DS name help...

We are having a boy and have it narrowed down to three names: Ethan, Aiden, and Colin and middle name will be Michael (family name). We love all three names and after two months still cannot decide. Help?!

What does your last name begin with. They are all perfectly fine names, though Aiden is very popular now.

Love them all but I picked Colin bc I haven't heard it as much recently!

My first is Ethan and I love his name, but there are a lot of other Ethans around. If popularity bothers you, Colin is the least popular of the three. Aiden is part of the Kaiden, Jaiden, Zaiden, etc trend going on now, so taken all together and with all the various spellings, it's the most popular name group for boys.

Thanks so much for the input ladies! I'm a FTM and other than looking at statistics online I have no idea what the most popular boy names are currently. I had no idea that Aiden was that popular, but I had seen that Ethan was in the top 10. Looks like Colin may be what we go with!

Yeah, people use all sorts of "creative" spelling with Aiden. If you were to go through the Social Security name list for 2014 and add up all the boys named Aiden, Ayden, Aden, Aidyn etc, the total would put it somewhere in the top 5. Namenerds.com used to do that, but I'm not sure if they did it for the 2014 SSA list. I know they made a combine spelling list of 2013 names somewhere on their site.
