Baby Names

Sister for Lucas? All help welcome!!

We are stuck on names for baby #2. Hoping somebody might have some ideas based on our taste.
1) We prefer classic, traditional names.
2) Not difficult to spell or pronounce (we ruled out Madeline and Caroline because nobody ever seems to know if they have a long or short i sound).
3) Almost positive the middle name will be Ann/Anne as it is a family name. So has to sound good with that.
4) Would like a name that has a nickname (like Luke for Lucas).
5) Not too popular (I know Lucas is pretty popular, but out of top 20 at least for his birth year).
6) I also dislike boys' names on girls, so strictly feminine.
7) Our last name starts with a short o, so nothing too alliterative.

I know that is a ton of requirements (now you can see why we are having so much trouble!). But if anyone can help, you guys can!

  • Like several of those, but except for Charlotte, none really have nicknames. And NN for Charlotte are Charlie (too boyish) and Lottie (NMS). Eleanor, NN Nora is an option.

  • Rosalie, Rosalind (Rose/Rosie)
    Cordelia, Coraline (Cora/Delia)
    Genevieve (Jenny)
    Penelope (Penny)
    Catherine (Kate)
    Rebecca (Becca/Becky)
    Victoria (Vicky/Tori)
    Elizabeth (Beth/Liz)
    Margaret (Maggie)
    Josephine (Josie)

I can see what you mean about pronunciation issues with Madeline, but if you loved Caroline I think you'd be ok with pronunciation.  Unless it's "Carolyn" everyone should know that Caroline has the long i sound.
