. He cried and cried and I feel so guilty for not being able to give him his child. Plus, we just announced to everyone, so how horrible is that to have to un-tell everyone????? Ugh my worst nightmare come true, feels like. I'm just numb. Back to bed for me. Have a wonderful rest of your pregnancy and I wish every single one of you the absolute most beautiful, healthy, bouncing babies!!!
